I am a Hispanic senior who has danced salsa, which runs through my veins, for 40 years. I recently "discovered" your channel and I like it because of it's slow way of detailing all the steps and proper technique. Congratulations and continue the good work!
I'm trying to run in salsa by learning The Walk! What an excellent video- the verbal explanations are just as important as the visual demonstration. I really love the way you go over moves slowly several times, teaching not only what to do, but also explaining why. And the bits of humour also help one to remember the lesson. Thank you Salsaventura for these excellent educational videos!
Lovely combination, excellently explained and illustrated. They say you should learn to walk before you can run, but the Walk seems to me to be running! With the help of this video I intend to learn The Walk and test it out on the dancefloor.
Very detailed lesson shared with the community, you are an excellent teacher sir. Salsa is so sexy and relaxed, ballroom dancers have trouble making the transition because of the so called "proper" training that is instilled into the us. All this is coming from a Puerto Rican ballroom dancer who danced a great part of his life. Viva Salsa!
@@salsaventura when i want to determine which level for a dance move i see, i ask experts not beginners , coz they are the standards in dance world .. check the intermediate videos in UA-cam and you will know what i mean
@@hawyallayl this is a intermediate level move, the only reason it look like a beginner move is because he is breaking it down on really slow music. I can guarantee that 95 percent of beginners would not be a able to lead this on the dance floor. And intermediate level people about 50 percent would lead and follow this pattern correctly.
@@hawyallayl and i would say no beginner is able to do a good reverse cross body lead.. so this should not be for beginners.. i agree its not very hard but its not for beginners
