- quick video i filmed to show how easy it is to remove the rear diffuser on the F10 bmw 5 series. the bumper in the video is a M package OEM, but should be the same for non m package. total time to remove and install is about 20 minutes. required so special tools, 10mm for plate bolts, and the plastic rivet remover can be removed with tool or fingers just be careful.

where did you get the CF diffuser? does it fit on F10, 2014 550i since F10 sedans chassis are same for all.

Yo do you have to use screws on the bottom when putting your diffuser on? My diffuser doesn’t have holes just clips. Should I make holes...? Or should I just put it on

nice tutorial video. does your BMW have comfort access, where you can just wave your feet underneath the diffuser with your keys nearby, and the trunk opens automatically? if so, did the new diffuser affect the comfort access functionality?
No comfort access. Comparing the CF diffuser and stock I don't see any parts being blocked off. I've heard of issues when people use M5 diffusers on mpackage bumpers. Although their the same bumpers the plastic piece behind the diffuser is different.

Eddie Gevorkjan don't think it will fit non m bumpers, when you search diffusers it specially says for M bumpers
What about any other diffesers? I bought a new 520d recently and im planning to get the duel pipes like the m5, are there any non m diffusers that will match the m5 pipes?

Ifeanyi Ezeofor I got it on eBay, the listing is no longer there but I know theirs similar ones, even with this one after the video and driving around I did have to trim the clips a little so they stayed on, nothing a little sandpaper couldn’t fix but with carbon fiber parts and especially some eBay ones they will always need some work.
Does this apply to 550i ? Also what is the brand name of the diffuser ?
yes should be the same. they have the same bumper. even m5 bumper is the same just usues a different bracket for the diffuser.

@@alexaliyev i got the one in the video on ebay, no name brand but it fit wells and the carbon has lasted really good no pealing or fading, and ive actually scrapped it a bunhc of times on driveways since my car is lowered and its held up really good. i think most of the ebay ones are all from the same place anyways
I don't know what that material composition is. It certainly isn't carbon fibre. There is clearly no weave. It is just laquered over pimples of sorts.

ebay, the exact seller i dont think he has i listed anymore but i think most of the ebay ones are all the same. has this for 4 years and still good...i did scrape on a very steep driveway and besides some deep scratches no cracks.
