Oh yoooo thats so cool that you sculpted my old blastoise illustration. I appreciate all the crediting for my work, way too many folks "forget" that part.
Omg!!!!! I’m honored!! When I first saw it I immediately had to hunt down whoever drew it like a madman because I just had to see everything else you’ve done (all of it is incredible) If there’s anything else you want me to plug in the description like merch, Patreon, another social media, etc, I’d be happy to do so too! I thought I clicked on a North of The Border video and feared the worst when I didn't hear his voice. Then I heard you say "grundle" and I knew everything was going to be okay. 😂
One big Ole blasty Boi. And realistic like something north of the border would do. This and the color pallet teaser just proved me even more right, It is Adam
If I had a nickel for every model making UA-camr that made a spikey-shelled realistic turtle based off a Nintendo character I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

Congratulations, after throughly watching through this video at least once, you have managed to make air exit out of my nostrils a little more forcefully than usual.
the skin flaps look SO amazing! plus, the warted tongue is such a great touch! also holy shit the water and barnacles look SO PRETTY! keep up the amazing work!
This is so cool, I can't get the thought out of my head that he could be a massive kaiju sleeping in the ocean with his shell being mistaken for mountains or something
I love how smooth your work is! Some people leave fingerprints and grime in their finished work, but yours look like it could be official merch! Especially with all the details, beautiful painting, and crisp sculpting
Using the netting in conjunction with your lumpy bumpy roller was a brilliant idea! So pleased to see your channel doing so well Diana. Well deserved. Just please tell me that when you're rubbing shoulders with Mr. Beast and sipping on Prime from a champagne flute that you won't forget us little hobby dweebs.
I’m not sure how I didn’t see this earlier, thanks so much Carl! I had to rewatch your light dragon video the other day because it was on my mind and I was even more impressed the second time over!
When this showed up on my recommended page I was like "huh, I don't remember North of the Border uploading a video" and well, I guess I was right in that. Awesome sculpting! Love the cool but also kinda creepy vibe!
AGH A TURTLE!!! I LOVE HOW YOU BASED HIM ON AN ALLIGATOR SNAPPER!! Those are some of the more chunky turtles, so it was a perfect choice for blastoise!!!
Fun fact about alligator snappers tongue: they have a weird worm-like appendage where it should be, so they scuttle to the bottom of the water and open their mouth, waiting for fish to get interested in the worms!!!
Love how this turned out! I would absolutely love to see more realistic pokemon based off of Arvalis's work as well. Their take on pokemon is so stunning, and it's very cool seeing them translated into sculptures like this!
This was such a fun development to see come together. Blastoise is the final evolution of my favorite pokemon, Squirtle, and you've done such an incredible job turning this character into something sort of lifelike. Great work.
Saw the thumbnail and thought I missed a North of the Border video, saw the name and found a new favorite crafter!!!! Love the voiceover and the texturing!
absolutely blown away by how terrific this looks! as i was watching i kept saying to myself "that looks amazing" and it just got better and better!! so impressed 😍
If I didn’t see you sculp those lava rocks, I would’ve thought they were real. Your work is amazing and I’ve now watched all your videos. I’m so, so impressed.

Thanks for the great video. I was looking around for inspiration for the Krakendress (scale model kit) which I am trying to paint, and I came across this and ended up watching the whole thing. I am looking forward to your next video!
Ive learned 2 things when texturing clay. Use all the acetone and add wrinkles. Oh and make texture rollers. So really 3 things. Wonderful video as always crafting lady.
I always look forward to watching your videos! I saw you posted last night right before I was about to got to sleep and I was so tempted to watch the video then. But I wanted to really be able to sit down and pay attention so I waited until this afternoon and I was not disappointed!
this might be a silly thing to point out , but i love your music choices !! i never hear pokkén tournament music in videos like these . wonderful job on the blastoise !! your attention to detail really makes it perfect ( ^ω^ )

if you and North of The Border worked together you could truly make Something Realistic
Are you suggesting Man-Spider wasn't realistic?
You mean a horrific nightmare from the depths of Hell even Lucifer is afraid to go to
IKR! When I saw the title I thought it was north of the border at first
Teenage Mutant Ninja Blastoise, gonna have nightmares thinking about that

This is so cool, I can't get the thought out of my head that he could be a massive kaiju sleeping in the ocean with his shell being mistaken for mountains or something
Imagine he's there for so long sediment builds up on his shell, then people and pokemon begin to live on his back like in an Asian fantasy.
Knowing snapping turtles, he definitely spent too long submerged, long enough for at least a village to be constructed on top of his shell.
