I’m buying Yaira 1 because I think it will be good, not because women are the writers and illustrators.
Yaira is going to be lit. That is the one I want signed and graded.
I am most anticipating Yaira myself. I will be getting every series Rippaverse puts out but Yaira in particular the moment I saw her had me interested in a solo series for her. Heh hope she tosses more people on top of cars lmao

It's inspiring getting to watch a new comic book company besides the "Big 2" build a new universe of characters and stories with no agendas attached.
Most of us here weren't around for when the "Big 2" built their legacies, but we sure as heck are here to watch their sacrifice in the Altar of the Woke.

Takek itr you dont read comics then? Theres fucking thousands of independant comicbook labels all over the world with 100 x better writing and artwork than 'tHe BiG tWo' as you keep repeating like a sheep.
Rippaverse is already better than DC and Marvel.
It has the potential to be greater and I wish they will.... Obviously it can be at least way more consistent and less schizophrenic. And it hasn't to be bigger when it comes to size and number of characters, but just to be better. So far, I'm intrigued and very interested about Alphacore, Yaira and Blood Ruth. Isom, Goodyng and Norfrica as concepts are also interesting however, Eric & co should work on their designs, names and some other things to makes them look more iconic and able to stand out more.

Isom is not my style. Alphacore is the title I've been waiting for.
Knowing that a vet like Chuck is writing it gives me confidence that I will enjoy this title.
That is the whole point and even Eric has said himself. some folks will like Isom, others will gravitate to Alphacore or yaira etc. I think as they put out more series the fanbase will start settling in even more than already as every starts to allocate toward a certain one more or less than the other. This dude is slowly building a comic book empire similar to that of marvel and dc and I am all for it heh. perosnally I wanna invest in getting every rippaverse series yeah I am one of those fans. I like isom too but Yaira tho man I need. Hope you enjoy Alphacore btw I want that next since i have both Isom books.
@@Naglfar94 The best part is it's not like a crowdfund thing where if you don't get on it right away you're outta luck. I just now ordered Isom 2 myself, and it feels good to know that they're available after the campaigns.

I wonder how they're going to approach continuity in terms of making all the events make sense after multiple issue releases. Make no mistake. There will be restrictions because you can't just write whatever story you want when you have a shared world. That's the only thing I'm worried about.
That's one of my Favorite parts of Isom, is wondering how they will pull certain things like this off.

So excited for alpha core and so excited to see Dixon excited again. This man wrote the greatest Nightwing series of all time. I trust him entirely with this kind of a book.

Eric, let me start out by saying, I mean this with all due respect. You have got to start caring about how you look. You're interviewing Chuck Dixon, in person, and you look like you walked off of a basket ball court. No one is saying change who you are and start looking like a corporate lacky, but take some pride in how you present yourself. Shape your beard up, use beard oil , get a clean fade and put on some nice clothes. You're not a bum and we are no longer in lockdown. I shouldn't have to say this, your inner circle should be holding you to a higher standard. Especially whoever is in charge of your PR.

I heard about him not being able to take constructive criticism, and it's clearly evident here. Kudos on keeping the tone in your writing respectful. This angry black man has a lot to learn, unfortunately. I like Chuck, but I'm not giving my money to a project who has a CEO that's this loose lipped with the people in his comments.
