Whenever time travel is involved, we can expect absolute chaos when it comes to timelines, which is the case with the Terminator franchise. Over the years, various projects have been associated with the franchise, and each has attempted to add to James Cameron’s creation. There's a lot to explore with sequels, reboots, comic books, and cross-over stories, and it might be challenging to realize what should be touched first. T1 and T2 are out of the question. Besides them, we had a great future arc with Salvation which was sadly discontinued and except that, TSSC was shockingly great in every way and same as Salvation, was cancelled.
If there’s a Skynet in the future, please send Terminators for the guys who were responsible for that!

I like the idea Resistance game goes first before the first two movies, it explains the T1000 & two 800s are from the same future timelime. The timeline changed when Sarah made a decision to go after Miles.
