Sub, onward to 100k!
Be there in no time!
i can't do the infinite copying combo in real life im sorry cgb
I saw this deck on your aetherhub 2 days ago and knew this was gonna be a future vid
100 days of jank for celebration? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)︻̷┻̿═━一-
If only I could subscribe again for you.
Fetches 12 lands in a turn. “Your go”
I was confused about this comment until I saw it in the video.. insane 😄
When?
Cool Kids Club here. When you cast 3 Fertile Footsteps with 3 Lucky Clovers in play in one turn. You can use the "Your Go" emote. That was special.
This deck is so insane that I'm playing Historic with it, and I didn't lose any game so far...
Best "your go" that i have seen, love it.
Played 4 games, & all of them were this deck. The meta is literally just whatever counters CGB's deck of the day :') Love it
Great I'll be playing against this all tomorrow...
Build a deck specifically to target it. Tormod's Crypt and Soul-Guide Lantern to exile Uro (also hates on cycling decks). Return to Nature, Wilt, and maybe Embereth Shieldbreaker to blow up Clovers. Then some big green/red things (ideally with relevant etb effects to get value around Brazen Borrower) to smash face.
The downside of CGB videos is that you run into the same strong deck repeatedly for a couple of days. The upside of running into the same deck repeatedly for a couple of days is that you can build a deck purely to hate on it.
Edit: someone else in the comments mentioned Heliod's Intervention and Shatter the Sky as hate cards for the deck if you want to play white.
I just lost against this deck
Four more times. Now it's the only deck in standard 2021
Been playing something pretty close already. Sorry.
Yup
Thank you for this, CGB.
I will try my best to tell friends to sub.
I'm gonna try this deck as we go into the rotation.
I may be a noob, but even if I don't don't hit mythic, I'm sure I'll learn something.
Thanks again for your content and everything you do!
Stay well!
Played 5 games with this so far today. 3 Temur mirrors, 2 were deck mirrors. Won all 5, so pretty stoked - and have found deck to be interesting and surprisingly skill intensive. So cheers!
I love playing Secret Keeper and Lucky Clover. It is such an awesome and funny budget Mill-Win-Con to play around.
I really appreciate you showing it to more people.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the vid, the 2021 ladder was already full of clover now even more ;)
That made me go to mythic with my Doom Mance Ruinous Ult deck :D
I really like that build! i was just thinking about a simic uro adventure deck but i didn't think about the merfolk! amazing!
Glad you like it!
I don’t know when my daily routine became coming home work and seeing what CGB cooked up for the day, but I do know I’ve been subbed for months now. So stop yelling at me! All my friends play Yugioh, or I’d tell them to sub too.
Hi Cgb
I found your channel back in the days when you had like 20k subs and i am really enjoying your content. For the Last 6 months or so i was so frustrated by Arena that i quit Magic for the time period, but now im finding my passion for the game once again because of the Commander format with my Friends in real life and with my interest awakening once again, i just Came back here to revisit your Channel.
You are doing Great Man!
Congrats to 80 k, your videos still entertain because of your creativity and your chill personality, and im happy to say that i have just resubbed.
Stay the way you are, greetings from Germany
For me, you are one of the cool kids.
Thank you! Glad you're back in Magic. And YOU are cool too.
Near-perfect deck, my dude. Only tiny tiny amendment I made was changed the neutralize in the sideboard to a didn't say please. I can't really see myself cycling a counterspell I wanted in my hand, and I would rather have the slight mill effect with the mill wincon option.
Just played an excellent 30 minute mirror with this deck. I don't normally net deck but this was just too good to pass up and I listened to your advice and 5 minutes or so in I knew I had to deck him out. He plays right into and i got the W. Great deck, great vid. Already subbed, onward to 100k.
Great to hear!
That Beanstalk Giant with all the Clovers on the board was crazy. But when you drew another Beanstalk with Uro, I was just laughing hard. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Played this deck when the video had 3000 views. Second matchup is a perfect mirror.
aetherhub.com/Deck/lucky-mill
Did you win?
I subbed because of this video, it has been 4 days since seeing this and I have been able to climb from silver stuck into Plat just playing this deck. So thank you sir, it's been fun to win this many games.
Thanks for the sub! And congrats on Platinum, that's awesome!
I tried denying my true nature for as long as I could, but after trying this deck I've come to realize: I'm not a Gruul mage, I'm Simic.
Been awhile, been playing outside but man it's FUN watching what you can do with this game!
Oh. It's Ondřej Stráský's old green/blue adventure pile updated for 2021. Neat!
Hi CGB! I’ve played against you using this deck a couple of days back, and I took the liberty to snipe it off your streamdecker :). It’s done wonders for me! Slight suggestion: how about a teferi’s tutelage in the sideboard? Works well with the overflowing insight, and is a good way to get the mill plan going early. I personally never used the mystic repeal for example
mystic repeal is for teferi's tutelage decks, also works great against demonic embrace
Learning new things everyday with you CGB, I didn't even notice you talked about the deck for about 10 minutes during the intro lol
Heard you talking about this on Arena Craft podcast. Took your advice and milled out a Temur Adventure deck with secretkeeper. It was epic.
Same!
Nice work!
This is actually pretty nuts and rotation proof. Thx for the podcast. Ignoring the Temur mirror, which is nice for this simic, the clear mana base makes it really effective. Zendikar could see this brew, specially if the wish board is nourished. Good job for a bo1 analysis.
53:00 was an instant scoop. That is the most "sportsmanship-like" attitude I´ve seen in a while.
Sometimes you just wanna see how far an opponent will take their insane synergy
I think it was most chill player in the world. I wanted to scream and cry just watching it...
*Ramp 12, get 4 cards from sideboard, cast Ugin*
*This is fine.png*
I just want to thank you. I've always loved magic and although I only play draft watching you every day has really improved my game and for the first time I got 2nd I'm draft at my local game store. I get is only 2nd but it's still an improvement. I'll keep you posted got when I get first. I doubt you'll see this but if you do thanks.
That's awesome! Congrats! Very happy for you and do want to hear when you get first.
2 pm. Best time of the day. Thanks grinding these out!
Glad you like them!
I was part of that over 60%. I am now subscribed, Mr.CGB.
Thank you!
I love the fact that I can finally make one of your decks with cards I already have, instead of them sitting unfinished at the bottom of my deck list! I was missing 1 temple, but nbd.
Hey CGB, I'm a 13 year old boy who absolutely loves your content and what you do. After pushing all season I finally got to mythic today for the first time ever and I thought I would just say thanks because, I'm sure you've helped me at some point along the way. Keep up the good work man :)
Rock on little bro. CGB is awesome and a great planeswalker, dive in and let the schooling begin.
Meanwhile me, 34 years old "hope i'm going to get out of platinum this season"
@@AtrolinK it's all about the grind
@@AtrolinK hey I'm 42, my problem is not getting tilted from bad draws and matchups. Was alot different last century when the game was simpler and wasn't a crusty old guy XD
@@dl2one I hear you buddy. 45 and I don't even play ranked.
CGB, I think you are slowly converting me to go blue. I’ve been a lifelong Mono Red fan, with an occasional mono black or white thrown in.
I’ve been watching your videos for several months now and am trying to include blue in my arsenal, but I’m not very good. When I see an open mana, I want to spend it ASAP. But that’s not what control decks are about.
I played this deck...I’m not very good with it, but I can still win the historic FNM event. Once the deck gets going, there’s actually so many options to choose from to bring down 5/5s or 6/6s or an occasional 9/9 Beanstalk...this is a very fun deck. Thanks for posting your videos. Keep up the good work.
Lucky clover as a legendary artifact would have made adventure decks much more balanced, in my opinion.
Couldn't agree more. Even just having one out for a few turns is so hard for the opponent to come back from.
And not trigger on casting, but after a spell have resolved to give a chance to counter a spell. Feels bad to counter something and two more effects come from it anyway haha.
There is many good enchantement in the meta at the moment. Playing with removal for artifact/enchant main deck is not a bad idea.
@@siobovitch dude. First of all, it doesn't matter how many Banishing Light I play, it's always too late by that point. And I am just handicapping myself if I put something like Revoke Existence in my deck. Come on now. Why do people always feel the need to defend the most broken stuff...
@@keystonerecords4541 If Lucky Clover will get nerfed something else will be the most broken stuff of all time in you heart. Uro, Ugin, etc, etc, etc. In any color i try to have at least 4 cards to deal with enchantement, until next set, and then things might change (i play in 2021 btw).
Thank you for elaborating the wishboard! I've had trouble understanding the blue cards...
Glad it was helpful!
Hey buddy this deck won my sub good job and keep up the videos
Thanks for the sub!
Thanks CGB!
Thanks for the locker room pep talk Coach CGB!!!
Anytime!
You’re my favorite mtg youtuber, keep up the fun and interesting decks and gameplay! You rock man!
Fine then, I subbed geez man lay off the pressure!
After now piloting this deck in over 40 ranked matches, both standard and historic, mostly standard, I now see when to switch to mill and changed sideboard for twferi's tutelage x2 and have alot of success in those tough games where it's needed
oh so you're the reason this deck stomped me earlier. Good to know.
This is the first time I actually enjoyed playing with Mill...and I’m using it on myself haha love it. This deck does so much it felt like I was actually in control of the MILLennium Falcon for the first time trying to pilot it all of these different options. I actually felt like I needed Chewie for some of the choices hahaha. Idk what’s with my Star Wars cheesy referance jokes, maybe the MILL and being the best deck had something to do with it. I also recommended your channel to a bunch of my friends because they couldn’t figure out where I was getting these random fantastic deck ideas.
I appreciate your Star Wars references.
Love playing against this every other game. Thanks 🙏
Great video and deck, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed!
Props! CGB, this is a great build. May I suggest a few tweaks? I love how this shuts down lurrus cycling. I will see you in the Arena!!
89%
I did your survey CGB! I wish there had been more opportunities to shout out for you~!
CGB......Mazaco 2021, buena sinergia a pesar de faltar red, no es fácil de jugar. Bravo
I built a sultai adventure mill deck for artisan 2021. It was surprisingly very effective.
Luv your vids bro !!!
Thank you!
Last season I played RDW. I am currently building this deck I cant wait to play it next season.
This video made me sub, thanks! The only thing I’m still curious about is what types of hands would you mulligan with typically?
Best of luck to 100k
Thanks
Loved the deck! Specially against aggro and mono red. It was amusing, to say the least.
Glad you enjoyed!
this was one of my favs!!
Gonna be playing this all day tomorrow
I don't have the wildcards for it yet but I'm interested in trying an Adventures variation that is Giant-based, AKA featuring Realm-Cloaked Giant, Bonecrusher, Beanstalk, Grasping Giant, Giant Opportunity, etc. It might be worse than Uro and Borrower and such but it seems fun. If you would try it out that would be sweet!
I added a copy of thassa's oracle to the main deck, fetching it from the yard with once and future when I end up milled. I even used once and future on upkeep, purposely not paying adamant, in order to win against a mill deck.
That MonoW deck looked real cool
that 3 clover beanstalk turn was the most disgusting thing i've seen
Wow, this was a great one! thank you CGB!
You know what? I think you would look very handsome with a Peaky Blinders haircut. you should surprise us with that kind of very bold haircut one of these days. :) I tried it on myself and even though I was hesitant to try a cut so different from what I usually do, I love how it turned out.
Who will win: Simic Adventure, or the deck that put an Embercleave on an Elder Gargaroth... I love you CGB.
I switched out the Neutralize for Teferi’s Tutelage. Been 2 matches where that’s rough, but with the reanimate deck ive been seeing mill pops up a whole lot and it’s paid off big most games. Wondering if you have any thoughts CGB great content appreciate all the thought that goes in and calm clear explanations. You’re the best!
Love this deck...so fun and versatile. Feels like totally different play lines than Temur Adventures. I did try a 2 of Thassas Oracle as well and use Once and Future if it was milled. But your version worked much better. I just wanted the option to mill myself if thats the direction the game was going. Thanks for the instructive intro as well!
Side note: Seriously people stop making Arena toxic!!! If you're losing, don't rope...just concede. So much other toxic behavior in Arena, but that was the biggest one I've seen lately. Four Sultai ramp players in a row roped me on game 3 after losing to my jank Temur Rec without the Rec deck. I laugh and watch Netflix waiting on the rope, but its still so toxic. Just be a decent person and concede. Arena should be fun. If you feel the need to be toxic just for losing, then may want to try a non competitive game. Although, sometimes your toxic ropes are nice because I get a bathroom break.
Sorry to CGB for using your comment section to soap box. If its any consolation, probably no one will read it. And I'm a proud member of the CKC. I actually watch some videos all the way through twice.
CKC members are cool.
Just saw this on the arenacraft podcast
I played against this deck in BO1 a few times last night. It's good!!
That second mirror match with the Giants!
Love this deck :) Just managed to beat a monowhite devotion deck after I got 4 18/18 beanstalk giants :)
nice build id swap overflowing insight for garruks uprising in the side board
You must have guts, playing Uro and Ugin and still complain about other people's cards :D
Lmaooooo truth
He can be a whiny bitch, indeed. Or, sometimes, he's not one, not often.
Absolutely. But not his fault. These cheesy cards should simply not have been printed in the first place.
Stephen Vittles I agree on Uro, but Ugin is 8 mana. If I resolve an 8 mana planeswalker, it should be extremely powerful.
Parker Kent Agreed, but it’s the enabling cards are the problem. Far too easy to reach 8 mana, especially with aggressively under costed cards like Uro.
I'm already subbed, but I subbed again in spirit. Just for you CGB, just for you.
That's the spirit.
I am old enough to notice the Ghostbusters reference. Well done!
Thank you for noticing.
@40:30 he played simic wall of omens this guy here cgb is a hero
Fetching 12 lands in 1 turn... shuffler working as intended boiz
Loved this deck. I tried temur clover you showed the other day but it's so hard to pilot. And I got color screwed so many times. With this one I'm over 70% win rate in Platinum. In one of the matches I milled myself with 5 lands open just to see if an Uro would pop up by chance. And it did. Felt like jank, but in a tier 1 deck.
Edited to add: I just tried the same trick, had 2 clovers down, milled myself 12 cards and got 0 Uros haha 😆
Ooh, this is why i only got to play vs simic adv. today!
I am working on a rakdos version of lucky charm. I leaned into a knight sub synergy. Blacklance paragon and smitten sword master help you stabilize vs Agro when your own swift ends try to kill you. Merchant of the veil often saves the game late and helps prevent flooding... often cycling many cards until you hit what you need in that situation... not to mention it powers but up the often terrible order of midnight quite well. It may not go as big simic version but often is a pain in the side in the mirror when the rakdos version has all the right answers (Bonecrusher Giant, murderous rider, extinction event and the 1 of embereth shieldbreaker). I don’t feel my list is quite done yet, I need to test way more.
And done. Did you mention that you built a sonic food troll king deck during your podcast?
If so is there a video or a list. Played against some kind of version yesterday and looked very fun (for my opponent!)
This deck is amazing! I love playing it!
Glad you enjoy it!
I played this deck twice today, and beat it both times with an odd simic deck that just makes everything big.
Dude, this deck is really good.
51:25 I see your Value Town, and raise you Value City!
I have not had 1 game where I've drawn good with this deck. Went back to adding bonecrusher
Very nice deck, try to play around with Discontinuity, Sublime Epiphany and Shark Typhoon in the side board.
2020 will go down in history as the year cgb got 100k subs and nothing else happened!
You talked big game about the Secretkeeper mill thing and then it never really happened. Expected to see at least one game where that came into play!
Good deck, lots of clover variations that can be explored that match up well and beat it.
Reality is though, if you are playing a clover mirror, often its the person who draws it and plays it that wins.
I've run Sultai clover and splash white for Mythos of Nethroi (with 4 fabled passages and giants it's cake to get the 1 white mana) You can also run a combo of Zagoth Triome and Indatha Triome (probably no more than 4).
Mythos hitting everything in 21 standard is premium removal for other clover.
Also makes removing Uro easier (rather than bouncing with only simic).
Also wish sideboard can be much stronger with black included.
That 2nd to last game was orgasmic to behold.
Hey i played this the other days its a pretty fun deck.
Yo that mono white deck is sweet
Subbed!
Thanks!
Omg a good Deck that can Mill your opponent? And it’s ready good? Love it
Thanks for that deck. Me as a noob finally cracked Mythic for the first time with it (being stuck on the last rank of dimond for some time). More importantly I almost dindn't have to craft anything as I already had most of the cards and what I had to craft (like Uro and Henge) will really server in other decks (if not banned, lol xD). Let's see what Zendikar brings and if this one will stay the same strong as before.
That's awesome! Great job!
@@covertgoblue Thanks! Your channel is really the best of what I've found so far. Amazing decks, I wish I didn't stop playing a year ago to have more cards from the latest expansions to be able to build more of them.
Hey man, didnt rlly like ur content at first, but i came to the conclusion that u're a clever man, nice work! go get that play button
I appreciate it!
good deck work like a charm
Glad you like it!
Stuff and things. My favorite.
Simic and Uro, what a surprise
This deck is amazing
Such a fun deck
Glad you enjoy it
What do you think about Bant adventures for better removals? like heliods intervention for multiple clover kill, shatter the sky and stuff
CGB: planning on playing Clover
also CGB: boo boo this Clover
44:30
Deck definitely takes some practice and real attention to the opponent, played 5 games with a card for card copy and went 3:2 with both losses being avoidable in hindsight.
