    You know you're a Twin Cities Geocacher when you become excited about being at the 45th parallel somewhere else in the world. :) Heck, N45 is the northern border of Vermont and New Hampshire! We're north of Bangor, Maine!

      Ain't that the truth! It's especially meaningful to me because we basically were living spot on the 45th parallel for about 17 years. :) Always a good time crossing it somewhere else in the world. :)

    I'm super looking forward to Wyoming, too, coming out in about five hours and I know what I will relax to tonight!
    I think I never even get in the red now with sleeping, I'm so paraoid about it, even though I probably didn't need to be :'D

      Yeah, I usually don't cut it close either on sleep, but for whatever reason I just ended up on a route with no sleeping options. Never really had that happen before. I'm sure I could have gone out of my way some to find a place to sleep, but I rarely have to do that. Oh well, cool to see what happens when you go way over the sleep limit. :)

      Yes! In all fairness that was a pretty easy one, though. But I do think there is something to the handling differences between the two games. :)

      I definitely want to buy more trucks and try them out. I hesitate to give up on the Mack just yet though. At some point I do want to get a third truck, maybe we'll make that one an International. :)

    Dude! You virtually drove by my house! (I can see I-15 from my house)
    Also, you lost power because you added a bunch of weight when you upgraded to the sleeper cab. (Same thing happened when I upgraded a Volvo VNL 300 to a 730.
    Also, I agree. I think that would make them release the prairie states quicker b/c while they are big, they dont' have as massive mountains, so may be able to more quickly pump out stuff. I do think the scenic aspect IS why they started with the west.
    as for McCall, its a resort town, popular for tourism and stuff. Beautiful place! Interviewed for a job in Forest Service there, and didn't get it, got a job in Utah instead, which was nice, but I was sad I didn't get the job in McCall.
    also, after you yawn, sometimes you ahv elike, 2 or 3 hours to sleep sometimes, and you ahve like an hour AFTer you past that 14 hour limit before you black out. So scarry when you black out! It happened to me in Oregon going over a very windy, twisty mountain road.
    Sorry Very long post.

    Lovely in the forest at night :) Need to go look up what this parallel thingy is now, oh no need thanks for showing that! Yeah cool scenery this time. That's the thing that strikes me when i used to watch journeys across the states, there's so much NOTHING. Over here there's always something, I expected the states to be that on a bigger scale, but it's very sort of overwhelmingly huge and empty to us :o Getting in trouble for not getting yourself enough sleep is kind of wholesome hah. Fining you is less so. Maybe he was just trying to make the car feel better, ease its passing. Hope the cam thing gets easier for you soon :) Nice work!

      45th parallel is the latitude line that is halfway between the equator and the north pole, and it runs across much of the northern US. In western Europe it cuts through central France and northern Italy. It's a very geeky point of interest. :) ~ Yeah, that vast sense of open space and emptiness here is quite accurate, too. Hours and hours of open driving in the western half of the country. Eastern US is a totally different thing, though. Thanks for stopping in, SP!

      @@ZillaBlitz ah thanks for the explanation :) Yeah I get WHAT it is now thanks to you, but I'm not sure why it interests people now hah. To me that would be overwhelming, too big and lonely, perspectives though I guess. Oh I didn't know that either. Was a pleasure :)

    • @ZillaBlitz
      @ZillaBlitz  3 роки тому +1

      To be honest, I don't think the 45th parallel interests 99% of the population. But for geocachers, we work with latitude and longitude all the time, so you're always checking various coordinates. The 45th parallel is SUPER EXCITING for us. :)

    Hint: Good idea to check your sleep status (F6 I believe),, so you can plan to de-tour and get some rest before if you ETA on the map is longer than the "time to next sleep" or rest on the navithing.

    • @ZillaBlitz
      @ZillaBlitz  3 роки тому

      Yes, I actually do that quite often (and it's F6, you're correct). I checked this one with about 5 hours left and figured I'd go by a sleeping point at some point. But there just wasn't one available anywhere. Oh well! :)

    Thank your for your fun videos. I am new to ETS. Could you tell me if details of the jobs I have done will only register on World of Truck once I have my own truck. I have set up a WOT account and linked it to my profile but it’s not showing the stats for the quick jobs I have done. I was wondering if that will only happen once I have bought a truck? Thank you again.

    Are the developers actually planning to add all of the remaining states to the east coast?

    • @ZillaBlitz
      @ZillaBlitz  2 роки тому +1

      That's a good question. I know that they've spoken of adding groups of states for the smaller states. I'd imagine a few midwest states lumped together, for example. But I don't know if they have a full plan for getting to the East Coast. At 2 DLCs per year, by the time they get there the game will probably be completely outdated? :)
