It's cus he didn't have all the sodas yet (the ones that fully upgrade speed) and he got it somewhat late in game

I love how MatPat never showed an ounce of fear towards DJ Music Man because he was too busy being happy and excited to see that he was even in the game, especially when he knew he was going to be. It's like a mad scientist seeing his creation be brought to life while everyone else is collectively shitting themselves.

Fun fact: Ryan's biggest phobia in fnaf series is the music man, so you can feel the anxiety coming through to him when he said 'guys who is the DJ'
Why is that? I would have assumed it was due to the fact that this boss encounter literally is in a spider form, something that will without a doubt freak anyone out if their afraid of Arachnids.

I don’t know why but Freddy saying djmm is a nice fellow makes me really happy. Cuz Freddy knows what the animatronics are really like before they all went Acton crazy also the dj protocol was turned off when we flipped a switch so for all we know he is a nice fellow
I mean after that while shebang with him once you get all the breakers flipped he goes back into his booth and jams out. He doesn’t attack the player if they return to his area while he’s jamming out either so I’d say he’s pretty chill.
I think that when it said “safety protocols” turned off it meant that it turned off his sleep mode
When you flip the first breaker it turns on the experimental "Bouncer Mode" he has, which wasn't supposed to be used. After you hit all the breakers and go into the room with the robot head, his bouncer mode is disabled and you can go back to the DJ stage and he's just mixing songs and dancing and is harmless.
Ryan's legit fear of Music Man is hilarious but totally understandable

It's a TITAN SIZED SPIDER WITH BEADY BUT HUGE BLACK EYES AND JUST A BLANK STARE AND OPEN MOUTH WITH A NETHER PORTAL IN IT. It's terrifying to me pure nightmare fuel.

@@hayyeh7795 its actually more likely to be bathophobia or a derivative fear from thalassophobia which he mentioned during his subnautica playthrough! bathophobia is a discomfort with large depths and holes, especially the idea of being unable to see the bottom or end of them, so music man's eyes trigger this phobia, and i imagine the holes he uses to get around in this particular game dont help. i dont think ryan has confirmed having bathophobia specifically so im not diagnosing him or anything, just making an educated guess since i have a lot of interest in phobias /nm
He does look adorable while he's sleeping & cool while chasing us. Hands down my favorite part of Security Breach. The 2nd being the Sun/Moon section

I love how everyone outran the sabotage and Mark was the only one who had to dodge them lmao
From this you can see that the shoes upgrade really shouldn't be obtainable before DJMM encounter. Mark was the only one who enjoyed the true tension of that final chase with falling debris forcing him to duck and weave, whilst everyone else took a straight shot down the hall and kinda missed out on the climax of this set piece.

To be fair, Jack very nearly got hit by one, but he was far enough along that all we see is the edge of the cabinet frame.
Is it just me or was Mark the only one who's game decided to throw objects in his way opposed to everyone else who had a smooth run to the exit ?
If you get the sneakers in game it raises your speed up quite a bit, meaning you can just completely run ahead of the obstacles. Mark never got them.
Yeah ^ additionally, Mark kept looking back repeatedly and had very low stamina because of the lack of sneakers. And the DJ IS throwing objects since you can hear it in the background and at 10:41 even when he looks back, you can very distinctly see the objects being thrown
And his game was buggy

I love how Ryan is terrified and like having an anxiety fit from seeing the DJ, while everyone else is just like, “Okay you’re cool looking but I don’t want to see you ever again.” And then there’s Matt, fanboying over how cool DJMM looks and the fact that he’s in the game. I just love the drastic difference between Matt and Ryan it make me laugh.
I like how all the UA-camrs have a mixed reaction about the game overall, but seem to agree that this chase was the best part of the game

It's definitely the best part of the game. No other section matches the intensity of it and it truly puts you through your paces
I love how out of all of these Jack/Sean's game was the only one who's was completely broken in which vanny would judt spawn he would die for no reason animatronics would teleport more than usual ect(besides Mark's game crashing several times)

My favourite segment in the game. I absolutely loved it, and seeing the giant music man crawling around playing his epic theme was the best
it was a challenge,a test to see if you can handle the vibe
Here's a tid-bit for you; The music he plays when in Bouncer Mode is different each time, so that epic theme is actually Gregory's death anthem.
This and the Daycre are my favorate bits of this game..

I believe that Music Man is a renovated version of the Music Man from Pizzeria Simulator since the building is on top of the building from Pizzeria Simulator. That’s why despite the fact he’s originally designed like a Funtime animatronic he is still in Security Breach.

I think there's three different sizes of Music Man. There's the toy ones in the vents, DJ here, and Pizzeria Simulator's is somewhere between the two. Not gargantuan, but still bigger than a person
I haven't seen much of this game outside of the memes but that sequence was incredible.

best part: DJ-Music man is actually making the music himself, and its louder if he is closer to you
so each lever you pull adding to the intensity, that is DJ-Music man making his own theme to kick your ass with more intense by himself

When i saw this in the trailers i was so confused as to why you would build an animatronic that huge. Has anyone figured out how much an animatronic like that would weigh? And how can he climb walls? Btw love this sequence. I wish the rest of the game was this well made!
No idea for the wall climbing, but my headcannon for the size would be just for wow factor. Someone measured the size of the map and the place is massive, like literally would be in the top 20 biggest malls in the world, and it isn't even just a mall, so at the very least cost wouldn't be one of the issues for it existing. With that it wouldn't be too large a stretch to assume the investor(s) were willing to go over the top
The Boston Dynamics robot 'Big Dog' is the size of a small pony and weighs 250 pounds fully-loaded. DJMM looks to be roughly 3 times taller and wider, and is probably a good 6 times longer.
3x3x6=54
54x250=13,500
So, a robot the size of DJMM and built in roughly the same way as Big Dog would weigh 6 and a half tons.
However, DJMM is clearly more high-tech than Big Dog, so he's probably made of lighter materials and more compact circuitry. That probably cuts down on his bulk by a small percentage, but I doubt it'd be too much. Let's be fair and round down to the nearest tonnage. So, he weighs about 6 tons. That's about as heavy as an African elephant.
And my guess is that he probably moves on the walls with electromagnets.

@@scoodoobada Hard to say. Real-life animatronics are a lot more skeletal than FNaf ones. They're basically character-shaped framework towers with a bunch of moving parts. DJMusic Man, like most FNaF animatronics, is an actual robot: free-moving, and required to be able to hold up his own weight. He has multiple limbs that can move in multiple directions and he contains no small amount of computer and stereo components. I'd assume that his endoskeleton is a lot skinnier than his outer shell, and is probably heavily reinforced, while his outer shell is very thin and lightweight. The fact that he moves so silently makes me think that there may even be soft materials in his build, likely in his gloves. I really don't know. Fazbear Entertainment tows the line between the cheapest options available and the most high-tech, so it's hard to really pin down anything too specific.
