You're so lucky that out there in Indiana they still run without wings That's what I grew up with I'm 67 now Even raced one for a while while a wing sprint car is still dangerous The men and women that strap into a non-winged sprint car or even a midget and I apologize to the women when I say this have bigger cojones than the man or women that drive wing sprint cars that's by far better racing than winged sprint cars are I sure wish they had it back here in Minnesota more basically the only time we get to see a good non-wing show is when they visit Knoxville and that's on a half mile which is not the greatest for non-wing cars if money permits I'm going to try and make a trip out to Indiana this summer I sure hope it works out
Yeah man, the Wingless class here in Australia use V6 Buick motors. They’re not the fastest thing ever but they are cost effective which means big fields and more folks getting into racecars which is cool.
thanks Tom the footage is cool, and this is an importent psa as well, you stated it some places deem the nonwings soo dangerous they wont even let them use a 410 or 360, though I cant belive they dont even run 360's with all the crazy midgets and the team sport racing they do in oz its basicly rollerderby with cars, and highlighting the insurance for the racers out there, I dont drive em but if someone needs me to hand them something or if I am in one of the pits and they need help shoving off I am more then happy to help makes me feel part of it, contribute to the sport in a small way and yes you see that I helped them that night even if only one thing, we talked while you were by logan seveys pit, like we talked at eldora the last 2 years at the 4 crowns, hope you are able to get back at it soon. the guy in the track and field shirt Jeremy
I know when I've done it up good lol iykyk but the rough of you mouth hurts 🤣 as the pain travels through all of you and it almost takes a min or 15 to really you know if you are good or not. I've said a was good and fall out 10min later and heck yes it's DANGEROUS but after you come out on the other side you have never felt so alive

Wingless sprints in Australia run a 3.8 litre V6 motor out of our Holden Commodore. This motor is based on a Buick engine
