I think you and I might be the only the people on this planet who have Monster in their top 5 favorite KISS albums! I've been a KISS fan since '79 and loved Monster the 1st time I heard it. It boggles my mind that most people don't like it.
Unfortunately, most people listen with their eyes. Monster is every bit of a KISS album as the first several 💯 Sadly folks let things like makeup get in the way of enjoying good hard rock music. But as long as you and I got the right idea, that's all that matters 😎
@@kissarmythings Nice, maybe you could just take it out of the PVC sleeve, I am leery of those too. I wouldn't want the signatures to be damaged by it.
I have a mint original pressings from being a kid of Love Gun, Rock and Roll Over, and Killers. I also have original pressings of Kiss Alive 1&2, Destroyer, and the solo albums. Also mint vinyl of You Wanted The Best You Got the Best
I don't have a channel but I want to play along, so I'll just list mine. 1-oldest is KISS 9001 without Kissin' Time 2-most recent- original 1975 German KISS Alive! with censored logo and different gatefold (no debut record pictured) Just got it today at the record show! 3-live- Unplugged, original but no poster 4-Destroyer- cat got the cover and the vinyl is wasted 5-Elder copy- 1/2 speed German with shiny cover 6-after 2000- KISS Rocks Vegas, great record 7-solo- 40th anniversary boxset of all 4, really well done, nice package, of my original copies like you, Paul's is the only one that has all the inserts 8-best deal- original Rock and Roll Over with the sticker for $5, has a nice scratch but plays just fine, it was worth it for the sticker alone! 9-Japanese- KISS Alive II with the OBI, book, tattoos, lyric insert 10-favorite- Dressed To Kill, my original copy a little tatty but means a lot. Beautiful copy of The Elder! I need that one. I've been worshipping that album ever since I got it for Christmas in 1981. Always loved the entire album. My only qualm was that it didn't have any photos of Kiss...lol😅
Hello, Zander. I think your Paul '78 solo album may be a promo. Judging by the cut-out at the bottom right hand corner. However....the cut-outs are usually at the top right. Another give away is, your order form is missing the envelope that is usually attached. If your Casablanca custom label reads : For Promotional Use Only. It may still be a promo copy.
I was just about to ask about the cut corner on the Paul Stanley album. Mine is the same but I don't think it's a promo I bought it from a record shop back in the 80's. HMV in the UK.
Hi Mick, thanks for your comment! I double-checked that copy but didn't see any mention of it being a promotional copy, neither on the record or jacket. I have heard many reasons over the years as to why the corners were cut- from marking promo copies to stores marking them for the clearance bins... who knows lol It also very well could have been a Frankensteined copy before it made its way to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the video, Zander. Missed that Daphanie wasn't there for her additional input, but it was still great. I unfortunately am not able to participate in your 10-album run down since I gave away my records and player to my ex. I do still have Love Gun in a frame but, I don't even think the record is in it. I do however have every Kiss CD except the Japanese versions and most all of the Cassettes including Killers which I picked up in the Philippines during my stint in the service. I think the last cassette I have is Psyco Circus. Anywho, always great to sit and listen to you go on about Kiss. Peace out. :)

Just found out my Sonic Boom copy that I purchased off of Amazon is a bootleg. Although it's a gatefold and has a lyric sheet, there is no poster.
