WE ARE SO BACK! 😎 Please note this video was recorded the night prior to the release of the official attraction POV and the ensuing technical difficulties at Tiana's Bayou Adventure. While I start putting the next video together, you can check out what I've written about the new attraction on our website, mickeyviews.com! Enjoy the show! -Brayden
I’m sorry to hear about your computer issues! But, my God, your new documentary on Americana, based partly on your trip to the Library of Congress - with 3D software and several sections - has got me excited! I’ve needed something great to look forward to - TYSM, Brayden!
I don’t want to go hating on Tiana, but what I do want to do is go loving on Splash… the biggest mistake on this ride was feeling the need to change it.. the story, the characters and the ride weee magic and loved worldwide… no more laughing place and zippedeedooda… and the spikes on the drop… it’s so sad. It’ll be good, if it will not be as good
The normal guest has never been “nerdy” enough to notice the small details, but it was always done by Disney anyway. And subconsciously it made the experience real and authentic. Disney spearheaded this sort of attention to detail and it is what made them different. Losing their way and it’s really sad.
I literally point out the small details to my party that they may have missed on rides and once you point them out, they always want to ride again and look for more!!
Thanks for saying what many of us have noticed but the vloggers don't have the guts to say because they don't want to lose their disney credentials. It is very sad where the current Disney is being run, but most people don't care.
I agree about the signage and regular guests noticing. They may not know why something is off but they'll feel it. It's similar to an uncanny valley effect.
Magic Kingdom needs to ADD something new before closing anything else...the crowds are awful and uncomfortable. There is no magic waiting an hour for any good ride. Love Mickey Views!
@@HigherQualityUploads use your pocketbook or lack of. Too bad most will not realize their power! They just say more Disney. Disney needs to b knocked down so much that maybe it will knock some sense in them .
I wonder if tron and tiana’s going to stand by queue will absorb crowds. Magic kingdom will always have large crowds since it’s the most visited park in the world.
They should retheme rockin' rollercoaster to Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, don't need to worry about licensing fees when you already own the license. Plus, we could always use more Muppets in the parks.
People have been suggesting that for years. If the band gets replaced for Rockin' Rollercoaster, they'll either go with The Electric Mayhem or some artists Disney is trying to promote.
@@writerpatrick I hope they go with the Muppets. So sad with what happened with them. Disney seems to buy things and then either does very little to nothing with it (i.e. the Muppetts) or goes way overboard overproducing content which withers in quality and gets diluted (perfect example - Star Wars).
8:43 lol Disney won’t say it but they been removing free entertainment , sitting , and shade. You want shade get in line, go shopping , or pay for a meal
I know its been a little while, but I was just hearing about the disastrous CM previews for TBA and thinking to myself "I need to know what Brayden thinks about all this mess!!!" And here you are! Thanks!
There's been alot [and I mean a LOT] of trash talk regarding this latest of Disney's blunders...even the diehards will eventually push WDW aside for a bigger, better, more spectacular Epic Universe. My son is one of said CMs, and he definitely will not ride this again. While there IS a definite improvement in the quality of animatronics, there's no real set storyline - just a bunch of random scenes thrown together. Even some of the finishes of the different vignettes seem unpolished, especially for Disney's [past] creations.
Your comment on the used of decals verse hand stenciling is spot on. Part of what makes an immersive experience is a land seems to have aged in places instead of being freshly waxed on the showroom floor. I would expect to find some nice patina'd vehicles amongst the trees of the bayou. The down time for Big Thunder Mountain will allow for a prep for a new portal into beyond big thunder ... but a copy of radiator springs sounds lackluster. Disney should be more conscience about the placing of lands, the summer weather patterns are very different between from California to Florida. And is a Pixar focused Land right for a castle park.
Hong kong and Shanghai have their toy story lands in their castle parks and Cali has galaxy's edge in theirs, they did a pretty good job with those so far (using galaxy only as another example of a non "traditional" ip land at a castle park)
Disneyland's Thunder was down from the start of 2013 to spring 2014 for a complete track replacement. So its not un heard of that Disney would be willing to spend the money to do that extensive of a refurbishment.
Thanks for being honest. You can tell the difference between those with Disney media and those without it. My wife and I talked on how you will probably never get media because you are to honest.
When I first saw the Big Thunder dynamite effects at Disneyland, I was not impressed. Little changes like that don’t change my impression on the ride. I was very impressed with the long tunnel at Disneyland Paris, now that was amazing. I still love the ride at every park.
I was just looking for your video on this! ❤ I appreciate you being honest unlike all the other UA-camrs out there that won't get invited back to press day if they say something negative.
The birds in Splash Mountain were taken from America Sings which took over the rotating building when they removed Carousel of progress. So the animatronics on the West Coast are even older.
Good to see you back!!! Your content is always enlightening and informative! Can’t wait to see your next feature length content on Address Unknown! I’m heading your way this weekend to see my daughter and her family! Stay cool…it’s heating up here in the South!
Awesome your back Brayden, u definitely give the best updates on Disney/Orlando parks around. Always straight to the point and honest assessments. Keep it up and look forward to the next ones 👍
Lettering is super noticeable. I agree. If you hadn’t said exactly why it felt off, I wouldn’t have been able to put my finger on why it looks bad, but definitely noticed it looked weird.
I keep hoping for Powerline, with Max - but I can’t ride roller coasters any more, so i really have no right to an opinion. I had not thought of a Muppets retheme, but it is a brilliant idea!
Transportation? Skyliner expansion on Floridian Way and/or to Disney Springs and connecting to OKW/SS with the new drone show and Sunrail/Brightline station?
Space mountain needs the most love right now, if anything just replace the whole track. And while they’re at it update the exit line to give it some life!
Maybe Disney could resurrect closed rides the are missed in one of the proposed small parks. “The Place Where Lost Things Go.” Add some lost restaurants, shops, and merchandise. The classic/vintage park could free up the other parks to evolve and please die hard fans who miss the old things.
You have always been so driven and do dedicated...your end result always proves this. I'm glad to see you back, but understand the circumstance behind your silence. Welcome home!
You’re right on the wall signage and truck decals…imperfection and intentional distressed aging effects would have been better for the time period theming. Details matter!
My CM son waited on the queue line for more than 3-1/2 hours to ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure on Tuesday because it went down for that period of time, only to be underwhelmed by the experience.
It was awesome hearing about what you are doing with Address Unknown. Very cool seeing you so excited and enthused about it - that seems to be your passion project. Would love to see a behind the scenes video of how you thought of it, what inspired you and a behind the scenes. Any chance we will see a trailer of what you've been working on? Great to see you back in the old You Tube Feed!
We have a Disney trip planned for Sept 2025, we've only been twice before. Big Thunder is my son's absolute favourite ride. If it's going to be down for over a year, we just may have to push our trip out further. Thanks for the updates.
Wow man! Thanks for that intro. A lot of us were wondering where you were at; glad to hear you were "lost" in a deep project. 🤓🧐😎 .....next time drop us a community note or something eh?! 😅 ✌️😉🤙
Just got back from the parks and Tiana's Bayou Adventure looks great at night. I agree with your opinion that the signage is a step down from Splash Mountain, which had amazing wood carved signage around the ride.
That new sign for Tiana's Bayou Adventure looks like it belongs in Pixie Hollow, not in a Louisiana Bayou. They should have just removed that out-of-place sign in the attraction and put it out front. 😢 Who cares? Universal does! I guarantee that the details in Epic Universe will not be so sloppy or mismatched.
Welcome back and as always great info. Do you think part of the reason BTM is closed for a year or so is to build a walkway past BTM to where new attractions would be? Right now there is no clear way to get to the other side of BTM.
WE ARE SO BACK! 😎 Please note this video was recorded the night prior to the release of the official attraction POV and the ensuing technical difficulties at Tiana's Bayou Adventure. The little details Disney USED to do is what made it a great company .
I agree about the signage and regular guests noticing. They may not know why something is off but they'll feel it. It's similar to an uncanny valley effect.
Same.
They look so photo shopped and lifeless.
They paved paradise and put up a (stroller) parking lot.
We might forgive, but we will never forget
@MickeyViews Tiana Opens on my Moms Birthday 🎂
@MickeyViews i think i wll enjoy Tiana since it revolves around NOLA and I live in Nola.
@MickeyViews are u going to do a ride for APs???
It's sad that they did that. Seems like they are taking the imagineering out of Disney and replacing it with finance-engineering.
Magic Kingdom needs to ADD something new before closing anything else...the crowds are awful and uncomfortable. There is no magic waiting an hour for any good ride. Love Mickey Views!
Disney doesn't care. As long as people are foolish enough to pay to go to their resort, they won't be incentivized to change anything.

Wait until they own Epic universe then the crowd at Disney will die down
They make money off lines being long
You’re so right about the signage. Even each Trader Joe’s location has an employee who does hand painted signage 😭
Splash mountain characters in country bear jamboree that’s incredibly awesome 👏🏻.
They should retheme rockin' rollercoaster to Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, don't need to worry about licensing fees when you already own the license. Plus, we could always use more Muppets in the parks.

Disney Executives, so how do we monetize relaxing from the Florida sun...

TBA is such a funny acronym. Like it'll never be finished because it's always "tba" lol.
Apparently, it is very forgettable in every way. Thanks for nothing, Disney!
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is not real and the footage is AI. Splash Mountain is alive and well.

There is no confirmation Radiator Spring's Racers Magic Kingdom will be an exact copy.
@@BoyFlorentin why design something new, when you can just duplicate the same plan in Florida

Unheard of in 2024, under Iger and Jeff Vahle though, but no, not in 2014
Disney needs to get rid of the dependance of cell phone during the visit. A credit card should be enough.
Always great to see a Mickey Views notification!!!
For sure! 100%

Splash mountain died for this. 😟
😢😢 sad but disney caved. They deserve all of this
