Thanks for the extensive review.. i bought this camera last month and everything you mentioned is absolutely true .
One observation i have is they seem to have sent you a different rear camera you can check on their website as well . Plus the packaging is completely different. Mine only has two cameras and hardwire kit .. nothing else .
A budget camera which does the job , nothing more than that .Thanks again

Please don't buy this. I have purchased this and faced issue after 1 month. Delivery itself took more than a month. Now there is no one contacting me when i reported the issue and they will block your call if you call them.
After 4 months finally filed a complaint with national consumer forum but still they don't bother to resolve the issue and not picking up the call. Now going to file a case in district consumer court.
Its a complete waste of money and time.
You can also check the reviews for woodman showroom, Koramangala, Bangalore branch. Most of them are facing this issue. Their after sale support is pathetic. I have also added the screenshots and call details how many times i have tried to reach them and in case by mistake they receive your call, they will just say there is a separate team for return and they will notify them. And again no one call or email you and they will block your call.
Think 100 times before you trapped on the hype which they have created. Good luck

I have done this but they are still not responding so I will open a court claim as I have all the evidence.

I bought the Woodman 2.5K Dashcam with Hardwire kit.
1. The packing that came with this Dashcam is totally different. Poor quality packing.
2. The rear camera provided is a simple one and not this 360 deg one shown here.
3. The plastic looks fragile. The front camera rotation is not smooth. Squeaky noise
4. Day time video quality is good.
Yet to check the night vision.
5. Cannot access camera data when away from the car. Need to be close to the canera to be able to acess the data. So, to access data when away from the car, one must download to device and view.
6. Disappointed that the User Interface in the camera display is not as it is shown in this video.
7. The Reverse parking feature is nowhere to be seen !

It seems the camera from piece to piece is diffent. Mine is shape wise same but quality is not as good as yours. I have bought it 6 months back. Evn the app interface seems different

No technician will visit. You have to either install it yourself or get it done at any local car accessories shop.
Is this made in India like Qubo? or white labelled dashcam with woodman branding. Not sure about pan India support other than the ads they have been undertaking online.

I bought Woodman Dashcam 2 (2.4K) before this review video was posted based on advt on Facebook etc.
My frank opinion DO NOT BUY this Dashcam, as video quality is much below average, has less features, mob app is 3rd party Chinese (not Woodman branded), made in China but called as India ka apna brand.
Other brands Indian or even Chinese are good.

hey hi. i have bought the same camera. can you please tell me how to adjust date and time in it?
@@mayurbhalerao4882 the date & time only gets updated when you connect it with your mobile. And it has to be done every time the dash cam is started - very stupid! It has many problems apart from the date/time issue.

No it doesn't affect warranty if you connect the dashcam via the 12v power outlet of the car

I can recommend the best dashcam if you tell me your maximum budget. Regarding WOODMAN dashcam, its good but needs more work. Also, not sure regarding after sales service aspect.

Does it mandatory to connect the rear cam red wire. I installed today, dint wired rear red wire. Front cam is working. But rear cam display dint come. In app akso unable to watch rear display
Not mandatory to connect red wire. Rear camera will still work normally. If you are not getting rear display, recheck the connections again and restart the dashcam

Wiring with tail lamp won't tamper car default wiring.?
Not unless you cut the wire. You can connect the dashcam wire without cutting the car default wire. Just plug in the dashcam wire into the same terminal of the tail light joint.
When we need to switch on personal hotspot how can we connect camera ?
You have to enable WiFi via the camera settings and connect your smartphone to the dashcamera.

Lame but the only solution - you have to connect the dashcam with your phone EVERY TIME it is started.
Nexdigitron Prime 2k + dual dashcam or 70 mai A200 which would be good for hatch back. & Feature wise
Feature wise, A200 has HDR which gives slightly improved video. Prime has GPS which is more practically usable. Also, if screen is your priority, then A200 is the one to go with, or I would recommend Prime.

Yes, I've been using a Woodman system in my car from 2+ years. Not that its perfect or problem free, it does get the job done with a few hiccups here and there.

Have you noticed the video recorded while in parking? My camera starts only with ignition and I haven't seen any such recording.
The videos aren't smooth and it lags a lot while playback - is it the same for you too?
I also happen to see that not all the recordings get saved to the memory card.
I'm not liking this dash camera at all. I should have just sticked to my basic DDPAI camera that just costed me 3k (only front) and was very user friendly

I haven't tried Qubo yet. But as far as I know, Qubo doesn't have CPL filters or hardwiring kit for their dashcams. So 70mai A500 has the advantage.
