Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet
    Muhammad (pbuh).

Holy Spirit already there? So what? In John 14-16 Jesus Christ was SPEAKING TO HIS DISCIPLES who had NOT received the Holy Spirit YET.
And also after Jesus Christ's ascension the Holy Spirit was NOT on earth anymore, because Jesus Christ has gone away so the Holy Spirit also with Him.
So your saying 'the Holy Spirit was already there' will not help you.
But Jesus Christ said to His disciples: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you." John 14:26. It is clear that Paracletos is the Holy Spirit. Muhammad was not the Holy Spirit, so the Paracletos is NOT Muhammad.

Jesus Christ spoke to His disciples and said also: "But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I WILL SEND Him to you." John 16:7
So Jesus Christ has to go away so He could SEND the Paracletos, the Holy Spirit, to the disciples. Muhammad was NOT sent by Jesus Christ. So the Paracletos is NOT Muhammad.

@@baseerbaloch3867 Well let's read what the verse actually says:
"But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to you." John 16:13-15
Concerning the verb to hear the Greek word ἀκούω has several meanings beside only hearing: to understand, to learn, to listen and also to be taught by God's inward. In the same way is for to speak the Greek word λαλέω has also several meanings beside speaking: to utter, to proclaim, to bring, to make known, to teach.
So this can have several meanings
And Jesus said: “everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you” John 15;15. Also in his High Priestly Prayer, Jesus will say, “the words which you have given me I have given to them” (the disciples), John 17:8. In like manner, the Spirit will not speak his own word, but will speak “whatever he hears.” So there is a direct line from the Father through the Son to the Spirit to the disciples. So the the Holy Spirit as Helper (Paracletos) has the purpose as replacer of Jesus Christ but in another substance.
But again let's read John 16 “..... for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you." John 16:12-15
Did you read it? Two times it is stated that the Paracletos (which is the Holy Spirit) will become his revelation from Jesus.
Now I ask you: did Muhammad become his 'revelation' from Jesus? Yes or no.
      And did Muhammad hearJesus?
And did Muhammad disclose these words to the disciples of Jesus?
      Yes or no.

Well let's analyse the Hebrew text in Songs of Solomon 5:16. Is Muhammad predicted in Songs of Solomon 5:16?
      חִכֹּו֙ מַֽמְתַקִּ֔ים וְכֻלֹּ֖ו מַחֲמַדִּ֑ים זֶ֤ה דֹודִי֙ וְזֶ֣ה רֵעִ֔י בְּנֹ֖ות יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
ḥikwō maməṯaqqîm wəḵullwō maḥămadîm zeh ḏwōḏî wəzeh rē‘î bənwōṯ yərûšālāim:
“His mouth is most sweet; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”
The first mistake by Deedat is that he pronounced מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים as ‘muhamaddim’. But he is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad.
The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to Muhammad.
Also the claim that the plural 'im' (or 'eem') in ma-kha-madim in the Hebrew language was ‘added for respect’ is in this case false. Biblical poetry is typically built on pairs of metaphors, for example "they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions". In Song of Songs 5:16 it's "His mouth is most sweet, ממתקים, he is altogether lovely, מחמדים. So מחמדים, ma-kha-madim is equivalent to ממתקים, mamtaqim. So the addition ‘-im’ is just a superlative of ‘desire', so it means 'most desire'. Exactly in line with the other words in vers 16: ‘mamtaqim’ = most sweet and other places ‘partamim' = most noble.
Forms of the same Hebrew word are also used elsewhere in the Old Testament, yet Islamic ‘scholars' do not claim that those passages refer to Muhammad. Rightly so, since those verses cannot be forced to fit the notion that Muhammad is under consideration. For example, Isaiah 64:11 mourns the destruction of Jerusalem: “Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, is burned up with fire; and all our pleasant things are laid waste.” “Pleasant things” is a form of the same word in Song of Solomon 5:16. Would the Islamic ‘scholars' contend that Muhammad was “laid waste” in Jerusalem?
Additional occurrences of the same word are seen in 1 Kings 20:6; 2 Chronicles 36:19; Lamentations 1:10,11; Ezekiel 24:16,21,25; Hosea 9:9,16; Joel 3:5. Is in this cases also Muhammad mentioned? If yes, why? If not, why not?
So in Songs of Solomon no Muhammad.
Also the context, the Song of Solomon is about a beautiful young girl (Shulammite maiden) who is in love with a young shepherd boy. One day Solomon spots her and has her eventual brought to his residence where he tries to entice her to become another of his wives. The young shepherd follows and finds her and assures her of his love. She resist all the enticements, charms, riches, and luxurious life of a wife to the King. Finally she escapes and returns to her true love the humble shepherd boy. So it has nothing to do with Muhammad.

      @@reneandjohn New Testament Prophecy
John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you
      for ever.
In this verse, Jesus promises that another "Comforter" will appear, and thus, we must discuss some issues
      concerning this "Comforter."
The Greek word paravklhtoß, ho parakletos, has been translated as 'Comforter.' Parakletos more precisely
means 'one who pleads another's cause, an intercessor.'[1974] The ho parakletos is a person in the Greek
language, not an incorporeal entity. In the Greek language, every noun possesses gender; that is, it is
masculine, feminine or neutral. In the Gospel of John, Chapters 14, 15 and 16 the ho parakletos is actually a
person. All pronouns in Greek must agree in gender with the word to which they refer and the pronoun "he'
is used when referring to the parakletos. The New Testament uses the word pneuma, which means "breath"
or "spirit," the Greek equivalent of rah, the Hebrew word for "spirit" used in the Old Testament. Pneuma is
a grammatically neutral word and is always represented by the pronoun "it.
All present day Bibles are compiled from "ancient manuscripts," the oldest dating back to the fourth century
CF. No two ancient manuscripts are identical. [1975] All Bibles today are produced by combining
manuscripts with no single definitive reference. The Bible translators attempt to "choose" the correct
version. In other words, since they do not know which "ancient manuscript" is the correct one, they decide
for us which "version" for a given verse to accept. Take John 14:26 as an example. John 14:26 is the only
verse of the Bible which associates the Parakletos with the Holy Spirit. But the "ancient manuscripts" are
not in agreement that the "Parakletos" is the 'Holy Spirit.' For instance, the famous Codex Syriacus, written
around the fifth century C.E., and discovered in 1812 on Mount Sinai, the text of 14:26 reads; "Paraclete, the
Spirit?; and not "Paraclete, the Holy Spirit."
Muslim scholars state that what Jesus actually said in Aramaic represents more closely the Greek word
periklytos which means the 'admired one.' In Arabic the word Muhammad' means the praiseworthy,
admired one.' In other words, periklytos is "Muhammad" in Greek. We have two strong reasons in its
support. First, due to several documented cases of similar word substitution in the Bible, it is quite possible
that both words were contained in the original text but were dropped by a copyist because of the ancient
custom of writing words closely packed, with no spaces in between. In such a case the original reading
would have been, "and He will give you another comforter (parakletos), the admirable one (periklytos)."
Second, we have the reliable testimony of at least four Muslim authorities from different eras who ascribed
"admired, praised one' as a possible meaning of the Greek or Syriac word to Christians scholars.
The following are some who attest that the Paraclete is indeed an allusion to Prophet Muhammad,
      The First Witness
Anselm Turmeda (1352/55-1425 C.E.), a priest and Christian scholar, was a witness to the prophecy. After
accepting Islam he wrote the book, "Tuhfat al-arib fi al-radd "ala Ahl al-Salib.?
      The Second Witness
Abdul-Ahad Dawud, was the former Rev. David Abdu Benjamin Keldani, BD, a Roman Catholic priest of
the Uniate-Chaldean sect. After accepting Islam, he wrote the book, 'Muhammad in the Bible.' He writes
in this book: "There is not the slightest doubt that by "Periqlyte," Prophet Muhammad, i.e. Ahmad, is
      intended.»
      The Third Witness
Commenting on the verse where Jesus predicts the coming of Prophet Muhammad:
...a messenger who shall come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad…"
      Qur'an 61:6
... Asad explains that the word Parakletos:
... [it] is almost certainly a corruption of Periklytos ('the Much-Praised"), an exact Greek translation of the
Aramaic term or name Mawhamana. (It is to be borne in mind that Aramaic was the language used in
Palestine at the time of, and for some centuries after Jesus and was thus undoubtedly the language in which
the original - now lost - texts of the Gospels were composed.) In view of the phonetic closeness of Periklytos
and Parakletos it is easy to understand how the translator - or, more probably, a later scribe - confused these
two expressions. It is significant that both the Aramaic Mawhamana and the Greek Periklytos have the same
meaning as the two names of the Last Prophet, Muhammad and Ahmad, both of which are derived from the
Hebrew verb hamida ('he praised*) and the Hebrew noun hamd ('praise')."
      Holy spirit or Prophet?
Why is it important? It is significant because in biblical language a "spirit," simply means "a prophet."
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets
are gone out into the world.' [1976]
It is instructive to know that several biblical scholars considered parakletos to be an "independent salvific
(having the power to save) figure, not the Holy Ghost. (1977]
Let us further study whether Jesus' parakletos, Comforter, was a 'Holy Ghost' or a person (a prophet) to
come after him? When we continue reading beyond chapter 14:16 and chapter 16:7, we find that Jesus
predicts the specific details of the arrival and identity of the parakletos. Therefore, according to the context
of John 14 & 16 we discover the following facts.
      1. Jesus said the parakletos is a human being:
      John 16:13 "He will speak."
John 16:7" for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you."
It is impossible that the Comforter be the "Holy Ghost" because the Holy Ghost was present long before
Jesus and during his ministry. [1978]
John 16:13 Jesus referred to the paraclete as 'he' and not "it' seven times, no other verse in the Bible contains
seven masculine pronouns. Therefore, paraclete is a person, not a ghost.
      2. Jesus is called a parakletos:
"And if any man sin, we have an advocate (parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John
      2:1)
Here we see that parakletos is a physical and human intercessor.
      3. The Divinity of Jesus a later innovation:
Jesus was not accepted as divine until the Council of Nicea, 325 C.E., but everyone, except Jews, agree he
was a prophet of God, as indicated by the Bible:
Matthew 21:11". This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee."
Luke 24:19 " Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the
      people.»
      4. Jesus prayed to God for another parakletos:
John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another parakletos."
      5. Jesus describes the function of the other Parakletos:
John 16:13 "He will guide you into all the truth."
      God says in the Qur'an:
"O mankind! The Messenger has now come unto you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is
      better for you..
      Quran 4:170

@@attiq707 Thank you for your long conversation. The sentences are badly cut-off which means that you copy-pasted it. Not very smart because it contains many mistakes. So I will reply to it.
First of all the statement that in Koine Greek nouns who refer to eachother must agree in gender is wrong.
While it is a fact that “spirit” in Greek is a neuter term, this does not necessarily mean the Holy Spirit is impersonal. Nouns in Greek are assigned gender as they are in many languages. In Latin and the modern romance languages this is the case as well. For example, the Latin word for lance is lancea which is feminine. This does not mean that lances or daggers are actually female and personal! The same can be said for Greek words such as kardia, which means, “heart.” The fact that this Greek word is feminine does not indicate hearts to be female and personal. Nor does the fact that a word like baros, Greek for arrow, which is neuter, indicate arrows to be impersonal forces. Words are simply assigned gender in these languages.
Further, if being referred to as “spirit” then both angels and God the Father would have to be “forces” rather than persons as well. In John 4:24, Jesus says “God is spirit (Gr. - pneuma) and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”.
The word God, Θεός Theos, here is a noun and the gender is masculine.
The word πνευμα, pneuma here is a noun and its gender is neuter.
Or John 1:4 "In him (M) was life (F), and that life (F) was the light (M) of all mankind." So a female noun wich refers to a neuter noun.
So clearly examples of nouns who refer to each other with different genders.
So in the same way is the Παράκλητος, Paraklētos (Masculine noun) the Ἅγιον Πνεῦμα, Hagion Pneuma (Neuter noun), the Holy Spirit.

    • @reneandjohn
      @reneandjohn Рік тому

@@attiq707 Another statement that the ancient Manuscripts do not agree in John 14:26 concerning the word 'Holy' before Spirit is also very wrong. ALL ancient Greek Manuscripts contain the word Ἅγιον (Hagion), HOLY Πνεῦμα (Pneuma) Spirit. There is NOT ONE ancient Greek Manuscript which in which the word Ἅγιον (Hagion) is absent. The codex in which your copy paste comment refers is a Syriac translation of late-4th- or early-5th-century. So no Greek ancient manuscript. But your source deliberately removed that fact.
Not even taken into account that the older Greek Manuscripts e.g. P66, P76, P5, P22, P28, P39 contain the word Ἅγιον (Hagion) Holy.
And there is also zero evidence of the word "perklytos" in John 14-16. The only people who try to change it are the islamic apologists. The Greek word “periclytos" was used by Homer when he wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey in the classical Greek of the 10th century B.C., but there is not one instance where this word, is used in the 1st century CE.

From this text "He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth" which book is the Quran talking about.

    1. God will Put His Words in the Mouth of the Awaited Prophet
The Qur'an says of Prophet Muhammad:
"Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed."
    Our°an 53:3-4
This is quite similar to the verse in Geneses 18:15:
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his
mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him" (Geneses 18:18)
The Prophet Muhammad came with a message to the whole world, and from them, the Jews. All, including
the Jews, must accept his prophethood, and this is supported by the following words:
    "The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me;
    unto him ye shall hearken."
    ° (Deuteronomy 18:15)
    2. A Warning to Rejecters
    The prophecy continues:
Deuteronomy 18:19 "And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he
shall speak in my name, I will require [it] of him." (in some translations: "I will be the Revenger").
Interestingly, Muslims begin every chapter of the Quran in the name of God by saying:
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem - "'In the Name of God, the Most Gracious Most Merciful."
Abdul-Ahad Dawud, was the former Rev. David Benjamin Keldani, BD, a Roman Catholic priest of the
Uniate-Chaldean sect. After accepting Islam, he wrote the book, *Muhammad in the Bible.' He writes about
    this prophecy:
"If these words do not apply to Muhammad, they still remain unfulfilled. Jesus himself never claimed to be
the prophet alluded to. Even his disciples were of the same opinion: they looked to the second coming of
Jesus for the fulfillment of the prophecy (Acts 3: 17-24). So far it is undisputed that the first coming of Jesus
was not the advent of the Prophet like unto thee and his second advent can hardly fulfill the words. Jesus, as
is believed by his Church, will appear as a Judge and not as a law-giver; but the promised one has to come
with a "fiery law" in his right hand."

Muhammad (pbuh) is prophesised in the book of Isaiah:
It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
“And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.”
When Archangel Gabrail commanded Muhammad (pbuh) by saying Iqra - “Read”, he replied, “I am not learned”.

    • @reneandjohn
      @reneandjohn Рік тому

Now let's read Isaiah 29 in context. First of all, there is no prophet mentioned at all in Isaiah 29. Verse 1: ”Woe to you, Ariel, Ariel, the city where David settled! Add year to year and let your cycle of festivals go on....”
Ariel which means "lion of God" or "lioness of God" and is a name applied to Jerusalem. So NO prophet.
Now read verse 9-13 also in context: “Be delayed and horrified, Blind yourselves and be blind; They become drunk, but not with wine, They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink. For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes-the prophets; And He has covered your heads-the seers. The entire vision will be to you like the words of a sealed book, which, when they give it to the one who is literate, saying, “Please read this,” he will say, “I cannot, because it is sealed.” Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, “Please read this.” And he will say, “I cannot read.” Then the Lord said, “Because this people approaches Me with their words And honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of the commandment of men that is taught;”
Well if verse 12 refers to Muhammad then clearly verse 13 refers to his listeners. So if in Isaiah 29:12 Muhammad is mentioned then his listeners, the followers of Islam, removed their hearts far from the Lord and their reverence is human made.
So Isaiah 29:12 is NOT about Muhammad unless the followers of Islam are far from the Lord and their reverence is human made.
There is no and there has never been a Muhammad in the Jewish and Christian Scriptures at all. If there was any then the author of the Quran should quote the verse. But the author of the Quran was not able to quote from the Torah or Gospel at all.

@@reneandjohn First revelation of the Quran is the fulfilment of the Biblical Prophecy.
      King James Bible 29:12
And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
      And this is how Muhammad (peace be upon him) got the revelation when the Arc Angel Gabriel came to him;
Saying "Read" "iqra" and he says "maa'na bikaari" and he says, I'm not learned!
Did Mohammed pbuh know the book of Isaiah ?
Was there an Arabic Bible available?
In his life time there wasn't. It was thousand years after Jesus for the first time the Arabic Bible was written.

@@attiq707 So you stubbornly hold on that Isaiah 29:12 is about Muhammad then be consistent and accept also the CONTEXT of this verse. Now let's read Isaiah 29 verse 9-13: “Be delayed and horrified, Blind yourselves and be blind; They become drunk, but not with wine, They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink. For the Lord has poured over you a spirit of deep sleep, He has shut your eyes-the prophets; And He has covered your heads-the seers. So according to your standards, you followers of islam have removed your hearts and your reverence is human made.

@@reneandjohn In Isaiah God informs us that this special person will bring Something New, mankind has told that we will Sing To The Lord A New Song! (Isaiah 42:10). His praise from the ends of the earth...
A New Song Means a New Law, A New Way Of Worship!
This is exactly what Islam represents!
The emphasis on the New Song here is seen in the present world and all over the earth, The Quran opens with a statement praise be to God, Lord of all The worlds and it is recited by Muslims all over the world during prayers everyday.
The New Song cannot refer to Jesus because he did not bring about anything new, rather he confirmed the law of Moses that was already there, in The gospel of Matthew he said; think Not I come to destroy the law or the prophets, I am not come to destroy but to fulfil , Jesus obeyed and followed the law Of Moses throughout his life, Jesus didn’t sing a New Song he sang the same song Of Moses, the Torah , moreover the diciples Of Jesus also followed the law of Moses even after Jesus departed , the book Of Acts we are told that the diciples looked to the Torah for guidance.
“For the law Of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times” (Acts 15:21)
Who Will He Be Sent To?
In Isaiah God emphasises the universal mission of the coming person by mentioning that he will be made a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles (none Jews) The Quran confirms that prophet Muhammad pbuh was sent for whole Of mankind Jews and gentiles alike, in the Quran God tells us “We have sent you (O prophet ) as a Bearer Of Glad Tidings And a Warner for the whole Of mankind , But Most People Have No Knowledge.
      Quran 34:28
The verse in Isaiah (42:6) cannot apply to Jesus , because in the gospel of Matthew (15:24) Jesus said; “I was only sent to the lost sheep of Israel “.
In Isaiah 42:16 God further states that; “And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.”
The pagan Arabs at the time of prophet Muhammad pbuh fits this description perfectly because they had not been sent a messenger prior to Muhammad pbuh. The Quran bears witness to this, God states that Muhammad was sent to “Warn A People To Whom No Warner Has Come Before “ (Quran 32:3).
The verse in Isaiah cannot apply to Jesus because his people Israelites had already received a multitude of prophets from God.
In Isaiah (42:17) God emphasises that this special person will be sent to “Those who trust in idols, who say to images, “You are Gods’.
The whole of Arabia at the start of Muhammad’s prophethood consisted of idol worshipers, again this cannot be reference To Jesus because his people the Israelites were monotheists and not idol worshipers, moreover Jesus explicitly told his diciples to stay away from the idol worshipping Gentiles, the exact opposite of what God prophesied in Isaiah , Gospel Of Matthew tells us that “These Twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions “Do Not Go Among The Gentiles” (Matthew 10:5)
In Isaiah (42:13) God states that this special person will be a worrier and will “Go forth as mighty man, He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war, He shall cry, yea, roar, He shall prevail against his enemies throughout history God has dealt sternly with those who are sent Guidance and persist in disbelief , prophet Muhammad pbuh had to engage in many battles with the idol-worshipping enemies of God and ultimately prevailed against them by comparison Jesus did Not Triumph over his enemies, according to Christians he was crucified by them moreover Jesus wasn’t interested in fighting He was Not A Man Of War, He was A pacifist according to the Bible, He said such things as; “FOR ALL WHO DRAW THE SWORD, WILL DIE BY THE SWORD “ (Matthew 26:52)
And my kingdom is not Of this world, if my kingdom were Of this world then would my servants fight (John 18:36).
      What will He Achieve?
In Isaiah God gives us a list of momentous achievements for this special person , chief of Of these idol worshipers will be turned back with utter shame , not only prophet Muhammad conquered Makkah the pagan capital of Arabia but by end of his life in just 23 short years of prophethood Arabia has shunned idol worship and now worship the one true God Of Abraham.
This cannot apply to Jesus as it is Christian themselves who were humiliated and Greatly Ashamed for hundreds of years after Jesus , they were persecuted at the hands of the Romans Empire who were idol worshipers they executed some of the Apostles Of Jesus such Peter and Paul , Christians were tortured and even fed to the lions.
Finally Isaiah (42:18-23) closes with An Admonishment from God, “HEAR YOU DEAF; LOOK, YOU BLIND, AND SEE!
....YOU HAVE SEEN MANYTHINGS, BUT YOU PAY NO ATTENTION; YOUR EARS ARE OPEN, BUT YOU DO NOT LISTEN.”
....WHICH OF YOU WILL LISTEN TO THIS OR PAY CLOSE ATTENTION IN TIME TO COME?
This is clear that the Deaf and Blind God is talking about in this verse are those who reject prophet Muhammad pbuh.
Who Among You will Heed God By Acknowledging Him? Who will listen and pay close attention in time to come!
“Those Who Follow The Messenger, The Unlettered Prophet, Whom They Find Written In What They Have Of The Torah And The Gospel, Who Enjoins Upon Them What Is Right.”
      (Quran 7:157)

First of all, Deedat was not officially educated. Just look on the internet for his education, and you find something like this:
'Deedat was born in the town of Tadkeshwar, Surat, Bombay Presidency, British India in 1918. His father had emigrated to South Africa shortly after his birth. At the age of 9, Deedat left India to join his father in what is now known as Kwazulu-Natal. His mother died only a few months after his departure. Arriving in South Africa, Deedat applied himself with diligence to his studies, overcoming the language barrier and excelling in school, even getting promoted until he completed standard 6. However, due to financial circumstances, he had to quit school and start working by the time he was at the age of 16. .....
... He started attending Islamic study classes held by a local Muslim convert named Mr. Fairfax. Seeing the popularity of the classes, Mr. Fairfax offered to teach an extra session on the Bible and how to preach to Christians about Islam. Shortly thereafter, Fairfax had to pull out and Deedat, by this point quite knowledgeable about the Bible, took over teaching the class, which he did for three years. Deedat never formally trained as a Muslim scholar.' Source Wikipedia.
So Deedat had no formal education, let alone education in the classic Hebrew language.
Never did Deedat refer to a Hebrew dictionary or lexicon and never did He refer to a high valuated Hebrew scholar to prove his point.
But in front of an ignorant and gullible audience, he made up the unproven conspiracy that the Hebrew מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים, ‘ma-kha-madim’ is wrongly translated. And his audience in their ignorance and gullibility believed him blindly.
Also did he pronounce the Hebrew מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים not as 'ma-kha-madim’ but wronly as ‘muhamaddim’. Also here in the same way his ignorant and gullible audience believed him blindly.
And also made Deedat the deceptive false premise the Hebrew ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' as a name, meanwhile it is not a name. And also here his ignorant and gullible audience accepted this lie blindly.
Clearly Deedat was a showman, a liar and a deceiver.
But if I'm wrong, then please correct me with clear evidence. Just show me one high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon which clearly states that the Hebrew מַחְמַד is a name and pronounced as 'Muhammad'.

I think ask yourself why should it be an article of fate for another religion to believe in the existence of an original Bible.
The same Bible you seem to all agree that people loose things in translation or attempt to insert things into?
What Dr. Ahmad Deedat is trying to point out is... Whatever you are reading and sticking to from what you were taught is from some translated version of a "lost or inserted" meaning.

Well the truth is that Deedat was no scholar in classic Hebrew. Moreover he was not even officially educated at all. Never did Deedat refer to a Hebrew dictionary or scholar to prove his point.
The first mistake by Deedat is that he pronounced מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים as ‘muhamaddim’. But he is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. Just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon.
The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים’ is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name. If you read John 14-16 in context, then it will become clear that the Paracletos (translated as Comforter or Helper) does not fit Muhammad at all. First of all, in John 14-16 Jesus Christ was speaking to His disciples.
But Muhammad was not with the disciples (John 14:17).
And Muhammad was not in the disciples after Jesus Christ's ascension (John 14:17).
Muhammad was not sent in Jesus' name (John 14:26).
Muhammad was not the Holy Spirit (John 14:26).
Muhammad did not teach the disciples (John 14:26).
Muhammad did not remember the disciples everything what Jesus Christ has said to them (John14:26).
Muhammad is not sent by Jesus Christ (John 15:26 and 16:7).
Muhammad did not testify about Jesus Christ to the disciples (John 15:26).
Muhammad did not guide the disciples in all truth (John 16:13).
Muhammad did not disclose it to the disciples (John 16:13).
Muhammad did not glorify Jesus Christ (John 16:14).
Muhammad did not become his 'revelation' from Jesus Christ (John 16:14 and 16:15).
So the Paracletos is definitely NOT Muhammad.

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”. But the verse is clear e.g. in the word ‘because’. In Greek “ὅτι’ = ‘hoti” which means ’that’ or ‘since’ or ‘because’. Clearly this verse only states that spirits are the result of the presence of false prophets in the world. So 1 John 4:1 clearly states that false prophets are the course and spirits are the result. That makes clear that prophets and spirits are NOT the same, they are two different types of entities.

Holy Spirit already there? So what? In John 14-16 Jesus Christ was speaking to His disciples. And these disciples had not received the Holy Spirit yet. That’s also why Jesus Christ said that the Paracletos (translated as Comforter or Helper) is with them and will be in them, John 14:17. Muhammad was not with and not in the disciples, so the Paracletos is not Muhammad.
It is clear that Paracletos is the Holy Spirit with a special purpose for the disciples. E.g. to remind them everything what Jesus Christ has said to them.

      @reneandjohn Рік тому
