The lady didn’t get the shoes, she only put them on the duck. The crew from the video shoot bought them because they felt bad the little ducks feet were bleeding. If she really cared about her pets she wouldn’t keep her dog outside on a chain with her puppies in a box. I would like to know what happens to the puppies when they get old enough.

The dog probably got imprinted. When a duck is born, if they see any moving object near them they will assume that's the mother. The dog was probably right there when the egg hatched lol.
