Many different designs for each type of project are also included. Choose whatever type of shed or storage house is right for you. Pick from fancy ones or more utilitarian designs.
You two are awesome young people. I can't say enough how gratifying it is to watch young people like yourselves do what you do. Your parents did such a fabulous job raising you and I'm sure are so proud. Please tell them on my behalf, 'thank you' for having great kids. Side note: Marry that girl. She's a keeper.
I'd designed a media center a year or so ago that looks pretty much identical to yours and had plans on doing sliding barn doors just like yours. You solved a few of my engineering problems with this video. I'd originally planned on using 1/8" flat bar steel for the top track and door brackets, but I never would have thought to use aluminum - so much easier! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you guys, you are great! For me is incredible see very young people being creative and also sharing with others what they know. My 5 year old daughter is watching with me this video, and you are a great example to her. Also, your video is very easy to understand. Claudia :)
You guys are adorable… So young and so talented! Great job! I have one of these but I surely didn't make it myself! I'm gonna start out easy and making an entryway bench! First time visitor!
I'm thoroughly impressed by the quality of everything on this video. Very well shown, documented, narrated, etc. You kids are going to do very well at whatever you choose to do in life and a shout out to your parents for raising such good and mature children. Congrats on an awesome instructional video.
Nice job guys. Great to see young people taking an interest in actually building something. I like the piece. Just did one myself although on a bit higher line. I have a couple of suggestions. ALWAYS wear protective gear. Respirator when painting, gloves, especially when working with acetone, & safety glasses. Your young so if you start now, it will become a habit and you will be much healthier. Also, check the screws you used to hold the track on. If they stick through the back side it could be a problem for potential injury if some one was to reach up in there. Keep up the good work.
Just bought the plans. Thank you. I plan on making a few adjustment and making X bracing for 9 bottles of wine in each cubby. Keep up the good work kidos!
Love how you take care with all the little details I find that very important also , beautiful piece , very well made . I'm working on a cabinet for my daughter that will have a sliding barn door . I'm finding the glide and wheels placement more than alittle intimidating .
Awesome work!!!! Ya'll make quite a team!!! Love woodworking!!! Self taught!!! So thanks for the inspiration!!! I got the idea!!!off the vid!!! Now just waiting for cooler weather here in Texas to give it a go!!!
Love entire build. I'd change the ends of the slider though, don't like the curve to grab anyone passing by. I'd fuse another piece of alum and bolt it to stop the wheel rolling. Just my preference. You guys are totally awesome!!!
Thanks a lot you two because i got an order for same piece and the hardware for the doors was too costly more than what i was charging. Thanks again. Great job.
You guys made it look so easy. My wife has been hounding me for some doors like this. I've been looking at the kits for those and they are expensive. Goons have to use your video as a reference. Good job.
Good to see young people out of their digital world....!!...Great Job ...Keep it up...all the BEST. Did you use any roller or sliding hardware for bottom channel?
Just subbed man. My little brother said he met you guys, and where y'all are from. I live in Baldwin County as well. That's super cool. Great vibes from the channel. I need to get back at UA-caming and better editing. You guys rock 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks absolutely amazing.....would have like the ends and corners to be bull nosed (rounded) and the aesthetic would be greater improved if the bottom track cannot be seen, I would have attempted using a router so the bottom track could not be visible. But gee whiskers you are so so talented, I hope my comments don't offend because your work is truly brilliant.
Wondering about centering the wheels on the vertical cross section of the doors so they hang vertically. You're using a bottom track which helps keep the door parallel to the cabinet. I don't plan to use a bottom rail and my doors are being made from real 140 year old barn wood which is 1 inch think. Therefore, with the stiles, the door will be 2 inches thick where the wheel brackets will be mounted. As such, for the door to hang perfectly vertical I believe I will need to make my bend so the wheels end up being right in the center of the 2 inch thick door. Make sense?
I am currently building an entertainment center out of Hickory and I really wanted to see how someone else mounted the door track at the bottom. Nice job, looks nice, liked the video.
what type of wheel did you use? and where did you get it? and what was the width of the alumanim (sp) did you get...Also was their wheels under the doors to glide on that track you installed? what type of wheels did you use?
Nice job on the build. My only comments would be that with little children in the house those end stops could have been taken out and a nut and bolt with a small spacer used as a stop. And round off the bottom track at the ends as well or even a small wooden block at the ends to cap those sharp ends. sub'd as I want to watch your progression. Thumbs up!!
Great looking cabinet. Out of curiosity how is the finish holding up with that style wheel sliding back and forth on it? Gained another sub though. Looking forward to watching your other and future videos!
Great Job. It's a very clean looking cabinet. I like the aluminum for the lightness it adds to the project. Painting it was a great idea as well. Continued success. BTW how did you build the dog?
Question I need to find a barn door bar or plank that onky measures 56" i can only find 60" will not work do you know where or if I have to make my own what do I start with ?
Here's one that has multiple sizes and bypass hardware for one door: amzn.to/3m5jjGv (affiliate link) If you want to build your own, we have plans here: www.woodbrew.tv/product/barn-door-hardware-plans/ but basically, you can get an aluminum flat bar and cut to your desired size!

Most impressive and very, very resourceful - accomplishing a project with minimal tools and equipment, and achieving very pleasing results. Thank you.
Glad you like it!

Guys this was really impressive for two young individuals to do on their own. Good job.
Thanks Jake:)
I'm a wood worker as well at the age of thirteen and I am impressed by yalls work

Im glad you went over how to make the hardware. Th peice is absolutely gorgeous.
+Justin Levine thanks!!
I am glad I found this. Great plans. I have built almost the same console and didn't want to have to purchase oversized hardware. This is perfect!
Hey Fred! So happy to hear that☺️ Email us if you ever have any questions!
Omg these two kids are amazing!
well done, exactly what we needed here at home, where we want to get rid of normal doors on our pantries...
Keep on trucking ! (from France)
Heck yea! Thanks!

Wow, that really looks fantastic!!! I love the industrial look combined with the rustic wood top. Great job!
Thank you so much! This style really seems to be in right now!
Beautiful craftsmanship, nicely explained and demonstrated - two thumbs up!
Fantastic work! Now I need to roll my sleeves up and get to work!
Thank you!! :)
Thanks a lot you two because i got an order for same piece and the hardware for the doors was too costly more than what i was charging. Thanks again. Great job.

Great project and video! Very easy to follow.
Thanks! I'm glad it was easy to follow. It always seems easy when you build it, but it's hard to pass the info along to someone else.
Very good video. Thanks!
cleaver idea to use sliding doors on this project build
‼️Thank You ‼️ that is awesome ‼️great idea ‼️
great vid less shaky better.

Awesome job guys!
+Ken on the run thanks Ken!
What kind of rollers did you use? Also was the bottom track just a guide for the bottom on the doors?
Perfect. Thank you for sharing!
great project there.
Really good job! Clear explanations. What I'm missing is where did you find those nice big wheels and how are they attached to the U in the strap?
Very nice. Just wondering if the roller will peel off the paint work over time. But anyway i still like it.
Nope :) Thanks!
Awesome job!
Are the wheels just patio door replacement hardware? Did you spray paint the wheels also?
Nice project. Keep up the good work. subbed

Hi, Great video. Nice looking cabinet. I wonder if you could tell me where you got the casters for the barn door rollers? Thanks.
Will do. Thanks.
Good job
Very clever!

Beautiful job, building as well as video presentation. Where did you get the wheels?
Thanks! They are Patio door wheels. Most home centers have them:)

Thanks Guys, what sort of wheels did you use? Going to try this on a small door way hope it works love from Trinidad & Tobago
R lalchan Vine point fortin massive.. big up trini
R lalchan Vine I check a few hardwares near me but can't find the wheels. You should probably check bhagwansinghs or any other big hardware
I've checked Bhagwansinghs and didn't see any. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. Try the new place on the Cross in Sando, Allied Home Center

+blackemmons there's a few nicks here and there but a little sharpie makes them completely disappear
