I saw Three Day Stubble open for the Boredoms prob in 91 or 92. Completely hilarious nerdcore between song banter. "We're from San Francisco...Texas!" I think I laughed through their whole set. Then I got leveled by The Boredoms. Quite a night
Oh my God, I was there. They opened for a band I was there to see. All these years, I couldn't be sure that I saw what I remembered...I thought that there is no way that I could have seen mentally challenged people to play in a band. Then I noticed the fast food uniforms and thought, "Well, if they're able to hold down jobs, maybe they can play in a band, too."
i remember them playing live one morning on Wake Up and Smell the Coffee sometime in the 80's. they were promoting a show at Shipley's Donuts. they did a song called Nick the Dick. killed me...so great, something special and strange. plus their record came with a paper hat.

The better record stores in Houston sold their "Friendly Park Survivors" cassette in a brown paper bag.
Loved them if San Francisco Oakland in the 90$. Always fun !
Saw these guys around 1990 in a small venue in San Diego. Their off-stage antics were as strange as their onstage ones. Truly disturbed me.
Remember that 'this is your brain on drugs' commercial?
also, their song Be NIce. that one goes through my mind to this day as i walk the streets of NYC...i wonder why.
かっこええ!!

Nothing more abrasive than 3 day stubble
I may have been at that show.
We used to throw shit at them.
there was a girl who played guitar with them . she was really beautiful
Her name is Ann. Haven't heard from her in years but I sure hope she is doing well!
They were so interesting--so bright, and fun. I grew up in Houston, and for a while I knew Ann and Dan Watson...and Brent(?) sort of.
