That's badass brother! I hope to stumble upon something like this one day. I always keep a Hawaiian sling on the boat. Hopefully I can use it in a situation like this.
Holly Christmas Batman.. Awesome video. Man there was a ton of them they where laying on top of each other. A 8' pole spear and a sliptip stringer would be the perfect thing for that. Kris
For sure. We didn’t plan for it but stumbled across them. Hit a couple wrecks within a mile and they weren’t on those ones so I guess this was just an isolated pocket.
You did good without specialized gear. That dusty bottom is the key. I have a rocky spot like that in the middle of a bunch of ledges.25 miles out. Really fine dusty sand/mud always has flounder stacked up. Problem is we have almost no flounder season right now. So I never go to it anymore.

I’ve been at it a long time and heard stories about it. Was definitely cool to see and experience. Right time right place
@@jasonbihari You shot a lot of smackerel flounders

Seem like they were more interested in the shell bottom on this wreck. The pattern blended in perfectly with the shells
Great video. Nice fish too!!
Thank you
Tight squeeze to get that shaft!
Getting in wasn’t bad but getting back out was a little weird. Noticed how I checked my air pressure before going in.🤣
Awesome! I only seen four. They hide pretty good, nice catch.
It’s tricky for sure
Flounder kabobs with the shaft. Awesome!
That was so much fun
Nice dive!!
Definitely something different for me
All that bait is the reason why they’re there. Looks like the McAlexander wreck off of new Smyrna with all that net….
We were on the Gulf side north Florida
is this on the east coast? that dont look like gulf sand
Gulf of Mexico
@@jasonbihari a lot of flounder in right now?
@@mauibuilt50 it was good on that spot but I don’t really know the area very well and know nothing about flounder.
Is he gonna shoot the smackerek?
Flounder pounder 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
It was definitely a different experience
