What a great pattern. I too used batiks and loved it. But, I sure had a difficult time with block distortion due to sewing curves, especially connecting the smallest pieces. Please know that I was obsessive about sewing curves correctly, and my pressing as well so as not to distort. Any hints would be welcomed. Thanks for the hint about swinging elbow out while cutting the curves.

How do get around this if your fabric choices ore not 42 inch wide . ? Can you cut the strip wider and cut the smaller size x 3 horizontally ?

What are the size of the fabric before cutting?
