It's thoughtful of the Enterprise's HR team (seems to be Riker and Troi) to station most of the ugly-faced aliens in the nacelle tube where the rest of the crew don't have to look at them.
I especially love how every screen and power conduit on the ship are made of refined explodium, so at the first sign of damage they violently explode killing anyone nearby.
*Okay, I disagree with the narrators, because Worf & Troi physical relationship did happen, let's just overlook Troi's encoded obsession with chocolate, the only event that we all know is a hallucination of Deanna is her killing worf.*
11:42 Previous episodes with the Traveller and Where No Man Has Gone Before have established that at the level of subspace, thoughts and reality are one in the same. Robert: I wanna quit now…Don’t put that in. Nick: (Puts it in) 😂 I think you’ll find that Season 7 was uneven because they really seem to put most of their effort into the final episode, which to me is extremely well done.
It was also because the braintrust took on too many projects and spread themselves thin. Simultaneously you had the last season of TNG, the fledgling (and struggling a bit) DS9, development of Voyager, and development of the movie franchise.
I've got hair like that if I don't get a good cut. Unfortunately, back in the 90s, there wasn't much decent product around for our type of hair, so we ended up looking like a big bit of floof. In the event of a long-term zombie apocalypse, and for months, I couldn't do anything with my hair, I'd be able to capture and hide birds in it.
You guys totally missed what the traces of cellular residue were. Guy murdered his girlfriend and hides her in a wall. Then he stays aboard the ship for the entirety of the show. He undoubtedly was visiting the crime scene frequently. Now when Killers revisit the crime scene what are they doing?
Wow they’ve had Warden Norton and Boggs as guest stars on here…. All they need is Captain Hadley and they’ll have all the villains from the Shawshank Redemption lol.
Shawshank and Star Trek are in the same universe. Remember when Andy shacked up with a young science-fiction writer called Benny, just before Billy boy made his ascension.
You can't nit pick anything in this episode as it all happened in Troi's mind, so it technically didn't happen. Imagine if Troi and Worf got together and had children (like in Parallels), their off-spring would be part-Warrior, part-Empath. So they could bat'leth you to death, and feel your pain at the same time. 😱
I remember "Boggs" creeped me out when I first saw this episode, watching Shawshank Redemption later didn't help matters either. Well cast part, he probably loved it!

So you can just open a door and see directly into the nacelle plasma energy and not get exposed to deadly radiation? There’s no shield up because we see a guy just jump right into the stream. So high energy plasma isn’t putting out deadly radiation despite tritium being a waste product of the reaction?
So did they find skeleton or the body. Because if they found skeleton, it means body already decomposed. Which should be immediately picked up by sensors - rising levels of methane and other gases, bacteria in rotting flesh - how that was missed on a starship ?

This is not so much Picard's first suicide as it is just his first SUCCESSFUL suicide, and that's only if you don't count visitors who left the ship to kill themselves (which happened at least twice). Worf attempted suicide at least twice. Riker shot himself when he thought he was going mad. Picard himself started the self-destruct countdown in "Where Silence Has Lease". Probably some others I can't remember yet.
