  • Cleaning a kerosene heater, dry burning the wick and making sure the kerosene heater works properly for the winter.

    First of l only have to unscrew the two bottom screws and the whole thing comes off. You're making more work for yourself. I have three of them and they work awesome! Your making g more work than you need to do.

    Thanks for watching... we had a cold weekend with tornadoes that was in the forecast.. I got extra kerosene just in case the power went out

      Good day.. I think the screen you are referring to is the screen seen @6:48.. the heat produced is amazing. Check out some of the other videos I have posted that actually have this unit in use during an emergency.     whats kinda funny is i like finding older or beat up heaters like that and fixing em. whats funny is the best thing to clean em up with is kerosene. Nothing puts the shine back on the chassis like a wipe down with kero

    Why not just replace the wick? They are cheaper than an hour of labor at minimum wage.

      The wick didn’t need to be replaced and the unit needed a little cleaning. If you watched any other kerosene videos I posted you will see the wick burned fine. When they don’t burn that’s when they need replacing… thanks for that question and checkout some of those other videos I’ve posted.. consider subscribing if you haven’t already.
