I’ve been wearing them to the gym. They really aren’t meant for it. Once you start sweating they slip and feel really uncomfortable. Just wear earbuds and get these for lounging tbh

Those are a different type of headphone, these a for fun, well the Evo's are anyways, these ANC 2's disappointed me, by listening to all these asshats reviews on this platform I thought I was upgrading from the Evo's, boy was I wrong and they were most definitely full of shit in all of their reviews, these ANC 2's make you feel like your going from the Evo's to a pair of Sony's with Extra Bass, connect the Evo's to a removable headphone cord and connect them to a Dac and you'll understand what I mean, they literally sound like a car stereo system with 2 1000W 12" subwoofers attached to your head for pure fun and enjoyment, I switch between the Audirect Atom 3 Dac and Moondrop Dawn 4.4mm Dac (4.4mm version is the only one between the 2 versions that will allow you to access the 4V Dual-Dac mode) once you experience this it will change how you listen to music forever, I can never go back to any other headphones because this is just pure amazement attached to my head that is so addictive it's not even funny
@tommilliken7740 I completely understand. Once you start considering drivers, the headphone game changes completely. I have the ANC's and a pair of Focal Bathys(pricey bastards) and they serve two different purposes. Like food, people have different different palates when it comes to listening.
@tommilliken7740 hi there,am just curious. Lack of ANC is the only reason I am considering buying the anc 2 over the evos. Does it make much of a difference?
This might be a dumb question, but the app and the presets are on the phone app, do the presets carry over if i switch to my laptop wired or wireless?
The beeping for the personalized sound is the standard sounds for hearing tests since it's more for people who are hearing impaired, but it probably sounds weird for people who've never had a hearing test before.
The ANC 2's are lackluster compared to the Evo's unless you wanna spend $200/$250 for ANC and hands free controls, they sound like a pair of Sony's with Extra Bass compared to the Evo's, I literally gave up on the ANC 2's and I'm currently back on the Evo's

Hopefully the quality of the buttons improve. They tend to give up after so many pushes on previous models. I’ve fixed my with a tiny piece of electrical tape lol
I had to get the 360 so the button didn’t full in again I hade the anc first
Lmao the ANC 2's have full hands free controls, you'd never use the buttons unless you wanna go caveman style, the Evo's sound waaayyyy better than the ANC 2's, I have the Original Crusher Wireless, Evo's and ANC 2's and by the way all these asshats reviews make them sound are a major disappointment compared to the Evo's, Evo's by far have been the best headphones I've ever experienced, if you use them correctly they'll sound like your sitting in a car with a stereo system with 2 1000W 12" subwoofers, they're fuckin awesome, connect a removable headphone cord to them to a Dac (a Dac is a headphone amp) I switch back and forth between the Audirect Atom 3 Dac and Moondrop Dawn 4.4mm Dac (you'll need a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter to use them but only the 4.4mm version allows you to access the 4V Dual-Dac mode) and you'll thank me later, greatest thing since sliced bread, oh btw I've broken the Bluetooth mode in my Evo's and all buttons still work and they still sound amazing, lol

I love my evo crushers. My favorite headphones, but the 2 features on my wishlist were multi-connect and anc/transparency mode. If I had to choose I'd pick multipoint connect as when I'm using these headphones with the bass I'm pretty much disconnected from the world anyhow.
I'm about to buy these...my evos broke the motors inside came loose and created audible rattling
The Evo's are still way better sounding, there's no comparison if you use the Evo's properly, replace the stock ear pads with a pair of large ear pads, they are so much more comfortable and connect a removable headphone cord to them connected to a Dac (a Dac is a headphone amp) and you'll thank me later, they literally sound and feel like your in a car stereo system with 2 1000W 12" subwoofers, I switch back and forth between the Audirect Atom 3 Dac and Moondrop Dawn 4.4mm Dac (of course with Moondrop Dawn you'll also need a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter to unlock the 4V Dual-Dac mode, the 3.5mm version doesn't allows this feature) and once you experience this set up you'll thank me later, it'll change how you listen to music for the better forever

My main question is, are these over all better than the Crusher Evo and are they worth the price over the Evo (seeing them for about 140-150 bucks)? If so I may consider, if not I'll go for the Evo.
Had the ANC but they were ok IMO and the weight became too much over time so hoping these are much lighter over all. Love the sound and comfortability of my XM4s but want that Crusher feel like before.
They’re ver similar but overall, the anc’s have the noise cancelling feature which imo makes them SO much better it also has hands free voice control. If you get them at walmart the price difference is only 20 dollars the Crushers are at 180 & the ANC’s at 200.
You'll literally be paying $200 for ANC and hands free controls, the Evo's blow the ANC 2's away in overall sound by a large ways

ANC 2 is way louder and with customization has way better treble balance. ANC 2 is worse sounding out of the box, but far higher potential. Thats why its gotten such a mixed reception. I have both and am sending back the evo. Its just capped by comparison.
Nice review and thank you for your honest work! But they are still some questions left: Does the headphones support aptX, aptX-HD, or maybe LDAC? How is the microphone quality? Is it worth upgrading to these from ANC v1 or the Evo? Thanks!
Microphone quality is great. However, this is only AAC. aptX-HD and LDAC are mostly gimmicks, they make no noticeable difference. aptX is simply worse than AAC.
They are not better than Evo's, just stick with them and you'll thank me in the long run, the ANC 2's are disappointing

I got the Hesh ANC in March and I love them, the sound is really good. I'm interested in the Crusher ANC 2 as well, so I'll probably eventually get them.
Save yourself the disappointment and get the Evo's, ANC is an overrated feature, no need for it when the bass hits so hard you can stand next to an ambulance and not hear it

I have a pair of these and let me tell you.. I've listened to B&O's, Sony's, Bose.. you name it, and there's nothing like this. Obviously, if you're an audiophile, then grab you some Focals or something similar. For the price, these are insane.

just got mine. took me back to middle school bumping house techno as loud as i could on the snoop dogg bass skullcandys (that took two AA batteries) omw to and from school. so epic. came from crusher evo and a pair of sennheiser open back, and i think i prefer these but i love having all the options now

ANC mode (maxed) muffles the incoming noises so you hear them about 80% silently. Not sure how that compares.
I first got the crushers when they got released, then got the crusher wireless and the crusher anc when they got released.
The crusher anc are probably the best headphones I have ever tried and I never want any other headphones.. just the crusher anc 2 because Skullcandy headphones are just different.

I got these over the weekend, serious value for money. The Bass response is mind blowing. I have ageing ears now so I have to notch that back a bit. Ive fallen asleep with them on too. They're also light to wear yet well built. If you compare them to the Ai Ai Ai(which I also have) , I'd say they pip them to the post on build quality, although the ai ai ai's have many features and configurations. If you haven't got £400 for the Bose or the other 'top' name brands, then grab these they're just a good (in my

Definitely not, I just got the ANC 2's yesterday and I feel like a dumbass for listening to the asshats reviewers, I listen to Rock/Metal every now and then (something like Sevendust) but mostly Rap and the Crusher Evo's are the best by far, if you really wanna hear them bump connect the removable headphone cord to them then to a Dac (if your not sure what a Dac is it's a headphone amp) I switch between the Audirect Atom 3 Dac and the Moondrop Dawn 4.4mm Dac (of course with the 4.4mm version you'll also need a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter to use it but only the 4.4mm version allows access to the 4V Dual-Dac mode, the 3.5mm version doesn't allow it) and they literally sound like a car stereo system with 2 1000W 12" subwoofers, maybe even 15"s, you'll thank me later for this set up, my ear pads also started peeling and sticking to my head/face so I upgraded mine to the large fleece type ear pads and holy shit are they super comfy

Unfortunately the ANC 2's are not an upgrade sound wise over the Evo's, trust me I'm surprisingly upset at the lackluster sound the ANC 2's over the Evo's, my dumbass listened to all of the reviews on this platform and damn am I disappointed. Anyone who knows how to use the Evo's properly understands what I'm talking about, it's literally like going from a car stereo system with 2 1000W 12" subs to a bookshelf stereo system, there's absolutely no comparison and what I mean to use the Evo's properly get a pair of large ear pads to switch out the stock ear pads that come with the Evo's, I switched mine because the leather from the stock ear pads were peeling and sticking to my face, so I chose the large ear pads that are like a fleece material and boy am I not disappointed, they eliminate any discomfort there may have been with the stock one's, I use my flat black removable headphone cable that came with my Original Crusher Wireless that has the button for answering phone calls and to pause/unpause music currently connected to a FireTab HD 8 Plus running a Audirect Atom 3 Micro Dac in which I just purchased this past Tues and I am not disappointed whatsoever, before the Atom 3 I was using a Moondrop Dawn Dac 4.4mm with a 4.4mm adapter to 3.5mm connection to access the 4V Dual Dac mode (that mode isn't available with the 3.5mm Dawn Dac) and like I said it turns the Evo's into a car stereo system on your head, it's seriously amazing and then to watch all these reviews only to get the ANC 2's with the belief that they were an upgrade from the Evo's and come to find out they are just a hands free ANC $250 version of the Crushers with a downgrade in sound really got me, I was so stoked to get them and try them out then once I did get them I was literally like wtf, in no way whatsoever are they better other than with phone calls, I have been told they are the best out of all of them because of the quiet mic but other than that and a little harder hitting haptic motors is it, but the decrease in overall sound makes that feature lackluster at best, so if you want to downgrade and waste $250 make the same mistake I did, otherwise deck out your Evo's like I did and enjoy the funnest pair of headphones available on the market

Frankly, I have had the crusher anc 2 and crusher evo with me. The anc 2 are louder. But to me, if you got the evos and anc is not so much your thing, please save your 💷 money... Evos are equally good. U only have to EQ them right /well & u r done... I had to return the anc 2 as it was not necessary spending or upgrade for sure.
I u like new things, the improved app and lighter weight, well then, go for the upgrade. Otherwise, stay put and wait for the new EVOs
Connect the Evo's to a Dac and you'll understand how the ANC 2's are no comparison, the Evo's are the best, I just got the ANC 2's yesterday and needless to say they will be going back, these reviews make them a huge disappointment

@@OfficialGamesky I'm sure, however, Skullcandy is lacking in sound/features in app. Bass you can feel is it's selling point. Not for serious Bluetooth listening. However, good for unbalanced listening for recreational purposes.

The Ambient Sound on the OG ANCs was the best ambient sound I have ever heard, surpassing the Sony XM4s, Bose, etc, I hope the Ambient is the same or better on the ANC 2.

@@tommilliken7740I have the Crusher Wireless and they sound great with the bass slider turned all the way down. Picked up a new pair on Amazon a few months ago for $95.00. With high quality recordings they sound great. I did try the Crusher Evo and they are very nice also but they were tight on my ears and top of head causing discomfort.
I have the first ANC’s and man, I’m very satisfied with the bass on these. The ANC itself isn’t all that great in general, I would much rather pop in my AirPods Pro 2’s.
I don’t think I’m getting a pair of these new ANC’s though. I’m keeping the OG ones! 😀

Just got these and I’ll tell you this, compared to the first crusher anc in terms of vocals and mids they definitely do sound a lot cleaner. The anc is incredible and just destroys the old ones. When I comes to bass that’s where things get disappointing… the old ones have so much better bass response, the old ones bass sounds cleaner no matter the intensity, the bass hits way lower notes than the new ones, the bass feels much more realistic than the newer ones. For that reason I found myself liking the old ones more. If you don’t care that much about the bass than I would get the new ones. But if bass is why you bought these in the first place then stick with the old ones trust me

Nope. If you don’t realize they are set at 20% impact out of the box then yes.
Redditors are usually wrong.
The thing is, like Gamesky, they didn't know that the max bass intensity when you just turn the wheel up was set to 20%. Its likely that they didn't know that the wheel was a button you could click.

I have both the crusher evo, and these new anc xt2. Can confirm they are louder. Not by much, maybe 25% louder
@Pablo honestly in my opinion, the difference isn't major. Crusher evos have a tad more base, but these get really close.

The people on reddit who tried these turned the knob up without presssing the knob to set the max intensity, and as Gamesky said, they are set to 20% out of the box. Its likely they too didn't know about this.
