Interesting video idea, I’ve never really thought about this before. If I had to give games that I’m thankful exist, they are: •Oot 3D because it was my very first Zelda game •Botw because it was the first game I got with my switch and just love it •Metroid Dread for both happy it exists and sentimental bc it was a game that got me through my grandpa’s passing •Pikmin 4 for the fact it even exists I’d been wanting it for years •Persona 3 Reload because of how good it is (my favorite game ever btw) • Totk, which although still isn’t my favorite Zelda game, was what got me through my Grandma’s passing earlier this year • Minecraft because not only because of childhood nostalgia, but because it’s how I still connect with my friends to this day • Xenoblade 3 because it finally got me into Xenoblade and has such a good story
I had a feeling you were inspired by Femtrooper once I read that title! Great list by the way, and the one game I'm most thankful for is Mario Kart 7. Without it, I wouldn't have met my current friend circle of today! So I'm grateful for that 🙏
This is a solid list! Love how each game resonates with you in its own way and shaped your interests. Really got me thinking about what *i* would put if I had my own list like this
The way you described how you like black and white more than platinum reminds me of how I love X and Y because they were my first games however ORAS are my favorite games. Because I got to be there when it came out
I feel annoying sometimes with how much I talk about it but Xenoblade man. DE pulled me through depression and awful all-virtual freshman year, 2’s story changed how I think about things in games and life and 3 pushed me to join my school drama department which even after graduating theater has become my life.
Very thankful for pokemon omega ruby. It wasn’t my first pkmn game (white 2) but it was the first game i bought with my own money on release, im glad i still have my original copy. I’ve put over 500 hours into the game and loved every second of it, even with all my playtime theres still stuff I’ve never done or seen so i know i’ll always have a reason to come back and keep experiencing it
I know it’s cliche at this point but I’m thankful for playing Persona. It broadened my horizons with the potential of JRPGs, and UI, and I haven’t viewed those things the same ever since. I’m grateful I took the plunge into that franchise when I did.
Grateful for Pokemon Pearl, it’s my favorite Pokemon game and I have such fond memories of playing with friends in the underground at after school care. For me Pokemon is usually more of a solitary experience as I don’t do much online, but a lot of my friends had Pokemon Diamond or Pearl around that time and we all enjoyed playing together. Like you I was also a stupid teenager and sold my original copy of Pearl. I do still have my original copy of Platinum though, which I’m grateful for as well. I think Platinum is actually the only Pokemon game I kept from my childhood and didn’t sell in high school or early college. Next game I’m thankful for is Pikmin 3, for making me fall in love with both the Wii U and the Pikmin franchise. I had heard good things about the series and had been curious for a while but Pikmin 3 was the first Pikmin game I played. It’s also one of the first games I played on my Wii U after I got it in 2021 (very late adopter I know 😅). Lastly, not a game but I’m thankful for the Raleigh Retro Gamers community. Since moving to Raleigh NC a few years ago I haven’t made many friends since I’m an introvert and also work from home, but I found the Raleigh Retro Gamers Facebook group a few months after moving. They host buy/sell/trade markets every month or two, and it’s been a great way to grow my collection and also meet fellow collectors. It’s also been awesome to see how much the group has grown over the last 3 years, the first few events I went to were pretty small but now our larger events of the year draw thousands of people.
I am thankful to Nintendo for being that based, principled, level headed company that does what they think is right in the name of preserving the joyful nature of playing games, no matter what everyone else says, when other companies are chasing trends, filling their investor reports with buzzword, playing mind tricks on their players to try and get them addicted and milk them dry, and selling their soul to political activists for that sweet sweet DEI money. Thank you Nintendo, please never change. You are a beacon of light in the dark that developers can look at for inspiration and hope and one of the main reasons that this industry hasn't devolved yet into yet another decadent cess pool like Hollywood has.
I still gotta play emio! At least I own it physically now. Right now I'm thankful for ff7 remake because it has successfully gotten me into the jrpg genre finally.
@@ItsAMiiBo it's amazing, im about half way through and damn I love the setting, story, characters, hybrid combat, everything really. Speaking for other games though from the past I have to shout out super mario 64 ds, nsmb wii, dkcr, the galaxy games. I grew up on gba, ds and wii but my tastes were mostly mario related because that's just what I gravitated towards. I still love mario games today.
Hey Bo if you feel comfortable revealing this what do you do for a main source of income? You can be as vague as you'd like or not share at all. Just curious being you're able to put out multiple videos per day. Impressive upload schedule btw and much appreciated !
Thanks for the analysis! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Amazing video!!! Thanks for the response, I love it!!! Great picks!!!
I am thankful that you exist, Bo boy.

I'm thankful for the game dev and all the people who work on games AAA or indie dev
Thankful to Fire Emblem, Starcraft 1, and pokemon for very similar reasons you listed. As very grateful youtube steered me over to your channels !
Haha love the Kirby sweater😄
These are all such great picks Bo, Emio was my first FDC game and I love Dread to pieces.
@@jordanchicksen dread was amazing, I actually 100% completed it which I don't usually do unless I LOVE it lol
@ haha nice! I tried to 100% it but the hard mode is a little too hard for me to get sub 4hrs 🤣
@jordanchicksen I didn't do the mode either haha, just 100% on normal
@@NintendoMania ah nice! Same 🤣

Marvel vs Capcom collection im thankful for!
One of the best "collections" I think we got now
Emio and Another Code are my favorite games released this year.

Great video and story.
Nice sweater!

W for Metroid Dread AND BLOPS 2 on Wii U.
