Gig work is definitely going downhill, I don’t even do rideshare unless there’s a big concert or they offer me some type of bonuses, even then we had a big concert couple weeks ago and I made good money, but not as good as the previous years, the surges were definitely less than before. I mainly Do Deliveries now and can usually average about $25 an hour for total time worked throughout the week but that is also down from previous years, combination of so many migrants and locals all doing delivery work has brought down the pay
Even here in the Bay there is a slowdown because of the oversupply of drivers. Then there is also a factor of Robotaxis here taking a share of the trips.

No I didn't see that but I think that's the same driver that was interviewed by the Rideshare Guys from Boston right? I would have to work 70 hours regularly to even get near those numbers. I was at the Marina to shoot some videos earlier. That's Alcatraz in the background.
Yo Randy, the Uber EV bonus is now monthly for $210 for 200 trips. Yeah I see alot of luxury cars doing ride share now like Lexus and others. If you want to upgrade there are a lot of options ranging from used Tesla Model 3s to something new like what I'm driving now.

@ShelterDogs most of my rides are X so if I only had X maybe my gross would be $100-200 less.
