Fantastic video! I have really enjoyed watching you upgrade the truck as you progress. I really feel that it adds a lot of growth and development to the series. I think a week in Wyoming is a really good idea! About the top of the truck, there is one little dot on top that allows the upgrade. It easily gets lost among the lights, flashers, and horn dots.
I didn't pay much attention to immediate truck upgrades in ETS2, but I'm surprised at how much fun it's been upgrading in ATS. I find myself looking forward to the next level to see what cool things we can add to the truck, and it's just plain fun seeing the visual difference in how the truck looks. And thanks, I noticed a couple of dots in editing the video too, and wondered exactly the same thing as you mentioned. I'll check out some of those little dots I missed while making the video. I have a good idea which one or two it must be. :)
Some really cool upgrades! I haven‘t really done anything with those except for upgrading for utility reasons. You know what I would love to see in ATS? Alaska. I imagine that to be so beautiful. Even though I know there‘s no direct route connecting the rest of the US with it but you could do a ferry or something
Alaska would be amazing, yes! A ferry would be easy, and then they could start adding Canadian provinces. By the way, there are already a lot of map mods out there that expand the map. I don't know if Alaska exists, but I've seen them for places like Japan and whatnot. :)
Hey thanks for making these videos they are fun to watch. I know I've just discovered you and your farther down the line than where I am in your series but a small tip: you can park a trailer anywhere by stopping and pressing T. Good for long wide loads if your getting fuel. Then you can just go and grab your trailer and caddy on without having to drive it into the gas pumps. 😁 Oh and traffic will stop if you use your flashers and it seems to me that cars do respond to your turn indicator, very useful when getting on the highway.
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos, thanks for watching! :) And thanks for the tips! At some point that "parking the trailer to make gas stops, etc., easier" did come up from another watcher, and I have used it a few times. I'm not sure I do it in an episode or not, come to think of it. ~ I've heard from some people that AI cars don't respond to blinkers, but I haven't looked closely at it for a while and it's very possible that it's been changed over the past year or so? Interesting.
Hi Zilla great work again. Really pumping them out at the moment, so thankyou for all the hard work. I would be great to have a week in Wyoming like you suggested. That large load you mentioned could be a mod but the is also the special cargo DLC, not sure if you have it. There are a huge amount of mods for ATS. Everything from real companies to whole new tricks and trailers to whole maps and everything in between. The larger aero cab will unlock at a higher level too. Thanks again for the awesome content.
@Erice McCollum there are multiple free mods on the steam workshop. There are also alot of third party sites that have them however If you're playing through steam those won't auto update. Jon Ruda has some paid mods that are outstanding as well as b4rt modding for some outstanding trailers with extra added cargo. Sound mods by zeemods are great aswell. Google is your friend for alot of these. Happy hunting.
Thanks for the kind words, Sarge. I'm finding that I'm enjoying ATS more and more as it goes along, and having a truck capable of pulling some of these challenging loads is definitely helpful. :) ~ I took a peek at the Special Cargo DLC, and yep, that certainly looks like some of the loads. I have that installed, and wonder if I just have to upgrade my driver or get to the right cities for some of the deliveries to show up. I'm sure we'll bump into them at some point. Must deliver helicopter. :) ~ I think the Aero Cab unlocks at Level 20, so that's a mid-range goal to work to for sure. ~ I'm excited to dig into some of the mods as well. I've poked around some of the sites for ETS2 and explored some of the weather and traffic mods. It's feeling about time to do similar things with ATS. I probably won't change things too much with this career and driver with regards to map and game structure, but that still leaves a lot to explore. So much to do, so little time to do it. :)
@@Templar21479 Yes, thanks, that's good to remember. I found that happened a lot with map mods in ETS2. I don't think I'll use map mods on the series, as we have so much to explore and see in the core game.
Truck stop etiquette dictates your truck gets towed, you get your license removed, and then you’re thrown into a river for blocking those precious spots. The employees at “Heart’s” (Love’s) would agree with this. 😂
Just to be a bit of an ass... You already have teh day cab. you wanna get the sleeper cab. International has one of their sleeper cabs with wood floor, where there is a sofa bed, and you can turn aroudn the driver/passanger seat and make it your own little work lounge. Pretty sick looking actually. and that international is a cool looking truck!
Nah, not being an ass at all. :) Thanks for the clarification! That International sounds really cool. I'm kind of looking forward to building out another truck in the near future, maybe once we get Mack leveled up and buffed out more. :)
also, wouldn't you be better off upgrading engine & trannya dn chassis instead of cab? BTW, when you upgrade cab, you los the Midlift or 6x4 chasis (I had a 6x4 200 gal chasis and had to go back to a 6x2 150gal to upgrade cab to a sleeper). also, there is option where you can make game pause when you take focus away from that window (as in, tab out of the game)
I think I got all the current upgrades for the cab, and yeah, I wondered if perhaps we lost a bit of power by shifting to the day cab? I'm guessing there will be power upgrades available soon for this model as well. I thought I saw a chassis or transmission upgrade at Level 13 when I was upgrading. ~ Thanks for pointing out the pause thing. I'm actually aware of that but for whatever reason often hit "Escape" instead and that's the one where sometimes the truck keeps driving even though I've left the game. :) I think it's ... F1 that is the real pause. :)
Happy to help, but I'm not 100% sure I understand the question. You can see all future upgrades to your truck on the main screen when you are looking for jobs and stuff. The future ones are all identified with little lock symbols and the Level they'll unlock at. So you can pretty much see the whole path of the truck's upgrades there. That what you mean?
Happy to help! Those states aren't in the base game. You have to buy the DLC (Downloadable Content) for each of those states. If you are thinking to get them and price matters, I'd wait until September 7 because they should go on sale when the new Wyoming DLC gets released. Hope that helps! :)
Oh ok. That's nice to hear. The truth is that the ats series delivery is pretty much straight forward I don't know if the American roads are the ones to blame or I liked too muck the ETS2 series!!!
Sure thing. If you are using the Steam version the game will update automatically if you have that option selected in Steam. Go to your library list, right click on the game, select Properties.... Then select Updates on the left side, then select "Always keep this game updated".

I am about to buy a level 13 peterbilt but I am one level short, but the good part is, I made 12 levels in 2 days
Nice work! Enjoy the journey and your new truck. :)
I'm honestly surprised how fast I made this much money, I did a 44k trip 21 hour quick job
