So I’m not sure why I said that I’ve talked about herbs in so many video when in reality I’ve only mentioned them in 3 videos 😂 anyways I’ve linked some websites to get herbs as well as check Walmart! Since they sometimes stock the Rosewood brand you can maybe find the rosewood herb salads!
Victoria Raechel Etsy is great for herbs! Also you can get a ton from thehayexperts.co.uk ship as well. There is also a great website mountainroseherbs.com they have a great selection of organic herbs!
beaf steak no problem!! I am happy to help! :) They have an awesome selection ! I have tried TONS of herbs with my bunny. He really loves Bunificent’s herb mixes but they only sell pre mixed bags. There are lots of places for herbs! I can list more if you’d like. Thehayexperts is Definitely cheaper than a lot of other places that ship internationally. If you live outside the UK and want to place a large order, thehayexperts has a maximum international shipping weight of 2kg, so if shipping prices are not showing up when you check for an estimate, try removing some items from your cart one by one until it provides you with a shipping charge. And for Viovet, an order that weighs over 2kg will have MUCH higher shipping costs because anything over 2kg must be shipped differently, (probably due to needing more security involved) So if you break a large order into smaller orders that are under 2kg total, shipping will cost MUCH less! You will see that for Viovet, any order under 2kg will cost a flat rate of 10.00, but if you go over that maximum weight of 2kg, (even with just one more item) then shipping will jump to over double the cost! So smaller orders may save you money if you are looking to buy a bunch! It all goes by weight when shipped overseas! It definitely helps to look at the weight of what you are wanting to purchase. If you want a bunch of different items, keep an eye on the total grams per product when adding things to your cart! They also have tons of rosewood products, treats and toys! :)
@@ThumpersMama18 oh my gosh yes please do list them!! I live in Singapore and have been wondering where to get the herbs for foreverrr, I was also wondering about the 10 pound flat rate for viovet too!! I just ordered some herbs and treats from VioVet and was wondering why when I added certain items like toys, the 10 pound shipping fee disappears, that makes so much sense . Thank you so much!!!
I adopted my Syrian hamster Murphy about 2 years ago. After having him for a few months, my sister decided she was ready to get one too but sadly got him from petco. He came hone and he was lunging at us, he was hissing, and he was completely skittish. I decided something needed to be done immediately and I made him a 2 foot by 4 food melamine enclosure and filled it with bedding and all of his toys and it just seemed to stress him out even more. I later stumbled upon your natural cage videos and gave him a complete natural transformation using 4 different substrates minimum, attending reptile expos to collect cork wood tunnels and flats and grapevine, etc. He had a complete change in attitude and was thriving in this new environment and I am sad to say he did pass away earlier this year but if it weren’t for your suggestions I don’t think I would be able to safely say that I truly feel like he had a happy life.
@Jaiden Callihan Even robo hamsters need a bigger cage than a tiny tails can provide. I recommend upgrading to a bin cage or a tank, but that's just my two cents.
You packed a ton of information into this, Victoria! It's a great topic to talk about as natural setups seem to be increasing in popularity recently. It sure is fun watching hamsters exhibit their natural behaviors, in an enclosure, while still looking like they are out "in the wild." 🌿 🐹
I give my hamster 7 inches and he likes to make little caves and at the pet shop they told us to put in either a half inch of bedding or 1 inch and I’m just looking at him like he is crazy
Sheila k when I got my two guinea pigs the guy who was carrying them out TOOK THEM FROM THE BOTTOM AND CARRIED THEM UPSIDE DOWN AND SHOVED THEM INTO TH BOX ! I was furious and sad
When I got my hamster, they said that when we clean them out we have to take out ALL off the bedding. I was disappointed that they have made people think that it’s the right thing to do. The poor hammies 🥺
Quick story. Two years ago I walked into a Petco to get my first hamster. (I didn't know better) I saw the cutest little hamster ever, so I called a worker over to tell them that I picked my hamster. Surprisingly she asked me what cage I had, and I said I had a "pet palace hamster cage"😂 (only had 100 square inches of unbroken floor space 😡🙄). She said it was too small. She said that if I was on a budget that I should get a bin tote hamster cage. She then showed me a hamster group on Facebook I could learn more because she wasn't an expert. She also said that I could get an Ikea detolf, bc really large but not too expensive. But I didn't have space (sadly). So I got the hamster, and made a bin tote cage! Thanks to you Victoria, and the Petco worker, my first hamster current hamster would be living in a super tiny cage with like an inch of bedding! Thanks so much!

My hamster just got a 80 gallon natural tank and it is the best thing I have ever done for her she used to sleep all day and only come out at night to eat and drink and when I took her to the vet he told me that she was bored but now that I’ve made her a large natural enclosure she comes out so much more and just looks so much better physically. Thank you so much for this advice❤️❤️❤️
This video is so cute! A girl at my school gave my friend her hamster because “she didn’t want to take care of it anymore” and it came in a tiny tiny cage, pine bedding, not good food, a barred wheel, and the cage looked like it hadn’t been cleaned out in months! My friend asked me for help since she knew I had hamsters. I am making a bin cage for the hamster, we are buying proper food, more toys and paper bedding! Yay 😃

I love all the different types of natural cages. I finished converting my cage as best I could and my hammie loves it a lot. She has all sorts of little hiding spots and has created all sorts of trails to run on. She doesn't burrow no matter how deep I make the bedding. She digs down in the corner and pulls the bedding over top of her instead.
Thank you for all the help your videos have given me! When I first got an bigger cage and deeper bedding I did not see my ham then I called her and saw her poke her head out of a burrow, and I laughed. So thank you for all your help!☺️

it depends on their activity levels, if they're still active and not slowing down I would say they can benefit from scatter feeding but if they sleep a lot more and have a harder time getting around keeping it in the dish would be best.

My little guy has aboit 20cm of bedding (he had 15cm before) and he started to burrows everywhere not even using his hideout to sleep. So yes adding more bedding does change a lot regardless of what people think
Sprays are awesome, keeps little fellas very active and provide lots of fun not only for hammies - watching them pick every seed, one by one can be super cute and entertaining :) My hamster is crazy about them, especially flax. Great addition for hammies natural cage theme is also dry moss, if you havent tried it yet - we got it already in our "cage" and it is safe for hamsters, give this super natural look and with few tiny sticks can become live fence. Oh and it's comfy - caught my hammie on sitting on it while having food break, some pieces he use for nest as well :)
Yes! It's my favorite thing to watch because they're just so cute when they eat them! I actually have used some moss, it's definitely good for adding a bit more green to the enclosure!
38th like! I'm so early! By the way, a question: My hamster is used to me, but is still scared to be picked up, and when we are in the bath bonding, he tries to dig under the blanket, what can I do to solve this?
Hiiiiii you are literally the best UA-camr ever!! I love you and all your pets! I have been watching your videos for about 3 years now even though I don’t have any pets🤣 but I have been thinking about getting a hamster and i have been doing so much research about them and you give so much amazing information about them and you have amazing care!!❤️❤️ and thank you for making wonderful videos
my sister: does no research, gets advice from the pet store, uses COTTON nesting material, also uses a small store barred cage me: does research for a year and still don’t think it’s enough for a hamster
Haven't watched your vids in a while, but my hamster passed today, so i thought to look back on your channel for the cute hamsters (and the video topic itself)
So I havnt owned a hamster for a few years now, and while my care back then was good I want to be amazing now. I have the alexander cage (100x50cm uk cage) and I've extended the base up on one side for bedding (it still doesnt make 10 inches but I'm doing my best haha), I've ordered all wooden stuff from a variety of websites and ive ordered hay, moss and alot of seeds on their stems to use for my first time! I'm super super excited!
My hamster cage is a defo ika glass cabinet on its side . 1st 1/4is sand with 3 hides and pebbles to keep her claws worn. 2nd is coco fiber which has a wooden Bridge up to the next level and her 12inh wheel .3rd is meadow hay and beding .this is where her platform for her water bowl 4th is a mixture of organic soil meadow hay and bedding so that the soil dosent collapse behind her when she's digging tunnels topped off with coke bark tunnel and carpet moss . My little girl is loving it x

@@VictoriaRaechel cuttest thing ever if the seeds require reaching a lil bit higher ^_^ My hammie looks then like a tinny clumsy panda bear xD
38th like! I'm so early!
By the way, a question:
My hamster is used to me, but is still scared to be picked up, and when we are in the bath bonding, he tries to dig under the blanket, what can I do to solve this?
Its normal fur dem to dig in da blanket
It's pretty normal for them to dig under the blanket. You can put something heavy around the edges to help keep it down.
Thank you Victoria! Will make this setup for my newest girl, Coconut.
Yay!! I’m so exited!!

Cork logs from the reptile reaction of the pet store :)
Is that a mealworm at 2:50 ?
How often do hamsters eat those?
Yes, mealworms are my seed mixes main source of Protein so they get mealworms every second day basically.
Hamsters are omnivores
You are so creative I like, subscribe, hit the bell ,and shared
Thank you!!
Oh yess
My hamster cage is a defo ika glass cabinet on its side . 1st 1/4is sand with 3 hides and pebbles to keep her claws worn. 2nd is coco fiber which has a wooden Bridge up to the next level and her 12inh wheel .3rd is meadow hay and beding .this is where her platform for her water bowl 4th is a mixture of organic soil meadow hay and bedding so that the soil dosent collapse behind her when she's digging tunnels topped off with coke bark tunnel and carpet moss . My little girl is loving it x
