It's a pity the mike is positioned in such a way that the singers mouth is masked completely while she speaks or sings! A little care could have been exercised while recording the video.

Very good. Again just like SIndhu Bhairavi, this ragam was also left out by the artistes and not given its due. Why should it be not the central piece of any cutcheri? I don't think Saint Thyagaraja would have had anything against that. Nor any other Vaggeyakara would have objected. But the long overdue correction has been made now by the modern artists like Madurai Seshagopalan who have brought out the majesty of such ragams by making this as the main piece in their cutcheris.
