So happy for Morten Andersen. He was the premier kicker in the NFL for a solid decade. AND he was a productive player until the age of 47. He spent more of his life in the NFL (25 years) than he hadn't when he retired (22). How could he NOT be deserving?

If it weren’t for him, as well as some others, the game wouldn’t be nearly as much of a phenomenon/spectacle in the U.S.. I’d say he deserving of the honor. And of course Jimmy too. He built those 3 championships

I hope the T.O. gets in for 2018 because if he doesn't, Look at the names coming up: Randy Moss and Tony Gonzalez in a year or two. You could have on the ballot Owens, Moss, Gonzalez and then throw in Ike Bruce and Torry Holt. Good luck in picking one or two for the hall of fame.

Terrell Owens will eventually get in to the Hall of Fame, it's going going to be "if" it's going to be "when". This will go for Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne and others . Right now, NO WR will get in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. NONE. The interesting name to watch is Tony Gonzalez. He maybe will get in on the first ballot even though he is a TE, but he's 2nd and third in receptions and yardage in his career. Jerry Rice was the last WR to go in on the first ballot, that's going to stay for awhile. Michael Irvin was the last WR to go in on his second ballot. Tony Gonzalez may challenge that one.

Can someone please explain the procedure to me? Some of them already have a camerateam in their room or their whole family waiting. Do they come to the event not knowing if its their year or how is it done?
