Cool wallet. My wife is Japanese and we go annually. I have lived there for 3 years, and we sometimes have long stays as well. There are times when I am carrying a serious handful of coins. The largest coin is $5(forget the exchange rate) and the smallest cash is $10. It is also very common to pay for something with $100 note and end up with a lot of change. Also all those vending machines give change. So when out with the family there is great opportunity to windup with a pocket full of change in a single afternoon. I like a ridge type wallet in the US but must have something that carries change in Japan. Too bad this is $150. THere are dollar stores all over japan with little pouches and change carriers.
Any plans to do more of the Ezra Arthur wallets at all? Such as the phone wallet or the passport wallet? This is a cool and informative video by the way and I like it 👍👍👍
I’m from Europe and I love using coins, I love this Design and i want to buy this wallet hopefully as the last wallet I‘ll ever buy. But the colour whiskey is totaly different on the ezra Arthur Web Shop. Shipping to Europe will be expensive, so now I am unsure what I will get when I order Whiskey? 😢
I don't carry any coins, but I like the craftsmanship. Anyway, out of my price range. I did get a wallet from Open Sea leather, and a Benjamin Bott, based on your reviews!
From a minimalist perspective, I think you focus more on how slim a wallet is and less on size without sacrificing features or extra fold for cash. Would love to see a review for a bifold wallet like bellroy hide & seek but with shorter dimensions. I understand there could be currency compatibility issues.
Everyone outside the US. If you want a shopping card or bathroom access in Europe, you need a coin. If you want anything from a vending machine in Japan, you need coins. Coins are still heavily used.
Another awesome wallet, thanks for the explanation about Japanese wallets. Love watching your channel grow! Keep up the good work

I wonder how long it would take for the snaps to fail. I have found snaps to be unreliable over time.

Can't go wrong with either one of those brands! You made good choices.
"Let me Shoyu" LOL!!
Greetings! Nice wallet some what unusual and a bit pricy.👍
Not sure I could get used to the two big wings. Don’t need coins so it’s a pass for me.
Do more Japanese wallets plz

How I hate coins 🤣 since the UK moved to the £1 and £2 coins it's just 'worserer' and yep, that's a word in my book. Ha. Cheers Mark 👍🏻
I think I'll get one just to keep my Big League Chew in it.
But folding the bills so much is bad...
If you are a person who pays $150 for a wallet, chances are you have no need for coins.
A waste of which seems to be a nice piece of leather.
Not for me, looks crumblesome for everyday use.
who needs coin wallet nowadays.
