The Perfect Driveway - Adding Shale with the John Deere 2025r

On step closer to the driveway being done. In this video I add two triaxle loads of shale subbase to the barndominium driveway. The John Deere 2025r is there to spread it all out!

That’s a lot of shell stone, giving that little tractor a workout. A bulldozer will crush it good. Going to make a nice base.

Maybe I missed it on an earlier video, but what size finish stone are you going to use above the base? This next spring I will be clearing a 500 x 25 foot easement to our new property through mildly wooded area. Just curious. Thanks.

I’ll probably use a 2b limestone and then a thin layer of crusher run
