Bottomless Pots || A Fabulous Idea From Bunny Guinness 😊

I have to give Bunny Guinness total credit for this wonderful garden idea.
She cuts the bases off all her pots and planters which means she can plant absolutely anything, including small trees, in them. They will never get waterlogged as they can freely drain directly into the native soil, and the roots of the plants are never just confined to the pot for the same reason.
They also add height to the garden, extra interest, and show the plants off better as well.

I wanted to try this method out myself by cutting down 5 large planters I’ve had for a few years (thanks to Richard for his help) and so this is what I am doing today.
