This video gives a brief general outline of the three operating modes of this craft. First off we have VTOL mode which is fairly self explanatory. I should point out that this should only be used at low speeds with the SAS enabled otherwise loss of control will occur. Using this mode disables all the control surfaces.
Next up with have standard mode for general flying and zoomies. With this mode the props are set to produce maximum T/W with full authority from the control surfaces. At maximum throttle this will eventually deplete the onboard batteries however they can be replenished by either reducing the throttle or entering cruise mode. At low altitudes this mode can be used without SAS for a better flying experience.
Last off we have cruise or energy saving mode which should be activated at low altitudes or in a dive using maximum available speed. Once activated the prop angle will be set for high speed flight and some of the control surfaces will be disabled for easier long distance piloting. As long as the pitch angle isn't excessive it's possible to cruise at up to 18km in height. Sadly the Kraken starts gnawing at the props if you fly any higher. If the props stall the craft will quickly loose speed and you'll need to switch back to standard mode and descend in order to re-enable cruise mode. SAS should be enabled and this mode should not be used with the VTOL configuration.

The craft does indeed use a server for VTOL with pitch alteration for entering cruise/high speed flight.

do you use any cheats when making your ksp cinematics?
Yes, they'd be impossible to make without cheats. Just transporting the tunnel section would need a rocket about the size of Minmus.
is it a kracken drive or eves atmosphere that you van fly so slow?
At the lower levels it's more like fluid then air!

No, propellers.
how does it fly on kerbin?
Not well at all, it's designed for Eve. I have completed a new electric aircraft that flies perfectly on Kerbin, Eve or Laythe but I'm afraid you'll have to wait for next video to see it.

thats the smothest plane i have ever seen, but where are the vtol engines?
The engines are mounted on a bearing inside the body of the craft for fwd/vtol flight.
@@CupcakesLanders cool, do you have like a personal save where the entire kerbal system is colonized with cool planes or do you do each video in a seperate save? Just wondering
I do separate saves for every video. It gets too messy otherwise.
