Hello, here is just some random FAQ I wrote for anyone who is new. The newer FumoFumos do not have a card/paper tag anymore, so it's not exclusive to Junko. In the plastic bag you will see a small paper slip that may be useful for determining authenticity. Same with the small white tag. As for your question, I wouldn't recommend washing your FumoFumo in a washing machine. There are many different methods online that may help. There is no exact method I have tried for credibility yet. But you may ask around for methods to prevent the fabric from pilling or differing in texture as much as possible. In my opinion the key is to be gentle with whatever method so as to not royally mess up the direction of the fabrics, especially hair. Also be cautious using lint rollers so as not to tug on the embroidery or fabrics. The white bottoms on Fumos also can get dirty easily from sitting down all the time. Of course you can just throw it around or have it on your bed or couch so long as you enjoy the plushie. For display I would really recommend something wide like a bookshelf. Glass cases don't look very good with plushes compared to figures in my opinion. Also do not put fabric or plushes in your display cases with lights or LED strips because it can actually cause a fire. All LED light strip companies false advertise, those things can actually heat up a lot. I just decided to throw mine out. A good rule of thumb is to never trust youtube or amazon product recommendations. Even "amazon's choice" stuff can be extremely cheap and not safe. Taking care of them, getting rid of dust, and a bookshelf (white looks best since it's a more reflective color) will do just fine. Although overpriced, they're just plushes so don't worry about them pilling or getting slightly dirty unless it really bothers you. I know some insane figure collectors who don't enjoy the items they buy because they shove them in a closet all day, so don't be afraid to hold a fumo lol
