I just installed this intake on my friends Gr Corolla. He gets check engine light. Did you connect the solenoid back for the vacuum controlled flap on the stock intake? I left his out and connector is loose, is that the issue maybe? Should I connect the solenoid and tie it up with a zip tie, out of the way?
I did not reconnect the solenoid no. since the fap on the intake box is not reused, the solenoid is deleted and the plug wrapped up and set aside out of the way. Currently at 3K miles on the intake with no issues.
official dynos for this application will come later part of this month by IND Distribution. This system will be at least what their GR Yaris system did which is (+14WHP/4QTQ) if not more as there are some added improvements on this system

The price is utterly absurd. The GTI had a full carbon intake system for less than half the price of this
