    Either you didn’t have enough rain at the right time, or you didn’t do a soil sample and add the appropriate amendments. That corn didn’t tassel. Deer don’t typically eat corn until the corn is closer to finishing.

      I can assure you three soil wasn't the issue and all necessary steps were taken. Deer absolutely hammer corn BEFORE tasseling. It's all over even on the farmers fields prior to tasseling.

      @@TeamRadical if they hammer corn stalks post a picture of stalks being eaten. I don’t think that’s the case. That looked like the weeds took over. A solar fence will not fix anything.

    All depends on your areas first frost date, then back it off 30, 60 days and plant then. 'Midwest' is as generic as it gets and if I was to plan late Aug/Early Sept I would get 1" plants.

      Correct, again depends on your location as stated in the video. Lots of ppl in our general area have been planting since early/mid July. Way to early.
