But I wish he stopped mentioning 1993 Blood In Blood Out like it's some timeless classic cause it's not. Blood In Blood Out is one of the worst and most racist films of the 90s. It's also acted laughably by the main character. By far the worst portrayals of a character I've ever seen in a film.

I gotta give you props once again on your movie selections you seem to be willing to try out anything. It definitely feels like other reactors check what's working and then follow.
This movie deserves the like AND the comment for the algorithm. Favorite movie of all time. Still remember watching this back in 2008. Was in Portland Oregon visiting my biological dad and my cousin before headed to Yakima Washington.
So many quotes from this silly little gem live in my brain. "Who's the b!tch now!" "Tiger claw!" And "Just roll around... you'll be alright..." Eddie Griffith crushes his scenes, Eliza Dushku is insanely hot, and there's a lot of great musician cameos like Henry Rollins (the warden) and Tommy Lee. Currently in a pub with my mate, and the this popped up on my phone, drink went everywhere as I screamed "yeahhhhhhhhhhh".......I am now barred from that pub due to nearly giving a lady a heartattack, but at least I have this to watch, been looking forward to this ❤....sorry lady 😅
I saw this in the movie theater with my mom for some truly insane reason. The memory I have of my horror watching the boner scene paired with my mom's unhealthy level of glee is still traumatic.
BROOOOOO!!!!! I saw Scary Movie 1 with my mom in the theatre. We sat silent during that scene late in the 3rd act. We still don't talk about it to this day. Quite the bonding experience.

They look a little similar, but the dad from Road Trip wasn’t Lyle Lovett(singer), he was Fred Ward. If you want to see a great grade B movie with Fred Ward, Kevin Bacon and the amazing character of Burt Gommer, watch the movie “Tremors”. It’s a great cheesy monster movie.
You missed the fact that there are legendary musicians in this one. Josh Todd is the singer for buckcherry, Tommy Lee is the drummer for motley crue, Gene Simmons is the bass player in KISS and Henry Rollins was the warden.
The O’ Connell brothers asking about working out! Jerry O’ Connell is currently one of the hosts of The Talk. And the girl in the band (Nora) is Zoey Deschanel from the TB show The New Girl. You may have reacted to the dad (Lyle Lovett’s) music. And the bouncer at the music store is played by Vanilla Ice. The song you don’t recognize is called “Lookin’ for Love” recorded by Johnny Lee and was originally part of the Urban Cowboy soundtrack.
This is one of my favorite actors last movie before he passed. The guy who played the coach at the new school is Sho Nuff from The Last Dragon. PLEASE do a reaction to it. Best movie ever
The scene when he showed up to the new school with the police escort was, I think, a reference to Con Air (good movie, not sure if you've seen it yet). One of the prisoners in that movie had to be moved around in a restriction outfit like that.
Oh, this was _not_ the first time you've ever had to pause a movie to laugh uncontrollably. I saw you pause it - TWICE - on *You Don't Mess With The Zohan!* 😂
You are the only person I've ever known who understood that "Blood in blood out" reference. The music that was playing when he first walks in and the bull riding is a reference to another movie "urban cowboy" starring John Travolta. Good stuff man!
Finally, someone reacts to this one! A lot of people seem to hate it, but I think it's hilarious, and I love the casting. Lyle Lovett as the dad is perfect, you really believe they're related. Eddie Griffin is in top form. Gene Simmons preaching abstinence is so wonderfully ironic. Henry Rollins as the prison warden, getting tats with the inmates. The list goes on. So funny, and some good messages too. Glad you enjoyed this one as much as I did. If you can find the director's cut it adds some fun scenes, but removes the Patton bit to double down on Braveheart. The DC with the Patton bit would be the perfect version.
Man, this movie is a personal fav. I was bullied relentlessly in middle school. I auditioned with guitar for a performance art highschool so I got to go to a new place where nobody knew me. Lost some weight over summer, changes my look, changed my personality and had a great highschool experience. Wild that shit actually worked lol
This is one of the greatest comedies ever made imho. And good to see ya again Leo, sadly been too life busy to watch many of your videos lately, but I'm back.
I love this movie and think it might of singlehandedly stopped or at least heavily reduced school bullying until a few years after I graduated into the early 2010's after Facebook and the other major social medias took off.. I swear everyone was so chill in the early 00's during my high school years.. I remember very little to almost no bullying.. I was a freshman when this movie came out I remember the seniors being very nice, giving us newbies directions to certain rooms in the school during first few weeks and usually being friendly most of the time like letting us play basketball or water polo with them in P.E. class even though we obviously sucked compared to them. It was all pretty great back then besides elementary school but at that young of age there will always be bullies no matter the times. I haven't been in school in over 17 years so i don't really know how bad it has actually gotten besides the stories I've read. I was barely school age in the 90's besides elementary but I heard from my sister and other people that bullying seemed to peak when the internet first took off then from me and everyone I've known experiences' it tapered off in early 2000's maybe due to this movie but who knows. Anyways it just seems strange that my generation was skipped and mostly great then everything seemed to go to hell after 2010 when twitter and Facebook started taking over.. I know everyone's experiences are different and I can't speak for people from other regions or countries but the Midwest suburbs were at least like this and judging by the general feel good and chill culture at the time I believe most of the country was probably the same. Maybe I'm just becoming a grumpy old man but I doubt I'm the only one to notice these connections..
So this movie was filmed in Austin Tx my home. It was filmed at a local highschool. His dad is singer/musician Lyle Lovett. Who even though aint much to look at dude has a great voice. Classic movie i grew up watching.
Zoey D. Asking what dizzy is doing before he breaks the mop handle always kills me. No idea why she said it the way she did but it hits my funny bone every time.
Man thanks for reacting to the movie, loved it as a kid, nobody else seems to react to it haha. If you want another DJ Qualls movie he was in Hustle & Flow. Hope you’ll check out The Girl Next Door, another funny movie from around this time that I don’t see reacted to.
God said that strike 1 for laughing uncontrollably non stop at the scene from 37:00 😂 keep it up and them gates my stay closed.. great reaction.. keep grinding
I used to watch this movie RELIGIOUSLY back in the day! This gives me a high school Max Keeble’s Big Move type of vibe. Max Keeble is also very much worth the watch, I hope you consider it.
I had to come back and re-watch this one. I was really in the mood to see someone react to this movie, and as far as I can tell you're still the only person on UA-cam to react to this forgotten classic. This one, Eurotrip, Undercover Brother... you're one of the very few reacting to these favorites of mine. It looks like you haven't seen Van Wilder, though. It's an early Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) movie, also starring Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar) and Tara Reid (American Pie). I think you'd enjoy it.

We got hella cameos Kool Moe Dee, Jermaine Dupri, Henry Rollins, Tony Hawk, Vanille Ice, Gene Simmons from KISS, David Hasselhoff, Jerry and Charlie O'Connell, Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe, Josh Todd from Buckcherry, Julius Carry who played Sho'Nuff in The Last Dragon (RIP) and my boy Billy Brooks from Double Toasted is in the background. RIP to Matt Gogin died in December last year.
I haven't seen this in a long time and I can't believe there are so many cameos. Like Vanilla Ice as the record store "bouncer" and Gene Simmons as the mall priest. 🤣
This movie did poorly in the box office. Yet anytime it is on TV I can't help but watch. It is a true underdog, soul searching, comedic masterpiece. I always forget Vanilla Ice is the music store employee. And just, for the record it is okay to look at Eliza Dushku's swimsuits scene. While she may be playing a high school student she was in fact 21 years old at the time, so your should conscience is clear.
