So awesome to hear the "fanboy" Tarantino, working in the rent store going crazy with all VHS and stuff, and becoming a legendary director. He achieved the dream, from fan to legend.
Once Upon in Hollywood is a perfect movie. A classic and Iove Dana Carvey expressing what a lot of us think
Towards the end of this interview Quentin says that he was hired as a ‘movie expert to inform customers in a prestigious video store’ before he became famous and was not simply the ‘video store clerk’ as has been long reported. Bless.
dana can keep up with quentin more than most interviewers, this was lovely
Wait holy cow. This isn't some blue card special a la late night, this is a downright satisfying, two-person conversation. I haven't seen something like this on late night in a long time (or if I have, I don't remember).
This is the best Quentin Tarantino interview. Dana did a great job. I obviously need to check out his podcast.
He often gets asked the same kinda stuff so it's great Dana got some unique questions in there. The Beatles pull and how he phrased it was genius. Conan's podcast was also really good example of this.
Oh, what a joy...could've watched these two for hours..
Carvey is killing it! Super well done.
I love Kimmel, but I doubt Tarantino would have been this open and relaxed and given as good of an interview with him. Dana Carvey did an amazing job here.
