- Such an easy process and yet, we often leave our props with plain and ugly tips. Take 5 minutes and paint the tips. Your pretty rc plane will appreciate the efforts and who knows, it may make you a better rc pilot...
Thanks, good tip. 🚁
Excellent show Will ! I do some of that as well. You certainly got some fine, crisp lines with your paint! I also like to balance my prop along with this process. So if I need to add weight to a blade - I may repeat the process and give that blade a wee bit of extra paint. Then, for final balancing - I find that lightly sanding away some paint from the heavy blades can balance and finish the job. (I love the smoothness of a well balanced prop!)
No doubt.. I probably should've mentioned balancing the prop after the painting.. Maybe another quick shop tip... Thanks buddy...
Great job Will. I do this with mine too.
A Ballance video would be good👍🏻🇬🇧
Very nice Steffen! Thank you for sharing. 😊, Mark
No problem. I'm always trying to add content...
Great tip! Thanks.
Thanks.. Appreciate you watching..
After the masking tape, I use my wife's nail polish. It even comes with a little brush. Works great.
Hmmmm. Hot pink propeller tips.. I kinda like that....🤣
Nice Job looks good
Thanks 👍
Nice set of tips...
Ha.. I see what you did there.. I think I'll need to do another video on painting fancy multi striped tips...🤔
@@SteffenRC With glitter...so your wife knows you were at the tippy bar...er...flying field.
Is there any particular reason you are using the flat finish?
Nope.. Just what I had at hand.. Kinda like it vs gloss...
