    Great video.
I run mostly Brownings and Alpha Cameras and a few Boly White Flashes in our jungle in Costa Rica. They all do a great job. The Alpha Cams are located in Kansas I believe. They have great customer service, in my opinion.

We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Tasco's are pretty impressive for what they are, seem to be super reliable, great battery life, etc, etc. However they seem to have the harshest flash of anything I've used, definitely the most flash reactions of any cameras I've run.

Good video. For budget cameras the tasco can't be beat imo, I can put out 2 or 3 times more for the same price and quality is on par with other high priced cameras. Ive used them many season and they just work. Battery life is fantastic also which is very important with the price of batteries. Features is where they lack if you want field scan or something which I never use anyways. This goes for 8mp and 12mp at 28$ and 38$ making them very gard to beat.

Check out the muddy mtc100x 14mp from academy. It’s usually at $30 so right at the tasco price and you get a lot better quality and more reliable camera. Also the trigger speed is spot on. I had a couple tasco only catch the back half of deer the couple years I ran them. Switched to primarily those cheaper muddy and that’s all I recommend now to guys especially public land.

Anything but Browning! I bought couple of there higher end models and will not take videos or night photos, daytime they work but extremely grainy. Checked to see if they needed updates nope. Called customer service and they literally replied oh well!!!!

The same thing happened to me last week. The photos the camera were taking were grainy and the color was too light. I emailed the photo to Browning asking how to set the camera so the photos would be better. The response was "They're supposed to look like that." Huh? I returned the camera.

Dude you have to pick up the muddy MTC100x 14mp. For $30 it beats out the tasco cams and is super reliable I’ve been running them non stop last 3 seasons and love them. I think they’re actually better than the muddy pro cams. Like I said for $30 at academy they can’t be beat. I also think that rural king runs a deal around Christmas 4 cams for $100 I run about 15 of them and love them. I agree on stealth cams I’ll never buy another one they crap out on me all the time.

My dad had about 8 tasco 8mp cameras. they've stayed out in the woods for about 6 years straight just went in to change batteries and sd cards. This year they are starting to die but 6 years in the woods is a long time. Got them around $20 usd at Walmart 6years ago. 1 camera is still working but the other 7 have stopped working just this year.

Bought a couple tascos last night. Come to find out the jpgs from those cameras are not formatted to MacOs so you have to download a 3rd party app to even look at the photos unless you're on windows os. Returning them. Love my moultries but 2 have been stolen in the past few years so looking to get something a bit cheaper for public.

My brother found a 4 pack of simmons model 119504TSC at tractor supply on clearance for $40. 12mp. Runs on 4 AAs and they last a long time. Takes decent photos. The videos are decent quality but when you play it back sometimes they get a little choppy. #1 complaint red flash.

Been using the same Covert cams I stocked up on in 2015-2018 at Fishermans Warehouse. The only one that stopped is the 3G cam and that’s because they’ve turned off 3G. Built to last, built like a tank.

I am a tasco fan and have ran the 8mp cameras for 3 years. I can validate that they do fail after a few years. I started with 10 and I am down to 2. That may sound bad and it is but the reason they fail is because I have a lot of black bears in my area. 6 of 10 were torn apart by bears. Two failed internally. One of those just wont function anymore and the other wont accept any SD cards regardless of formatting. Long story short.... I run the cheaper $30 camera due to destructive bears. The other two I have are still going strong. I just got a video of a 140" 8 point on it this month. Theres no sound for video and no additional weather features in time stamp. The straps wear out after 3 years of constant use. The image quality is probably a 6 or 7 out of 10 but they do go through batteries faster. I use them because 75% of my cameras don't make it past a year. I usually buy 5 or more ever year to replace what the bear took out the previous season. That being said, I also run Cuddeback cell cams in bear boxes. They are doing well. Tasco is what I run on deep public where I only check every few months. Less to worry about if one is stolen or chewed apart.

Dude don’t throw all your cameras in a box at the end of a season and then expect them to work. You have to take care of them like all your other hunting gear. I’ve had the same trail cameras for years still working. Your favorite STEALTH CAM.

The 8MP tasco cameras have been working great for me. Pair them with a good lithium battery, I’ve had 6 in the woods since November (it’s now may). Great pictures, good video. I haven’t had a failure yet. The 12MP tascos video did not work on all 4 I bought. The video skipped and had lines through the picture I would stay away from those but maybe I got a bad batch who knows. Great video! I hear a lot of good things about the browning cameras. Will you do or do you have a video on cell cams?

    • @hughwells6938

I had the same issue with tascos on video mode in the past. Videos skipped and had lines going through them. I’ve bought 7 or 8 8mp tascos this spring and they have performed flawlessly on video mode thus far. I’m not sure if they have upgraded/worked the kinks out or if I purchased a bad batch 3 or 4 years ago. Tascos are hard to beat for the money and fantastic battery life on public land

I need a trail cam that can capture license plates at 150ft at night and enough storage to run for a few days without me resetting it as me going to the woods to mess with it might tip off the crackheads. and suggestions on trail cams would be great. thanks

Great video. I have a bunch of the Wildgame Terra ( i have about 15 of these ) and 1 Hex or Shadow, The little mini one is Great ( Love it ) the Terras are good for the $$ and they take GOOD pics, but i have a few that have issues now. . Also i have some older Moultrie like the M-880 and these for the $$ back then are still going strong, . And the reason i go with these is lower budget cameras is, they work Nice for the cost , and my income, and i hunt some public land here in the Pa woods and as it would still hurt to have 1 taken, it won't be as bad as my daughters, Covert stuff. Maybe do a video with the Wildgame Terra and a few others even the Hex and Shadow in that company also. And i seen a reply below, the Tasco. Seems the Tasco and Wildgame Terra are close to the same $$ on sale. Thanks again for the Great video

I absolutely LOVE the Browning cameras!! I was a very staunch Moultrie guy for a long time... But no more.. WAY too many false triggers. And saying 'WAY too many' is an understatement!
My go to cameras are the Dark Ops series.. Any of them really. Although I don't think the Max HD Plus is that great (I have two and one eats batteries). The Max HDs are just fine though. The ones I have the most of are the Dark Ops 940 and the Dark Ops Apex. I really love the Apex cameras. They are small and easy to camo up for hiding purposes. I will buy every Apex I come across.
One tip: If you don't have to have the "Latest and greatest" models.. Buy ones from a few years back, especially "New old stock". Any problems the cameras may have had are worked out in the later runs of the model (if they do more than one run). It is very easy to find $150+ retail cost cameras for 20-50% off.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! I want to buy a trail cam but I haven't figured out which one to buy and I've been looking at them for the past month! I thought the E6 was the way to go because it's got everything I need... I need Bluetooth so I can put pictures directly from the camera onto my phone cuz I don't use a computer... I'm kind of lost as far as if I need Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. I thought Bluetooth is what I needed in order to hook it to my phone and transfer pictures / videos. Also has to have time lapse mode, built in screen, clear pictures day and night without a visible flash at night time and clear audio, I don't know if this is available but I would like to be able to control it from my phone if I'm in range and make it record when I tell it to whether it be a picture or video/audio that would be nice. I'm going to probably end up using it mostly for security/surveillance type of applications. I want to make sure it take the picture at the right time to get whatever it is in screen... I watched and I saw someone said the Gu
gardepro E8 constantly was taking pictures where you wouldn't see what was tripping it and on top of that it was extremely grainy blurry pictures if it was up close and they said the E6 was it not blurry up-close as well as didn't miss what it was supposed to take the picture of and a few other things but it seemed like the E6 was much better than the E8. Also it has to be under a hundred bucks preferably closer to 80 or below. I saw the E6 on Amazon for like a hundred bucks and then it had a coupon attached to it where would come out to be around 70 or $80. Anybody who could help me figure out which one I should buy I'd highly appreciate it! I really want to order it and get it ASAP I wanted it like 2 weeks ago but I don't want to get the wrong one

The review of the cameras was quite good. Showing your killed animals on the end makes it completely vulgair. Also corpses heads on the wall raises questions of mental stability. Not judging, just expressing my feelings; the questions that raise. Yes the vulgair part is judgemental, which it is. I actually need a trail camera just to observe and amaze, not to kill. So thank you for sharing anyway.
