- The EFF is calling for a new statement of intent on a Government of National Unity, which excludes the DA and the Freedom Front Plus. The call comes as discussions to form a new government are stalling because of ideological differences and demands for cabinet positions. EFF Deputy President Floyd Shivambu has more.

I prefer the DA over the EFF despite being black. The ANC has achieved balance with their NGU, ensuring representation for all races. The EFF/MK seems to only prioritize black individuals for leadership roles, even if they may not be the most qualified. It is important for the ANC to prevent the EFF from causing division in the country. Many of us vote based on service delivery rather than race or historical events.
