Tmez, more like this for the noob dirt racers! This is good stuff and there's honestly a huge lack in knowledge like this online. It's hard for someone that doesn't have a ton of "ins" in the sport to learn and get started, so thank you!
learned a lot thought a jacobs ladder refered to the h frame with cross members that made up the bottom, and what the bird cages actually do but small block? I thought usac non wings ran a full 410 900 hp engine, still thats a huge injector no wonder they can generate huge power aside the stroke they have, unless this is a 360 which is the larger size they run in silver crown as well as sprints
@@tmezTv I thought 410 was considered big block, when its in big block modifieds or sprints or anything over 400 ci was big block, or does this use the shorter stroke version then the big block mods and the 410 950 hp winged sprints, I know sometimes you dont want as much power depending on size and track conditions but I thought a racing 410 was considered big block, though yes as it were in the pits when you guys have the panel off while working on the engine I did think it was a shorter length then I would have expected compaired to a drag racing or truck engine block.
I think this information just makes it even more incredible when you realize what you guys gave to work with. I'm sure some cars are considerably more complicated. As I understand it very few racers use magnetos anymore but the principles are still the same. Thanks for the interesting video and may your recovery be speedy.
That was incredible T-Mez! My wife finally got to see all the important features on a sprint car, what they do, and how to adjust them to make the car faster. You explainded everything so well, anyone could understand. Nice job. More of this stuff. Hope you're feeling better and getting closer to wheelin' one again soon!
This was one of the best videos I've ever watched. I grew up watching sprints and midgets but I never knew half of this. I just hear guys talk about the different parts on Flo and dirt.
i just started out in racing. this is now one of my favorite videos of yours. there are not alot of racers that would let this content out due to keep secrets but i just learned alot from this thank you so much! looks like your starting to feel better hope to see you race again soon!
Nice video that taught me a lot I appreciate the tutorial I run asphalt super late models but of course I watch all kinds of racing and actually had no idea about sprint cars!👍
Tmez! When are you thinking about getting back behind the wheel after your recent wreck? Will it be in a Sprint car or in a midget with Xrtreme Outlaws?? Awesome video!

410 ci yes. Ultimately, it’s just a high-performance small block Chevy
