Unimaginable Blood Rivers of Spain

Near Seville, you will find the "Unimaginable Blood Rivers of Spain". Formed from mineral deposits, these deep blood red coloured rivers run for over 100km (62 miles). As part of the reconstruction of the area, and to offset the mining impact over the last 100 years, the Rio Tinto company has set up a foundation allowing visitors to see previously off-limit areas, such as mining tunnels, old train lines and train engines, station buildings and many other pieces of minining equipment. Other facilities to see, include the museum and the still active, (and massive) open cast mining facility.
