Playing a Livingstone spiritual sequel to Trial of Champions/Armies of Death you know it's going to be a very tight one true path game where you have to collect everything.
i own every FF gamebook and this is by far one of the worst yet. it's 90% traps which result in a game over. I died 6 times in a row 3 of them being not being able to get past chance rolls! I dare you to do this book without cheating :P
@@bladexdsl You’re right, it’s not the best, currently playing Night Of The Necromancer for the first time and there’s a huge difference in quality. I did have to cheat - no traps killed me but I was perhaps far too cautious and missed the golden keys I needed. Had to cheat them to see the end…

Ah I forgot Armies followed Trial! And it's my favourite of the three. I'm looking forward to trying Shadow Of The Giants now

I've considered it, but it sounds like a lot of reading aloud plus there's a couple of good ones out there already - that's not a no though...

Night of Neuromancer is great. But i AM hearing good things about this too.
