You are not lying I am 59 will be 60 December 2, all praise to the Most High, I been through it, got my Passport renewed in September. I am ready for opportunities , venture etc...
I've found the African culture of interdependency a bit challenging. The idea that when you have people expect you to just give them; even when you don't have. Africans need to negotiate a lifestyle that encourages self sufficiency. We just can't be begging or expecting a bribe of some sort. It leaves some people feeling short-changed and used. Also, it is possible to live a minimalist selfsufficient lifestyle in Africa but somehow people don't seem to be creative enough to do that
What’s crazy to me…is Africa is the richest continent on earth. Africans can dig in their back yards, and find precious gems, gold, silver, copper, cobalt…etc. We are the descendants of Tribe of Judah. Africa cursed itself, once they sold Jesus’ bloodline to the colonizers. Now, they suffer…without realizing that if we all come together…NOTHING (but Yah) would be able to stop us!
America is my home and l have visited Ghana many times and its a very peaceful Country but its not comparable to how good you can live in the USA. Issues in Ghana is infrastructure, very bad roads, and most not paved and the ones that are paved lacking upkeep. The price of food in their grocery stores are priced above the prices in America.
You're right. These Pan Africanist never tell you why so many Africans are fleeing Africa. And if they don't wanna be in their own Countries isn't that a Red Light? And as a Freedman Black American I'm not Oppressed, Struggling, Or A Victim Of Racism. I don't have that Whoa is me Victim's mentality, my ancestors worked in fought and died for America and this is where I'm staying. The only way I'd visit the " Black Diaspora" is as a Tourist I'm not interested in no Citizenship or staying.
Black Americans deserve so much respect and honor for all their accomplishments and for the struggles that they survived.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 One love from Jamaica.
I have always been dubious of the notion of blacks going to Africa seeking economic, social, and political freedom when those same Africans are leaving Africa in greater numbers seeking the same. Africa is a colonized continent still and we must get past the notion that Africans are free, just like us they live in confinement with European imposed limitations. They are no freer than we are here. Africa as it stands now, was constructed for the benefit of neo-colonialization for resource extraction and European clandestine global domination. Thank you for your honesty and courage.
As an African person I understand, but to my Black American brothers and sisters we welcome you with love and open arms. We welcome you, we welcome Haitians, Jamaicans, Barbadians, any Black person of the diaspora must realize Africa is your 2nd home and you must claim it. America is also not easy, but Id rather be here in Africa than elsewhere.
Black Americans and our ancestors fought too hard for everything in this country to give it up. I will continue to travel but I am not moving to any country in Africa. My home is here.
The smart play for Black Americans is to invest in African economies. Just like The Jewish Community invests in Israel. They actually organize spending trips to Israel. They gather dozens of wealthy members of their community together and they travel there with the goal being to spend money and support the economy. That's the least we can do. Beyond that we would be smart to launch businesses there. Partner with local entrepreneurs, provide funding, set up consulting firms, get involved in lobbying efforts that encourage opening the American economy to African businesses, set up student exchange programs with HBCU's etc.
You are right. We deserve better! A place that gives us a sense of community and acceptance and peace of mind ( I can't stress on peace of mind enough). A place we can just flow as a melanated people. Some of us are financially successful and live in posh neighborhoods in DamErica but can't find that space of joy; always fighting just to be. I don't have to sacrifice creature comforts to gain those things as a person. I deserve every bit of them at my age. Africa can offer and has offered me those qualities and space to fully actualize my life. In Kenya 🇰🇪 , I am loved and I just flow.

I'm going to exclude ES and Vin man from my response because I saw something different in her trials and tribulations. Not saying that she never did or said certain things, but the majority of these youtubers on the back to Africa journeys were all on the same trip, many would not have survived if not for donations, godfundme's, selling scam-like consultations, boosting their own businesses and hiding issues, doing raffles and the most egregious things 99.9% of them are guilty of is, lying, hiding, and minimizing harmful truths including goblack. It's good some are being honest now but just think about the people who lives may have been ruined believing them and hardly any of them are taking accountability for lying, scheming and providing disinformation for selfish gains.

I used to be involved with a church where the pastor at that time in his life, wrote a book named there is no failure in us. We don’t fail at anything be it bad or good we don’t fail at it!
But the Citizens in those countries are suffering from infrastructure issues, bad roads, poor drainage system, Malaria issues, high price of food, and if you want a nice place you will be paying much higher prices. Worst part of all lack of good paying jobs or lack of jobs.
@@edwingross9778I can’t help but think that these are all excuses. I can create an even longer list of reasons not to stay in America as a Middle Aged black man.
@Sci-Fi_Fan296 l been on the African Continent 2 years, it's only good for retirees that either have social security income, pension or lots of money in the bank. Because you have to spend good money to live how you living in the USA. It's not worth it if you don't have any income and coming to the Continent for a job to make pennies on the dollar.

Countries like, Senegal, benin Republic, Togo also Nigeria, welcomes AA's in a different way and you won't hear em loud it,and our AA bro/Sis are warmly welcomed and doing great stuffs in those countries silently. Compare to those ones that over blown the campaign of reunification.
Yep, just sit and observe…the real person always show up, the mask is what and who we meet first. And we need to learn to work on ourselves. It took me five years to understand, I’ve been alone since that time, and all I can say…I have been by myself since then and once you work on yourself and become aware. You see things at a very different perspective and you learn more about life and how we make our own happiness. And yes, you will notice most things and toxic people, you don’t have time or the capacity to deal with things they don’t serve your true purpose or that are hazards to your worth.
Why is it when people finally start understanding the MEANING OF LIFE we are accused of being crazy? Just because a person haven't found their way. We who have found the path are now crazy.
‘Africa is not ready for me’. Maybe you’re not ready for Africa 🤔. Africa is a HUGE Continent made up of MANY, many large and small Countries and it is very different from Country to Country (very different within those regions/States within those Countries). Some of the most beautiful, developed, cultural, business orientated, creative, artistic and technologically savvy environments and ‘opportunities’ exist within Africa as a Continent both in the North, West, South & East Africa. That’s why it was r*ped and plundered historically by Europeans because it had ample of what the West never had. Massive resources. There’s a reason why the Chinese want to invest and set up shop in Africa because they see the HUGE opportunities and lifestyle. It’s quite arrogant I think to make such a sweeping and denigrating statement that Africa, as if it is a monolith, isn’t ready for you. Maybe you’re just not ready for Africa? Africa is a Continent where only the strong, resilient & creative survive and THRIVE, no matter what their status is in life!
Well said. Am South African and am shocked too. Clearly the man never did proper research on Africa before moving. People even commenting that the African citizens struggle with Malaria etc. Never had Malaria my entire life, nor anyone I know.
@@ShirleyChaptythe majority of Africans do have negative experiences with Malaria. That's why it has been the number one killer on the continent for decades. Just because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean that it isn't a problem in the majority of Africa where "majority" does not indicate totality but the larger part. Two things can be true at the same time.

As a retired Educator who poured my life into forty five years of looking out for our youth in our community. I loved watching and listening to you throughout the years. I was BLESSED to visit Five countries in Africa, after visiting Europe and realizing I want to see the places of both my GrandFathers birth.
I fell in love with Africa!!!!
But when I made it to Ghana to do an Artist Collaborative. Being called an Abruny=Obruunee!
I was in total shock about being charged way more money than the locals in order to gain access to various places. The list goes on.
You are absolutely correct about not having male protection and representation if we plan to relocate. My Husband said, "No! We are American and no matter where we go....we will always be viewed as Americanas!
The race is not 4 the swift
But 4 those who can endure.

you are so right about that, Marcus Garvey said a long long time ago that Africa is not for everyone, because they will be useless there as there are useless here,
That's his point

Your selection is your reflection. Powerful word and so true.👑💯🙏❤️👑
The Hebrews wanted to go back to Egypt because of food and stuff.......
The only way I'd visit the " Black Diaspora" is as a Tourist I'm not interested in no Citizenship or staying.
the food prices are high only if you shop for imported food. Local food is much cheaper than anywhere in the western world
If you wanted infrastructure you should have went to South Afrika.
You are right but the food in America is not healthy it’s like poison
We have endured so much! I lived through all of the 1960’s
i can only imagine....lord have mercy
Black Americans deserve so much respect and honor for all their accomplishments and for the struggles that they survived.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
One love from Jamaica.
I have always been dubious of the notion of blacks going to Africa seeking
economic, social, and political freedom when those same Africans are leaving Africa in greater numbers seeking the same.
Spiritual growth is key🗝...ever growing, ever evolving. You'll be able to deal with any environment or personality✊
GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER 🙏🏾 👊🏾 💪🏾 ✊🏾💜

As an African person I understand, but to my Black American brothers and sisters we welcome you with love and open arms. We welcome you, we welcome Haitians, Jamaicans, Barbadians, any Black person of the diaspora must realize Africa is your 2nd home and you must claim it. America is also not easy, but Id rather be here in Africa than elsewhere.

Man, I'm 58 and this is where I am also "we deserve better ,"
That would be me! 55 and older!
Me too
I would like to rent one of your spaces in Tanzania.
As a retired Educator I would still like to explore more countries in the MotherLand
Profound msg. Indeed, we choose from where our minds are. Halleluyah for the growth and development stages that come with age and experience.❤
Exactly
55 years old -Ethiopia 🇪🇹home build..
Facts ‼️, most I’ll do is run a business there
You fight for this country then it's a losing battle white on every industry
Facts!!! I’m am American, this is MY HOME💯💛
Amen 🙏
You are right. We deserve better! A place that gives us a sense of community and acceptance and peace of mind ( I can't stress on peace of mind enough). A place we can just flow as a melanated people. Some of us are financially successful and live in posh neighborhoods in DamErica but can't find that space of joy; always fighting just to be. I don't have to sacrifice creature comforts to gain those things as a person. I deserve every bit of them at my age. Africa can offer and has offered me those qualities and space to fully actualize my life. In Kenya 🇰🇪 , I am loved and I just flow.
Im 35 GB2A, and ive been thru so much trauma here in DamErica. I cant do it anymore. Looking to relocate asap.

Bag family ,Es and Vim man T3 and me and they're more doing a great job and making it
I'm going to exclude ES and Vin man from my response because I saw something different in her trials and tribulations.
You don't know that...I just got back

I used to be involved with a church where the pastor at that time in his life, wrote a book named there is no failure in us. We don’t fail at anything be it bad or good we don’t fail at it!
Africa is huge, it's 🎉not only Ghana. You can find other countries in the mother land to fit in.
Trust me the list is very long I'm just pointing out the obvious things. I'm not saying it doesn't work for you I'm just saying people gonna be shocked coming from western countries to see sum.of the ways the poor have to live here in places with no running water or toilets in a box built structures hidden all around the metro.
Shalom my brother!
God gave you an entire earth to live on. Just because people decided to call you "african american" doesn't mean you have to live in Africa.

And what’s that?
Yes. It is. Ghana is no longer it, for us. Considering Uganda.
😂 just stay out of africa. Jumping from one third world country to another wont help
Don't mean to derogate or undermine Ghana, but most AA that goes there actually don't know that ghana it's a mirage of what they campaign for the black race, the African countries who don't campaign home coming are the ones that actually have the soft landing for our AA bro/Sis! ✌
many countries In Africa no longer for u guys.
@@jesuspower2390 nah, that ain't true.
That's real talk my brother keep doing what you doing me the most high keep you.
Amen and stay blessed!

Too many churches and tribes are confusing in Africa for me not to mention scammers. No ty,
This was a powerful and on point comment. Point taken and properly articulated.
Well said. Am South African and am shocked too. Clearly the man never did proper research on Africa before moving. People even commenting that the African citizens struggle with Malaria etc. Never had Malaria my entire life, nor anyone I know.
This statement was on point! 😊
You have done it again Mr. I Love how you do reflection on matters that concerns us all as society.😊

it is wise
to remember
different soils produce
different crops in
that fast turnover heavily mixed soil
with additives
usually makes a fast crop
but
that mostly just one type
of soil
takes more patience
than is available at times
so only the very very patient can
handle waiting on those crops
