I'm mainly interested in brutal bass. If you say that the ANC 2 has about the same bass like Crusher EVO , then I will not buy the ANC 2. I myself have original Crusher ANC and Crusher EVO. Original Crusher ANC has more brutal bass than more careful Crusher EVO. I especially like that Original ANC has strong bass even at lower volume. I always have to turn up the Crusher Evo a little louder to get more bass.

I have my crusher evos since about a year already and after many many hours of gym usage and a lot of sweat, they still work like on day one

I've had these for a little over a month, I upgraded from the Evo and I love them for the most part. My only complaints are that the stay aware mode doesn't work if you're listening at anything over 25% volume, the folding capability is useless because it causes the cord to pull out over the course of 1 week of consistent use(no change from the Evo), and the buttons didn't work to skip songs when I got them but they do have a "button settings" feature in the app so that was easily resolved. Other than those few small things, I love them.

How is the sound?
I heard the bass is less strong and it’s less customizable but it’s hard to tell online everyone is saying different things
@@H-iw4iq the ANC 2s have better bass performance, but it's barely noticeable. The mic quality is the biggest difference I noticed, the Crusher Evo had a muddy, underwater sound when using the mic, the ANC 2 has a nice, clear mic. My Evos started to put out less and less bass around 3 months into using them, I've had my ANC 2s for about a year and I can say, with confidence, that I'd NEVER go back to the Evos.
@@H-iw4iq as far as how customizable the ANC 2s are, there's a new app that *should*, eventually, have additional features, making them even more customizable. As of right now you can do everything you could do with the Evos, plus the option of button settings, and ANC modes, its already more customizable then the Evos.
I still have the original ANC’s and I love them to death!

Love the video, how did they perform at the gym? Did they fall off or were they wiggling around at all? How about compared to the evos?
Wish to see more reviews for bass headphones. It could be nice to know for example how the acoustic bass compares to other popular headphones considered "bassy" such as maybe Sony WH-1000XM4, WH-1000XM5 (but with Clear Bass enabled in the app), MDR-XB950BT, WH-XB900N, WH-XB910N, JVC HA-XC90T, JVC HA-XC91T etc. And then the haptic side of bass - Razer makes headphones with rumble effect for example.
Not sure about the ANC 2s as I don't own them, but the Evos are tuned to not have much acoustic bass since most of the thump comes in the haptics.
@@uraniyumb3097ANC 2 has the same preset tuning, but has the option for custom eq in the app, still basically dead as far as acoustic bass goes, even with the low end of the eq maxed. Hope this helps!

I watched your other review on the Evo’s and got those. They weren’t loud enough so I returned them, but I’m ordering the ANC 2 next week! I believe I try those out a couple months ago at a store, but got them mixed up between the Evo and ANC 2
How loud do you listen to music? I never went above 80% on my ANC and if I was hitting anything close to 80% it's because I was outside in a loud place.
Are the Evo underpowered?
@@Christopher._M usually I like listening to very heavy bass and music at the loudest volume possible. I believe the Evo’s I received were under powered! At 100% bass and volume it felt like maybe 70-80%. But the ANC 2 was perfect! I’ve had them for 3 months and the EQ app is perfect at 100% everything I can barely hear people next to me which is great! ANC 2 is more comfortable for long wear butttt after 4 hours they get heavy. They are very durable

You might have ear damage from loud music. I recommend you check your ears so it doesn't lead to something more severe as you age.

What do you recommend for ones that are easily replaceable once they get a little too beat up via gym sweat, etc. my main thing is having good bass and being comfortable as well. Thank you in advance.

Both are pretty good, but with the fabric headband and just being cheaper, I'd say the Evo is a better choice for the gym

i bought two different pairs of these (returned the first ones to get another) and both of them had the same problem when the bass is really high on certain songs the left ear like slightly rattles? i have no clue why but i’m just wondering if anyone else has had that problem, since i’ve seen nothing about it online, yet it’s happened with two different brand new ones.

For me they have about the same volume levels. The ANC kinda gives the effect of it sounding louder because you’re not hearing a lot of your surroundings. But not a huge difference

Honestly the sound quality is very similar. If you are happy with your Evos, you should stick with them
Do you know if there's any way to turn off the robot voice bass indicators and the max bass beep alert in the app or something? I'm looking for an upgrade to my Crusher Wireless but if I can't turn those off, I think I might honestly rather have the Evo's slider than the dial, even if it means giving up ANC and multipoint bluetooth.
Unfortunately I haven't found a way yet, if I do I'll definitely make a video on it

Just did tried both again, I’d say the ANC 2 has a bit more to it. The noise cancellation also just helps u hear it better. Both great bass tho!

Is the bass better than the original ANC? In my country I found a pair of the original ANC at around 200$ and I'm not sure if I should buy the ANC2 or ANC1

They definitely are a slightly beefier than the Hesh ANC, but I wouldn't say it's that big a difference. The ANC 2s just feel like they're built a lot better. I'll be recording a comparison video soon

I have both headphones and can say the Sony has better noise canceling. I use my Sony M4 and m5 for the gym and the crusher anc 2 for gaming on my pc

Honestly they're both pretty similar to me. Especially with personal sound setup. I've also heard both sides, some saying ANC 2 had better bass, and some saying Evo. My recommendation would be to buy both on Amazon and return the one you prefer
Is the bass supposed to be more powerful on the right side? Mine feels like the bass hits way harder only the right and barely any haptic feel on the left side

You don't buy these for the ANC or perfection quality sound. These things are perfect for everyday stuff like podcast, movies, and amazing for bass music. Its like having 2 12s on your ears. Worth every penny.

For me the comfort was a big upgrade. Having ANC is also nice. Sound is about the same. Depends on what you value

More immersed because it has the noise cancellation that removes some of the outside world. Bass levels I find are about the same, these might be a bit better
you can always add bass apps and amp apps to increase mine are loud asf cause i added a loud volume booster from apple play and bass enhancer

I don’t notice a huge difference in volume. The noise cancellation on these make it easier to hear tho
Can I ask how long you've had your Evos? I've noticed that they seem to diminish in both sound and bass quality after roughly 2 months, at least mine have. I upgraded to the ANC 2 for this exact reason.

Xm4 are a bit better I own both headphones. Xm4 have better noise canceling but lacks the bass

I think because it was a prerelease model the box has the XT 2 on it, some type of manufacturing mistake. Its the exact same as just the ANC 2 tho

If they are any like the ANC they replaced they are exactly what you need for movies and gyms.

@@jait7642In my personal opinion, yes all day. I noticed that my Evos seemed to lose volume and bassiness after maybe 2 months, I can't imagine what the upgrade would be like after 2 years.

Been using these Crusher ANC 2 and the Sony ULT Wear for the past week.
The Sony's are just better in every way. Noise cancelling, weight, comfort, sound clarity, real bass. The only thing the Crushers have that the Sony's don't is the physically vibrating bass gimmick. Everything else about the actual music is better on the Sony's. I was really hoping I'd have a reason to want to keep both. But the Crushers are getting returned due to just... poor sound quality. I can get a vibrating neck massager that doesn't cost two hundred bucks, and use that while listening to the Sony's. The music will sound better, and I'll still get the neck massage.
Take that for what it's worth. The Sony's are cheaper right now, too.

I really wanted to love these... but they really disappointed me after a few years of using the original Crusher ANC. The bass doesn't hit nearly as hard, and let's be real... that British accent from the assistant makes the originals superior on that alone lol. I did actually prefer the bass slider on the ANC2, rather than the slide on the original... but it's all about how the bass SOUNDS. People, if you want some sick bass, go with the original ANC as they are far superior in their sound quality. Sure you can't ask your original ANC's to "more Crusher" for you... but yeah just my opinion having used both.
I find the bass is 10x better on the Evos, louder and clearer i had the evos for two years and for Xmas I got the anc2 I’m not being ungrateful but I dislike the anc2s the bass on them is just noise even on 50% bass and volume
I'm getting these headphones today and I can't wait. I'll probably keep the bass at 100%.

@@occupiedstudios U talked about it being a little inconsistent and "muddy" or whatever its called, is that the same for the skull crusher Evo or is this better sound quality? also a question i have is that if i use it at the gym and also wanna use them for example gaming, can i clean them in anyway or when u worked out did they start smelling since that can usually happened when u sweat in earcups, and if so how since its barely possible to remove the cups, or did you not have an issue with this? love your videos btw!
@@dala1148I know I'm not him but sweat and stink was never a problem for my Evos and it still doesn't seem to be with the ANC2s, as for muddiness, yes, they have the same amount, or close to with the ANC being a little less muddy. Hope this helps!
