I went to 3 different gamestops in my area. Picked up Donkey Kong tropical freeze, the ori collection, cup head, nier automata, overcooked 1 &2 and Bayonetta origins. All for the buy 2 get 1 deal. I also ordered Blasphemous 2 off amazon for 20 bucks. Pretty decent haul today
Great pickups! I picked up the following games this Black Friday. Balatro (PS5/Switch) Pikman 4 Ghost of Tsushima (Director’s Cut PS5) Tekken 8 (PS5 Unicorn Overlord (Switch) - already own PS5 Returnal (PS5) Outer Wilds (PS5/Switch) Potion Permit Deluxe edition (PS5) Broforce (PS4)
For the month of Black Friday I picked up quite a few games Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Chained Echoes, Core Keeper, CrossCode, Hyper Light Drifter - Special Edition, Sea of Stars and more.
Why does the Switch tax exist? It’s generally the worst version of any third party game, but they’ll still be $10 more expensive on sale. I don’t wanna pay $35 for ace Combat 7 or Unicorn Overlord. Though, Vanillaware games do tend to get rare.
You wanna know what's funny about SMT V Vengeance being on sale through Amazon? The Standard Version was on sale for 25 dollars. Then 3 or 4 days later, that sale was off but the Steelbook version was on sale for the same price as the Standard Version was before. I was lucky to pick up the steelbook version for Switch.
Black Friday has honestly been great for gamers this year. I bought more than I expected myself lol. Got FF7 Rebirth (coming today), Sand Land on ps5, Tropical Freeze on switch and I dont know if I'm done yet or not XD
@nikeman116 I really thought the demo was interesting early this year. It felt kinda bare bones in certain aspects but I do enjoy the world of sand land so its probably gonna be worth it
I grabbed Stellar Blade, Silent Hill 2, Unicorn Overlord, Metaphor, FF Pixel Remaster, Persona 3 Reload. How I will have the time for all of these is beyond me 😂
How have you not played Ragnarok? The only thing I'm looking for is a PS5 Disc Drive for the Pro and the scalpers are still scalping all of them. There's no retail price ones. eBay is charging $140 +😩
I just started NieR: Automata for the Nintendo Switch. I finished Borderlands 1 on the switch. And still playing Disco Elysium !!! I have been playing ps5 Cyberpunk 2077. I just bought Silent Hill 2 & Spider-Man 2. On the Xbox. I am still playing COD: BO6... I am thinking about buying the digital Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition
Ive been going crazy this black friday with couch coop games in particular to play with my gf. I picked up for the PS5: Borderlands 3, Tiny Tinas Wonderland, Sackboy a Big Adventure and Lego Horizon. For Switch: Unravel Two, Sonic Superstars, Cat Quest Trilogy and Sea of Stars (now has coop!)
I went heavy on PS5 this year also. I have a feeling a lot of people have overlooked the PS5 physical collection and many games are getting low print runs. BTW, I’m sure you already know this, but don’t drop Switch collecting too soon. Most of the highly collectible games come at the end of a consoles life. People move on and miss those games that often make “the most out of the hardware”.
Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
By-the-way, Xseed is today's version of Working Designs from Sega Saturn days, if you ask me, and I think Xseed games will eventually hold the value and be what Working Design games are today
You should have gotten the collector's edition on of unicorn. It was $64.99. that's the price of a regular copy of the game normally, but you get the collector's deluxe edition on woot.
@ItsAMiiBo gotcha. I wasn't expecting to find a collector's Edition. So cheap, especially for an Atlas games. You know their games go up in price to begin with and the collector's editions get even more insane
i see many games, looks impossible to me to play them all and just collecting is stupid. last year i bought maybe 12 games with days of play and did not even play 1 of them.. better spend it more useful.. it seems u have enough money while many people have no food..
I think VGP got buried with orders especially after they announced the DualSense at $50 USD. I’ve picked up at least 10 games and three controllers with VGP. I’m always happy with my order and love their sales. Typically shipping is very fast.
For Physical Games I bought for Xbox during Black Friday I bought Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Stunt Mayhem and Monster High Skullmate Secrets. For Digital Xbox Games I got Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy and Fuzion Frenzy.
I got Asterix and Obeliks XXL collection, Octopath traveler 2, Xenoblade chronicles 2, Super mario rpg and Super mario party jamboree. Edit: plus I got the red and blue joycons to pair with the ones from my v2 switch. I love the blue joycons.
VGP hasn’t shipped my orders yet either. I live within 50km of their main store and my stuff has always shipped within a day or two at most so I’m guessing they are just really backlogged with Black Friday orders. I’m hoping it’s unrelated to the Canada Post strike we are experiencing right now and that VGP would just use a different shipping service.
@leeartlee915 I would imagine he bought a game on a digital sale and liked it enough to then go get a physical copy to keep it preserved and have ownership over it. Dont get me wrong it is very rare that I personally double dip, but there have been times where it has made sense for me to do so. I guess at the end of the day the guy has plenty of cash to do it so if it makes him happy why not?
Damn bro got a lot! My current list of games I’m buying are: Mario and Luigi Brothership Black Myth Wukong Astro Bot Sonic X Shadow Generations Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D
Hello no, I avoided all of that installation time and purchased what I could on the switch version games. at least I don't have to struggle with storage: change my mind.
I got sm5v steele book, silent hill 2 remake, sand land, like a dragon infinite wealth, pikmin 1+2, Batman Arkham collection, the last faith, sega man genesis collection, balatro, Stanley parable and armor core 6
Interesting. Never seen a video of yours before. I, too, got a lot of PS5 games. Mostly catching up titles. A Quiet Place, Robocop, Tekken 8, NHL 25 and NBA 2K25 because they're (or should've been treated like Anniversary editions, but weren't.... NHL 25 was, finally, only on PS5 but barely taps into the hardware), etc. I didn't get Ys or the new game from SEGA, because they're new so I'm waiting for price drops. I got Final Fantasy Rebirth and XVI as well as the Final Fantasy 1-VI Collection, yeah, I've never gotten so many games all at once. This console generation I've learned to be incredibly patient and wait for price drops as opposed to the PS3 generation where I had to have everything at launch. This generation they're just handing everything incredibly poorly and devs are lazy and just want to gripe and complain about going to work, work itself, and compensation forgetting what life was like before they got their high paying cushy jobs. Woke culture, man..... I guess I'd have to disagree. I think that Disgaea game is looking good. I've actually gotten to where I don't like the look of Switch games these days, which is generally what happens once the console is maxed out. For example, I really like the look of old Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and if memory serves Nintendo DS Pokemon style games. Pokemon and Zelda first come to mind with how all Nintendo Switch games seem to look these days and is the representation of how all of them pretty much look. I call it The Barbie Doll aesthetic. The textures bleed into the character model, and of course the whole finished product looks like those displays looked back in the day where you've have a cardboard scene and then you had removable vinyl stickers you position on the scene you could then remove and reposition. Near the end of the PS3 and Xbox 360 era when games like Lollipop Chainsaw, Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengence, Vanquish, and the likes, the character models started to look cell shaded and then pasted onto their backgrounds. The Last of Us Remastered has the same look on the PS4 vs the PS3 version that looks like the assets were developed together. On PS4, it looks like they were made in two different arenas then put together and looks weird. That's how Switch games look now. It all runs the same and you can tell artistic "innovation" has run dry. Resolution is low and lack of anti-aliasing and dithering is readily apparent, it's sad. We'll see what happens with the Switch 2 but, I think Nintendo is intentionally holding off on purpose announcing it with hopes of toppling the overall sales to try and beat the PS2 to claim total sales and new record to finish off the way they started with consoles dying. Nobody is every gonna come close to 160 million ever again. Sony doesn't even believe in themselves as they're cutting their console generations shorter and shorter together. PS5 Pro? That's a console generation for PlayStation now. It's new hardware, that is just like launching a new console for them, but the marketing they use a mid gen to make it seem like they're not abandoning anyone. They're tricky and smart. But! I think Nintendo fans as well as Steak Deck fans have cause to be concerned if Sony is making a PS Vita 2. Look at how the PS3 Vita changed how handhelds are today, makes you wonder why they doubted themselves and underestimated their PS Vita by making things difficult for the consumers that loved the Vita and, like they usually do, at the first sign of trouble, rather than course correcting and making a bigger push to fix the error, like they did with PS3 and like Nintendo always does, Sony just gives up and moves on. It's sad. They thought the mobile market was the dominating factor and instead of pushing for more a reason, yeah, threw in the towel. Then look what Nintendo did. "What if two people could play on a tiny screen" and "what if it had a rumble feature like a controller already has?" It was that much extra thinking. Sony had proven they can think the same way when they simply asked: "why don't handhelds have a second analog stick? We did it with the Dualshock." Sony is doing the same thing now. They're giving up on the PSVR2 and letting it sail off instead of asking: What more can we do with this? That's sad. They innovated how to wear VR, like Nintendo did with the Switch, so now they have a comfortable VR headset but instead of challenging their big studios to find a way to make it mainstream, they just give up and move on like they're now handing the batton off to Nintendo to solve the problem for them, wrake in all the money, and then Sony say "why didn't we do that?" BECAUSE YOU GAVE UP!!!! Right before the dawn. You got cold and said it wasn't worth the trek, now Nintendo makes all the money. But, with PS Vita 2 supposedly on the horizon, Sony makes good hardware, the best! But they have to commit to it and see it through. That's why Nintendo is coming up on 160 million Switch consoles to outsell the PS2. PS2 stayed ok the market until the near death of the PS3 so, in terms of innovation, beware Nintendo. Xbox isnt going to do anything revolutionary, they never do. They're just gonna build a more poweful Steam Deck that streams games and call it a day ..... Who wants that? Sony will innovate, somehow, they have too. PS Vita introduced a second analog stick, an OLED display, and Near was innovative and short lived in how social online play on a handheld could be done. It was comfortable in the hands, had better audio (PS Vita 2 will use binaural surround just like PS5 but they need to use the tech in the Razor headset that also has haptics that vibrates with the audio. Razor only used it with DTS:X on a few gaming experiences but, it's an amazing feel to feel the haptics work when a helicopter is "circling" around your head. It's really cool tech. This generation of handheld devices needs to be about total immersion that's portable. It's not just looking at a screen, it's blending audio, haptics, and VR together wherever you go. Razor had a really good thing going. Pair that with Sonys 3D audio and get DTS:X to back you instead of Dolby trash and boom!
I have the PS5 and Series X since launch day…. and every time I have the choice, I will buy the Xbox version. Even if it cost a little more. I have so many issues with Sony and their hardware. I will never trust them with 3rd party stuff again.
@ You’ve had issues with your Xbox? Like what? My PS5 has had video issues, corruption problems, and just a generally unappealing UI (though that last one is subjective). And that’s just for THIS generation. I’ve had issues with every single Playstation, from the first one literally falling apart to the 5th one doing, well, the above. I’ve never had issues with Xbox. Even my 360 never had issues. Granted, I didn’t buy an early model of that console but even still. But I rambled. What issues have you have with your Series X? I am assuming you own one if you’re making this claim.
@ i had an xbox one and upgraded to a xbox series s. Unfortunately, I cant compare it to a series X but what ive experienced is slow downloads, weird cut out of video, sound not going through controller properly or statically, games some how being purchased twice on 1 account(i think my mom accidentally did it while watching netflix but how did she purchase 2 copies of Corvus digitally?), lack of xbox support when you have an issue, and ironically the UI is annoying in my opinion as well. I think we both just are unlucky or have two different tastes. I didnt have a 360 the xbox one i got for black friday in 2018 and I got a series S in 2023. Ive had all playstation consoles and i didnt have any issue with any of them not even the fighter jet noise on a ps4💀
Surprised you didn’t grab some SD cards for Switch 2. Though, if the doomers are right and it doesn’t release until holiday 2025 you can just grab ‘em this time next year. 🤷♂️
Also with all your double dipping you’re going to end up like RGT who had a huge massive collection stored in bins. Not every game is worth owning just to have if you ask me. Backlog will never get cleared
"Black Friday broke my wallet". This is the most accurate description of how my Black Friday haul went. Too many top tier games on sale 😂
Your channel has been a highlight of my Black Friday season, and thanks to you my wallet is also hurting quite a bit 😂
I’ve also drastically cut back on Nintendo Switch and have been really enjoying the PS5 library and trophy hunting
Balatro (PS5/Switch)
Pikman 4
Ghost of Tsushima (Director’s Cut PS5)
Tekken 8 (PS5
Unicorn Overlord (Switch) - already own PS5
Returnal (PS5)
Outer Wilds (PS5/Switch)
Potion Permit Deluxe edition (PS5)
Broforce (PS4)
That VGP sale has me in a chokehold lol
For the month of Black Friday I picked up quite a few games Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Chained Echoes, Core Keeper, CrossCode, Hyper Light Drifter - Special Edition, Sea of Stars and more.
I’ve bought almost exclusively from VGP for Black Friday this year, and target. My VGP orders, 2 of 3 have shipped
Why does the Switch tax exist? It’s generally the worst version of any third party game, but they’ll still be $10 more expensive on sale. I don’t wanna pay $35 for ace Combat 7 or Unicorn Overlord. Though, Vanillaware games do tend to get rare.
Because it’s not a cd. Pretty obvious
I got ya, ready.......mmm portable
The gamestop sale with the buy 2 get 1 free was the best deal I saw for the most part
tears of the kingdom and silent hill 2 for 30 each were my best pick ups from walmart. those were great deals
Today is Black Friday but I don’t see the steelbook on sale
@@vitolibido look harder can't miss it
Great haul video and I picked up a lot of similar games. (You also reminded me I totally forgot to put nioh collection in my best buy order)
Also shoutout for the AJJ shirt, that caught me by surprise! Great band, definitely a deep cut
Black Friday has honestly been great for gamers this year. I bought more than I expected myself lol. Got FF7 Rebirth (coming today), Sand Land on ps5, Tropical Freeze on switch and I dont know if I'm done yet or not XD
Yeah man had to get sand land too.
How I will have the time for all of these is beyond me 😂
Disgaea 7 is really good, 6 was mixed but 7 received pretty good praise
How have you not played Ragnarok? The only thing I'm looking for is a PS5 Disc Drive for the Pro and the scalpers are still scalping all of them. There's no retail price ones. eBay is charging $140 +😩
Man what to do with all the games when you don't have more space :(
I want all of the in my room but shelfspace is almost finished. What do you do?
Nice pickups! I picked up some PS5 from Walmart as well! 🔥
Your orders from VGP will be delayed most likely. Canada is having delays due to Canadian post being on strike
I luckily got that $20 cyberpunk to come like the next day. Hopefully yours comes through
Ive been going crazy this black friday with couch coop games in particular to play with my gf.
Great information for black friday
I picked up a 2TB SSD for my PS5, Tears of the Kingdom, and Pikmin 4. My wallet is crying. 🤣
Ive held back this BF. Got an anniversary ps5 slim so i tried not to be too greedy this year.
It would take me a whole year just to finish the ps5 stack.
Kingsglaive is an amazing movie, watched it on Netflix before it got removed and the story was awesome. I have no idea why it was hated on so much
Playing Metaphor while I listen/watch this. Good recommendations
You should have gotten the collector's edition on of unicorn. It was $64.99. that's the price of a regular copy of the game normally, but you get the collector's deluxe edition on woot.
I already have the special edition on Switch, didn’t want two of the big box sitting around tbh lol but $65 is a great deal on that!
Sounds like a personal problem...yes, buying games u wont play is stupid...guess who the stupid one tho?
I think VGP got buried with orders especially after they announced the DualSense at $50 USD. I’ve picked up at least 10 games and three controllers with VGP. I’m always happy with my order and love their sales. Typically shipping is very fast.
I must hate money too!
Since you're a big Playstation guy do you go after platinum trophy's or do you just play the game and move on after credit rolls?
Amazing PS5 video games
VGP hasn’t shipped my orders yet either. I live within 50km of their main store and my stuff has always shipped within a day or two at most so I’m guessing they are just really backlogged with Black Friday orders. I’m hoping it’s unrelated to the Canada Post strike we are experiencing right now and that VGP would just use a different shipping service.
Did I hear that right? You own SMT5 in three different forms? I mean, it’s your money but that shit just makes no sense to me.
Switch for on the go and PS5/PC for better graphics. Makes sense to me if you really like the game
It annoyed me that I couldn’t just buy the dlc standalone. I already own SMTV, Atlus. I don’t need to own it twice. Just let me buy the dlc, dammit.
@ And digital too. How does that factor in?
@leeartlee915 I would imagine he bought a game on a digital sale and liked it enough to then go get a physical copy to keep it preserved and have ownership over it. Dont get me wrong it is very rare that I personally double dip, but there have been times where it has made sense for me to do so. I guess at the end of the day the guy has plenty of cash to do it so if it makes him happy why not?
@ Double dipping is one thing. He triple dipped.
S Tier Consumer
Is Amazon doing any sales on Nintendo First Party games
Damn bro got a lot! My current list of games I’m buying are:
Mario and Luigi Brothership
Black Myth Wukong
Astro Bot
Sonic X Shadow Generations
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D
And ready player 1 4k went on a flash sale for 6.50, might want to look out for that.
Why buy so many games though. Do you really have time to finish all of them? I can finish maybe one game a month

Should do xbox on third party you get better deals most of the time
It did? I didnt see a single game i wanted on sale this year.
my vgp orders are coming soon too soooo many sales
RE 4 remake is 19 on amazon i grabes that so fast lol
Are most PS5 games on the disk as compared to XBOX? Is that why people like collecting for PS5 before XBOX?
Have some restraint then..
I have the PS5 and Series X since launch day…. and every time I have the choice, I will buy the Xbox version. Even if it cost a little more. I have so many issues with Sony and their hardware. I will never trust them with 3rd party stuff again.
Interesting i have the opposite experience

@ Yeah, not only can you not compare but they are very different issues.
@ yeah i hope your ps5 issues get resolved! Happy gaming 🤝
Guy hasn’t played god of war but collects ps5? So confused here
Any of yall get sf6?
Prince of persia was great
Agreed. Loved that game.
Surprised you didn’t grab some SD cards for Switch 2. Though, if the doomers are right and it doesn’t release until holiday 2025 you can just grab ‘em this time next year. 🤷♂️
I thought about it, and I still might. But I kinda wanna wait until the 2TB cards are a liiiittle cheaper
bro what kind of job do you have to be able to buy all these games xd
These kinds of people spend all the money that have and leave nothing saved
Alan wake 2 is so much better than Silent Hill 2 remake. It’s such an auteur led game. Nothing else really like it.
Also with all your double dipping you’re going to end up like RGT who had a huge massive collection stored in bins. Not every game is worth owning just to have if you ask me. Backlog will never get cleared
Black Friday once again sucked! No good deals
This is the best Black Friday in the past 5-6 years at least lol
@ItsAMiiBo IMO Black Friday has sucked since Covid and online Black Friday started.
Spiderman 2 and Silent Hill 2 for $30 are great deals😊
@@carlosmelendez8317find some joy
@jimmyjay689 Yeah but compared to other years the deals were way better. Barely any games or physical media on sale.
