The Eagle Bluffs trail in West Vancouver, BC Canada can be difficult to find but definitely worth the effort. This 4 hour hike may seem difficult but once you get past the first hour the rest of the hike is fairly easy. There's a few lookout points just off the main trail. You have the Yew Lake Lookout and the Black Mountain Lookout. Both are about 250 meters from Cabin Lake and worth the extra 15 minute detour.
Eagle Bluffs is probably the most popular hike on Cypress Mountain. You have views of downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, UBC, Lighthouse Park, Whytecliff Park, Horseshoe Bay and Bowen Island.

Are you planning on doing this hike? how long are you going to be in Vancouver for? You could do this hike in October but there could be a little bit of snow (not likely a lot but you should be prepared.

Bowen island lookout is different then this one.. It's shorter but both these hikes (bowen island lookout and eagle bluffs) can be started on cypress mountain. I would guess the bowen island lookout is about a 2 hour hike

Camped up on cypress and seen a huge tree with bark missing from bear. Then we woke up cut through the bush and came out to the Rd luckily. Stupid young uneducated and oblivious to the danger.

Eagle bluff is easier to get to/find parking. Tunnel bluff is more dramatic but both views you can’t beat.
