Patrik signed for Aston Villa in June 2005 after spending two years with Portsmouth. During his three years at Villa Park, he made 32 appearances and scored 2 goals.
"I was absolutely buzzing when I signed for Aston Villa. They are a massive club. They've won league titles, FA Cups and have a European Cup to their name. They have great fans, great stadium and great facilities. Sadly though I had so many injuries over the period that I was unable to fully show my potential but I still had a fantastic time and I absolutely loved it."
