- I put 3 brand new portable & rechargeable Air Pumps vs. a plug in Air Pump made by Air Head. The three challengers are the Dr. Meter, Flex Tail Gear Max Pump Plus, and the Flex Tail Gear Ultra Mini Pump. I see whether they are capable of inflating 4 tubes, and then deflating them as well. You should note that the Flextail Mini (White) is made for pumping up sleep pads during backpacking and they explicitly say that they're not made for tubes or blow up mattresses. In addition, they're made to be tiny and light, that's a feature unto itself.
Agreed. But it has the attachments for real tube and my wife got it to use for tubes so I think others will try the same anyway. Good to know it can in a pinch, but best much better off for small sleeping mattresses etc. Thanks for watching and the feedback. Be sure to Subscribe! **SK**
