The Queen of Argyll

What happens when a group of guys spies a pretty lady? Apparently something along the lines of this song. Written by Silly Wizard, it tells the story of a true historical figure: Princess Louise, Duchess of Argyll. A member of the British royal family, she did not always fit the mold of dutiful royalty. This song is an ode to not only her incredible beauty, but her influence in Great Britain, including Scotland, as the "Queen" or Duchess of Argyll.

The Duke of Argyll became Governor-General of Canada in the late 1870s and early 1880s, with the Queen of Argyll at his side. Lake Louise, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, in Alberta is named in her honour, a truly deserved legacy for one of the most beautiful and talented members of Britain's royal family.
