I am having the same issue with my 2014 Infiniti Q60. Same codes and it won't go over 10 with puttering or sounding like it wants to stop. My question is, Does the valve body have to be replaced? Or can the output shat sensor just be replaced? Also, how much does all that cost?
Only proper diagnostics can answer that. However all 3 or 4 cases I've had it needed the tcm. If that is the case, it not a cheap repair. Easily over 3k
You can do it, trust me. So people laughed when I said I would do it in our car. There is a guy who posted step by step instructions on a forum. If you do a Google search for 2015 Q50 P0720, the forum with his instructions pops up. It even has the links for the factory service manual. So I bought about $90 worth of cheap tools from Harbor Freight. Metric socket set. Snap ring pliers. An inch pound torque wrench. And a fluid pump. I rented jack stands and a jack from True Value. Here's the thing, it cost $75 a day to rent them, but if you rent them on Friday, you don't have to return until Monday, but they only charge for one day. Which was great because it took me all three days to do it. I know they guy in this video did it in a few hours but he is a professional. I was doing it on the ground when it was 112° the first day and 108° the next two days. We live in North Las Vegas. But yeah, I actually had a lot of fun doing it. I didn't have anyone to help me. I just put in my earbuds and rocked away while following the instructions step by step. I was shocked when it worked without any problems. A year later it is still working.
@gautorepair OK. I have a 2016 Q50 RWD so mine shouldn't need to be programmed correct? Do you order from dealer online or your local dealer? I'm in FL as well.

Hello, thank you for your video. I have the same problem with my 2015 Q50 and am not sure if I should buy an Automatic Transmission Valve Body from the dealer for 1900.00 or Amazon for 500.00. Do you know what is the average labor cost for this type of work? thanks.
Do not buy a valve body for a Nissan 7 speed automatic from eBay or Amazon. Most all of them come from China, and they are crap. When it comes to something like this, ONLY buy from Nissan/Infiniti.
